Excellent veterinary office and staff. I had been living in TX for 6 years but moved to NC because of the military. I needed to find an equally good vet as I had in TX that I could trust with both my dogs, which is always nerve wracking when you’re in a new place. We had a great appointment this afternoon, they took the time to listen, and it was obvious that they truly cared about my dogs. I will be continuing to use this office for as long as I’m in NC. A big thank you to all the staff.

Winterville Animal care has been taking care of both my GSD's since they were puppies and have always amazing with their care. Needed to bring them in for an emergency visit and they got us in same day within a couple hours. Thankfully both dogs felt better by the next day.

Winterville Animal Clinic has been taking care of our pets for many years. Unfortunately, this week they had to help us let our sweet dachshund, Tootsie, pass away. They were very kind and compassionate during the process and helped us through a very hard decision. We highly recommend them!

Dr.Shane and Dr.Proietto have been fantastic with the treatment of my cat Oliver. They were able to fit him into their schedule ASAP when he came down with a sudden illness. They both come across as compassionate and truly wanting to come up with the correct diagnosis and treatment. They give off a good feeling of trust.

I have two small fur babies and the young lady in the back was extremely gentle with them. I could tell they felt safe and was well behaved. Vet Shane Proietto is awesome. He examined both my babies while answering all my questions and concerns. He also asked me questions which shows he cares about his little patients. I also love that I never felt rush so this will be my go to place for my pups

Everyone is so caring and customer-focused here, I can’t imagine bringing my Lhasa Apsos anywhere else for veterinary care. I was a nervous mama for my little girl’s dental last week, but the staff made me feel confident about dropping her off. I also asked for a lot of extra services and not one was missed, and the cost was exactly what I had expected - worth every single penny knowing my pups teeth are healthy. I feel lucky to have such a high-level of primary veterinary care here in the Greenville area.

I went to this place with my dog and it didn't same like this facility had any compassion for animals at all. Instead of trying to fit my dog in like my previous fits have done, they told me that they would see him. But, they will charge me an emergency surcharge. There are some veterinarians that are in it for compassion and treatment of our fur babies. There are others like this one who are simply in it for the money. Update: I am upgrading the review from one star to 4. I just wanted management to acknowledged that there was a problem with their policies. I personally know people who have good experiences with the grooming aspect of this business.

The staff was amazing and friendly and comforting to this nervous dog Mom who was dropping her 100 pound baby off for the first time ever for surgery. From the receptionist who handles the phone calls, to the office lady who calmed my nerves at check in, and all the way to the back with the techs and Vet it was a wonderful experience. We cannot thank Dr. Shane, Dr. Christian and the entire team for their dedicated and compassionate care of our sweet boy Bryce recently. Dr. Shane and the technicians worked so hard to diagnose and treat our boy. Dr. Christian provided the most compassionate care when our boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge by explaining what to expect and giving us plenty of time to say our see ya laters. And then to top it off by the end of the week we received the sweetest card signed by the entire team. We can't thank you all enough for all that you have done for our fur babies since we started coming to the office a couple of years ago.

The staff are wonderful and treat my baby like theirs. They always make sure your pet is in good hands and will go above and beyond. They are very helpful and kind. Just a great place all around. This is the only vets office I will take my animals. Also, love how the vets take the time to explain everything so you understand. They do grooming and everything and the prices are great. My baby is always excited to go see them.

I love all the staff at ACE! They are so caring, and gentle with my pets. Dr. P. and staff were so helpful and understanding back in October when we had to put our baby to sleep, they worked with us to help with her issues until her body couId not fight any longer. We had to get a playmate for her sister that was missing her, even though Rayne helped Nova heal from missing Riley.. Riley will always be missed 😢 I can't say enough..if you're looking for a Vet, look no further, this is the place to go!

My family has been going here since before I was born, and I plan to continue to bring all my pets here as well. These are the most friendly staff members I’ve ever seen and their love for animals is always apparent. Things can get pricy pretty quickly but rest assured you’re always getting the quality and care you’re paying for. Any procedure or visit is extremely customizable as far as what you do and don’t want done, and aftercare instructions are always very detailed and reassuring. This is an extremely trustworthy, inclusive, clean, compassionate office.

Ive unfortunately been completely let down by this vet. Weve been a patient here for about 10yrs. In that time theyve cared for my 4 dogs. 2 had to be put down due to old age and cancer and they were the best. 1 had to have an emergency surgery and they were awesome and worked with me on the bill. Currently because of health reasons and caring for a sick mother im kind of in a situation. My 10yr old Chihuahua being a 10yr old patient is past due for her exam and shots. Because of that nobody will cut her nails and she wont let me. I called Animal Care to see if they would possibly help me and at least just cut her nails. I was told too bad shed need the shots first and if you cant pay entire bill at visit then sorry but not here. The lady on the phone was rude and was only hearing about money. I knew Sunny needed an exam and shots. Thats not the issue. I just need you to work with me. I mean 10 yrs and 4 dogs later and its oh well. So basically it seems that caring for the animal is really secondary and if you cant fork out a bundle of money first then said animal doesnt even matter. I will never recommend or go back Animal Care. I understand about the bill but truthfully its only about lining their pockets. And thats a shame because Dr Proietto is a great vet

If you are looking for vet care that really does care, look no further. Recently had to put my FIV positive cat down...it was heartbreaking. They did absolutely everything right. Completely respected my wishes and let me cry like a baby for as long as I needed too. Today I received a sympathy card from the whole vet team. Sure it made me cry again but it meant the world to me to know they were still thinking about us. They have absolutely earned our trust and it's the only place I want to bring my beloved fur children.

The entire staff were extremely kind and caring in making arrangements and seeing Miss Kitty and her 5 kittens who were 8 wks old. Miss Kitty was a stray that showed up and had her kittens. Dr. Shane and ALL the staff were accommodating to arrange for them to all be seen consecutively. They were so organized, compassionate and encouraging. As an unsuspecting foster Mom I had lots of questions and concerns. They were so helpful and patient!

Let's face it, puppies bought during COVID have a difficult time with new things. Animal Care East makes it easier for this puppy mama to drop her baby off for baths, checkups, etc. Their care for my animal and kindness and professional interactions with me are 5 star. Winterville Animal Care has been with us for many years, through difficult times and very happy times. They shine no matter what the situation is. They were there for us 24-7 for many months of treatment when our beloved cat of 13 years had an aggressive, not curable cancer.
