So they are remodeling, great. (I'll edit this for a full review later) The new way of setting up the self checkouts in all their stores, across the board, sucks. There isn't enough space to checkout. It's a grocery store and they have made it like it's a store where you are buying a maximum of ten items or less. Also there is no organization for queueing in line. It causes extra traffic, stress, and clutter in the main walkway of the store. If you are walking up and down the aisles shopping you run into people waiting in line to checkout. The only thing that makes this place still usable is scan and go on the app.

Dear Walmart, please advise your cashiers not to get an attitude when a customer comes into their line with a few coupons. Also please teach your cashiers how to input coupons. It’s ridiculous that one location takes a coupon but another does not depending on the cashier’s critical thinking and customer service skills. It also speaks of laziness on both the cashier and supervisor’s part that no one attempts to input a coupons. I have spent a lot of money at Walmart but from now on I’ll go across the street to Foodlion.

This store is run by inefficient employees, most of them stand around and play on there phone. The store is poorly stocked because the isles are cluttered with unloaded pallets. Management does nothing to help the problem. Go to food lion or Harris teeter and spend the extra money. At least they care about there stores.

It was OK, not quite used to the self checkout and bag procedure. I see now why my life enjoys the curbside and delivery service. I prefer to pick out my own snacks, beer, and otc stuff.

Came in to return an item and was told customer service was closed even though there were 3+ employees wandering around the service area while I waited. Annoying to have two employees just talking and laughing loudly while I’m just standing here for a quick return. Then they wouldn’t even let me return the item because it isn’t a “super center” even though the online instructions said I could take it to any Walmart for a return.

Nothing like hunting down your own plastic bags at self checkout because the employee watching you is to busy talking on her phone that's hooked into the electrical receptacle.

This neighborhood market (off Firetower Rd in Winterville) is my new preferred store. Granted it's probably new construction but it's calmer, cleaner, has more selections, has better signage, and generally more helpful associates than the other two locations in Greenville, especially the one off Stantonsburg /I587 /B's Barbecue Rd.

Pharmacy staff was helpful. Found everything I needed in the store. For the most part, the store was clean and organized. Prices were generally average. The variety snack type items (sodas, crackers, chips, etc.,) were overpriced comparable to other stores. There are only self-help check out lanes in this location for grocery items. All-in-all it was a well stocked, good experience.

Dislike self checkout. Dislike being observed by 5 employees while zero staff checkout lanes are open. Will not be going here as often. Staff were helpful. Items were easy to find.

Only problem i had was being disabled, there were only self checkout lines open which I didn't feel like doing myself since i just got of work. Other than that, the staff were very nice, helpful and friendly.Update 3-22-23The worse experience (must've been the time) I made my pick up time between 9p-10p so I could go before I left for work. I got there at 9:50 checked in and nothing. I called the number on the sign....no one picked up. So I called the store. All in the pick up department had left (mind you my order was still in the time slot). Thank God for the two store managers there. The both came out and apologized for me having to wait etc. They were the epitome of customer service they should be applauded. But I know now I will NEVER do a pick up order after 7pm.Update 9-13-23I use delivery service now except when I go get my prescription. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

I'd suggest canceling the phone plan for the store. I've tried to contact the store for 3 hours (selected every option) and the phone rings indefinitely. There is also not an option to receive a call back or to leave a voicemail. Zero commitment to customer service. I had to contact Walmart corporate and have them contact this store.

This Walmart is very well organized. The staff is very helpful and kind. You will always hear the staff laughing and it just makes you feel good. They are very LGBTQ friendly. All the staff always smiles and waves at you. If you need help they will be there. They also help the elderly bring the groceries to the car. This is a great place to go and get what you need. THEY ALSO HAVE SLICED RAINBOW CAKES AND I WANT TO BUY ALL OF THEM.

I like this location because it's usually neat, clean and organized. The employees are also really nice. I had a great experience at the pharmacy today because the tech went above and beyond to help me with my insurance and switching my prescriptions from another pharm. She was smiling, asked if I needed any other help and never acted like I was being a bother like so many people tend to do lately so I really appreciated that!! 😀

So i came to visit this Walmart today i didn't post any stars because the visit i had today was awful there was a elderly lady that was in her 60 or 50 but i felt so sorry for her because she was by herself there was another younger lady working with her but i guess she didn't feel like working but she was on the clock the lady. Was so nice and patient and she was doing a great job as all other employees was not around . to help this lady and i know they had to be aware of what was going on its sadthat this store need to do better about these employees not doing they're need to be better organization at this store and then there wasn't a Manager in site no bags to put my groceries in .and there was another customer there waiting was another lady waiting at customer service for 20 minutes and nobody showed up and as the lady i spoke about earlier working hard as she could there was a young guy walking by and asked if i needed help i told him what was going on with the register and all he said is the lady that was working by her self was slow he was on break how inconsiderate of him and the nerve when this lady is all by her self i would say close the store and leave the pharmacy open they are always helpful there this store and management need to do something hire people that want to work i wont be back here no bags and no help there is people there not doing anything and taking up space a homeless person will come work harder than the people you have in your store i exspect better when we go spend our money everything i shopped for i left because i was so upset and I never did that before i hope that lady find her something better she is older than those people that don't appreciate they're jobs and they're is a older gentleman that work there also and he is always by his self and that's terrible. One of the most calming Wal-Mart's in Greenville, employees are not shouting at each other, and that is just talking.Still no eye contact with a may I help you find something, with a customer that looks like they are looking for a product. Remember Wal-Mart moves things around a lot.

