Walgreens at 4211 NC-11 in Winterville used to be realiable, efficient, helpful, and a joy to visit. Unfortunately, the pharmacy at this location is no longer any of the above. They consistently close their window 5-10 minutes early while customers are in line, "lose" scripts sent to them, fail to properly communicate with providers and insurance to deliver services to their customer and, in fact, hang up on other pharmacies trying to transfer scripts away. They hold scripts hostage for days at a time while all of the other parties try to resolve issues. Using this location has become more of a risk to me and my family than a help. I am deeply disappointed as I used them for 10+ years without complaint until this started. As a side note, Covid is no longer an excuse for poor service and rude/obnoxious behavior.

Very unprofessional .not all but most.they never have prescription on hand when u need it they lie and say they getting it ready knowing they don't have it in stock .the pharmacy needs needs adequate help.time for upper hands to reevaluate their staff on all areas including customer service .

The Google pages shows that pharmacy hours are until 7:00 today (Friday) but when I walked to the counter the pharmacist was rude, had an attitude and said “we’re shut down for the night”. Why would a business confirm their hours on Google incorrectly.

Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Shantay, Lyric, and Linda were amazing! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Shantay and Lyric were very helpful and patient as I was trying to get my pictures printed and a photo book made from my birthday photo session. Linda was so pleasant when she checked me out. I will definitely be back. Thank you ladies for all you do. Your help and support is greatly appreciated!

This is by far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been due to the professionalism. The staff are rude and could care less about helping their customers-phone or In person. They way they dismiss people is astonishing. Customers stand or be in the drive thru lines forever then they shut everything down at 5 even with people still in line. I’m switching my business

I've always had a good experience with this pharmacy. Tip: before having your Doctor send your Rx here (or anywhere) to be filled, call the pharmacy to make sure they have the medicine in stock.

Terrible customer service. Consistently waiting on the phone for 45 minutes only to be told my prescription will be ready in the afternoon. Consistently go the next day and it is still not ready. Finally call back and it is now ready with no phone call or text after being told they will call when it is ready. Then told to come back when the pharmacist is off break because it wasn't keyed correctly. Every month we have consistent issues.

Why are the Pharmacies closing at 5:00 pm? Most people are just getting off of work; and can't pick up their prescriptions. I've been at this location for at least 18 years. Always raved at how efficient they were; and this is a busy location. Now, the lines are long, and not moving. My order sat in the system for a week before I could get it. I've been without my meds more recently, because they said they're working on it; and it's not ready for a few days later. This needs to change!

This Walgreens is the worst. They tell you when your prescriptions will be ready and two and a half hours later, they are not. Also, the clerk didn't know what insulin was. When she looked it up, she quoted the price and asked if we still wanted it. Obviously, she knows nothing about diabetics and their needs. Additionally, this store makes mistakes in filling prescriptions. Sometimes, you find a pill mixed in your bottle that is not what was prescribed. That's dangerous and could be life threatening.

If you want my honest opinion on this Walgreens location, DO NOT use their pharmacy. Every time I send in requests for prescription refills, the staff always tries to make me wait when I have scheduled pickup at least 24 hours in advance. More importantly: I take Meloxicam. This morning, I found a pill in my bottle of Meloxicam that looked different than the rest, so I researched the pill before even thinking about taking it... Good thing, because it's a STATIN for HIGH CHOLESTEROL. I don't even have cholesterol problems and neither does anyone at my home. What in the actual h*** people?!?!? When I calm down, I will be speaking with your manager and I will be a total Karen. You just wait.

Multiple times have failed to fill my prescription that I get every 30 days. I went in yesterday at 12:30 and came back today at 2:00 and was still not ready. The man in front of me was supposed to have a prescription ready at 10:45 and was still not ready by 2:00. Fortunately, my medication is something I can go without for a couple of days but this is a serious issue for those in need of different types of medication.

CDC just approved 2nd booster for those 50 and over. Tried to make an appointment on the app the next day. App said no appointments until April 1 but you could walk in. Tried to walk in today 3/31. Its 11:50 am, 5 people working the pharmacy and NO ONE at the pharmacy -not even at the drive thru. They refused to give me the Covid booster bc I didn’t have an appointment. I explained what the app said 2 days ago AND that I am traveling to FL next Thursday to see a 2 month old baby. Remember NO customers at the pharmacy—only me. And they REFUSED to give me the Covid booster! Don’t they feel ANY OBLIGATION TO VACCINATE THE GREENVILLE COMMUNITY? I am DONE with this Walgreens, maybe ALL Walgreens. My company has us use Walgreens and I am thinking of making an official complaint to my company. This isn’t the first time I have had problem with this store.DONT USE THIS WALGREENS. Notice all the low ratings!

I call in on one day to ask for availability. My doctor doesn't send the request until the day after. And, when the prescription request gets to the pharmacy, they tell me that they don't have it anymore.

I called in my prescription last night and was told it would be ready after 11. At 340 after waiting in the drive thru 30 min. Told it wasn't ready and to come inside to wait for it. Its ridiculous. Pharmacy closes at 5 PM but prescriptions are not filled after 4:30pm...how ridiculous is that because the pharmacy closes before most people get off work...I've been a customer for over 10 years but I'm in the process of moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

The pharmacy has ridiculous wait times for refills. Any other Walgreens, I would have had my pain medication, that I can not work without, in less than 30 minutes to a hr at the most. It's been more than two hours and im still waiting, and missing work.

Employees are always nice and friendly. Call ahead to make sure your prescription is ready or you will be waiting forever. Please shop around for anything else in the store… I hate to say it but Walmart is a lot cheaper. I needed to buy some Poly-Vi-Sol for my daughter and I asked the lady at Walgreens if they would match Walmarts prices and she would not. $8.69 at Walmart $11.99 at Walgreens

Go to pick up a back order Rx this morning that Walgreens could only partially fill early last week...DIDNT HAVE THE MEDICATION AGAIN... was told their shipment had not come in yet, next excuse their computers were down the other day...After getting more than irratated they infact found they DID HAVE the necessary medication and could actually fill the Rx from last week. My husband is about to undergo a second organ transplant and is in end stage renal disease. Medications are impairative to his life. Shame on Walgreens in Winterville for being dishonest and misleading. Specifically the tall red haired pharmacict who was willing to let me leave without the much needed Rx blaming her computer for being down a few days ago and the fact that their medication shipment had not come in yet. I wonder how many others have left thinking Walgreens in Winterville did not have the necassary meds in stock.Our Walgreens in VA was outstanding. We will be changing to a new, knowledgeable pharmacy here who understand the needs of their customers. ONE STAR IS GENEROUS. Corporate needs to address some serious shortcoming with the pharmacy in this store!

Pharmacy sucks sat in the line for 15 mins with cars behind me so I was unable to move. I called to ask what was going on! Lady stated just a couple secs! Waited another 10 mins 😡😡😡😡