This Walmart's Pickup department is TRASH!!! The fact that they show no concern when shopping for items. Fruits and veggies are brusied, old, and sometimes wilted. The way they pack the groceries is CRAZY! Bags are busted, 1 item in one bag the 6 heavy items in 1 plastic bag. Upper management seems to be no help! Disappointed in this Walmart seeing how I shopped here consistently. I will not be returning to this Walmart I will not be using and no longer will I even use the pickup services.

Most of the employees act like they're not at their job. They're out of a lot of stuff most of the time. Only having self-checkouts is no big deal for me, as I always use those even at stores with cashiers... but the employees running the area don't seem to have a care in the world. I learned on my own which were the card only and cash only registers, so I didn't need anyone to tell me after a few visits. It's wicked busy here more often than not. It's close to where I was living before I moved, which was so convenient - except when I couldn't get what I needed due to being out of stock, that is.

Not too crowded. Didn't see anyone w/o a mask. Pretty stocked compared to last time I visited. Cashier not friendly, but we ALL have those days... Gas almost 40cents cheaper per gallon than stations closer to my house!

If I could give 0 Starts I would. This is the second time I have come and been screwed by the pickup department. I had a pickup for 9pm and I arrived at 8:45 then at 9 it said delayed so I sat and waited. Now and hr later I call to see what's taking so long and I have been told that they have left and closed the department for the night because there were no more orders ready 4 pickup. I'm so over this Walmart. Not to mention a lady came after me and got her order in 5min and when I tried to get the employees attention she looked back and kept walking like she didn't hear me. Never again! This is the last time I deal with this Walmart.

I went to get a vaccine at the pharmacy. The pharmacist was very professional and friendly and the vaccine was given. It didn't even hurt. Thank you so much to the entire staff. 😊

Most of the vegetables look picked through and on the old side. Couldn’t find anything to take home with the exception of a lemon that was on his last leg. This is not a rare event here. Not much in the proteinCooler and frozen veggies were a train wreck! Walmart neighborhood market at this location is always a hit or miss.I do come for other things that aren’t usually stocked at other grocery stores like unusual seasoning blends and grass fed beef. Strange!!!

I don't go to this Walmart often, I usually go to the superstore...but, I've been here a few times and it's great, it's convenient!! I like being able to get my gas there when I shop there. This time, on Feb. 8, 2021 they appear to be remodeling and or changing products and there was a little wait time despite the fact that shoppers only had a few items. But, all in all, it's fine for grocery necessities and I'd go back if I need to 👍

For the most part the staff is always very friendly and will help you out… However there have been one or two employees that have been Rude when questioning the price of a product. I would give this store five stores based on some of the sales folks… However you have to check your receipt before you leave the store. You will get overcharged! I have had to go back three or four times because the advertised price is different when you get up to check your stuff out. I am still waiting On the manager to call me back. The receipt says his name is Russell. I have complained multiple times about the prices not matching up when you check out. Wanda is awesome! I hope they get this problem fixed because it is very nice store

I stop here because it’s closest to home and i can get money orders…. Yet the machine is ALWAYS broken. We’re talking months on months of it. I don’t see how at this point they haven’t just got a new machine. I’ll just go somewhere else to get groceries and money orders. Staff is not friendly at all lol, one lady was taking up the back whole walkway with two stocking carts and rolled her eyes as two of us turned the corner and she had to move the cart and everyone just seems to hate it there. It’s probably time for a management change….

Definitely need to learn customer service skills because the way the workers act as if they hates their job. I spoke to one of the workers at the register and she heard me but didn't speak back. Good way to get rid of your customers.

I haven't shopped at that store very often, so I had difficulty finding multiple items. The cashier was polite, but rather slow. That neighborhood Walmart has a very good selection of beer. The atmosphere was comfortable, due to not having some rasping music playing and when I ask for help, to find something, the employee was quick and polite.

If I could post zero stars then I would. I agree the selection is great and some of the staff are very friendly but.... After shopping for about 30 minutes and having my cart almost half full I tried checking out. There was one poor cashier working herself to death and two or three other employees laughing and goofing off. Since I pay good money to shop there, I refuse to go through a self check out lane as I believe my money help pays their salary. I went to a lane where their was no wait and there was a open sign. Another customer came in behind me as well. This was beside the employee who was working as hard as she can. Since the other employees continue to laugh and play around, I asked the hard working cashier if this lane was open. She replied it should be and called for one of the other employees to come over. The employee who was laughing and joking said the lane wasn't open and the hard working employee replied the open sign was up. The laughing employee stated it's closed and she wasn't checking anyone one out. (I am sure the laughing employee is one who is demanding $15 minimum wage). Needless to say, since they felt like it didn't matter what the sign showed, and the other employee was killing herself working, then I decided they could unload my cart of frozen items and all my other groceries that I wasted my time shopping for.
