I am very pleased with their grooming services. They treat Barney like he was their own pet and always check with me as to how I would like his finished haircut to look. Of course, he always looks great and makes me proud to show him off.

I had heard great things about this dog grooming company, but had never tried it before. It was time that my puppy got his haircut for Christmas, so we decided to give K9 a try. I called to set up an appointment and the lady on the phone was very helpful and nice. It came time for his appointment, I took him, came back, and was so surprised!! Knox my dog looked AMAZING!! The groomer told the lady to tell me he did great & to come back. We had tried 4-5 other groomers and they were not as good as these groomers! I definitely recommend and we can’t wait to come back!!

I put in a request for mobile grooming on 2/13 @ 11am. I selected an appointment for 2/16 @ 11am. The site said they would confirm the appointment. At 2pm on 2/13 I received text messages confirming details about my dog and what I wanted. During this time I was NOT told my time was not available, and after confirming my address I didn’t hear anything else from you. At the time of contacting me you have confirmed you received my request that included a day and time. I wrongly assumed since they did not say that time would not work during the questions asked that my requested schedule was still on. I took off work in hopes to line up a new groomer since we are new to the area. At 11 I am waiting, at no time has anyone told me they were not coming or my selected time would not work for today. At 11.45 I finally call to find out they just “had not gotten back to me” to tell me the day and time would not work. Completely unprofessional, to not inform someone that you are not able to honor the selected day and time when you had communicated with me. Your website offers the ability to select a day and time, had you communicated with me when texting questions about my dog or even before the time I requested the appointment that time would not work, that would have been acceptable. I have now burned times off from my job to meet you and still need to find a groomer.

We are so happy to have found Pitt County K9 Academy for grooming. The service of a Mobile Groomer is priceless and to have met Shian was amazing and a blessing. She took such great care with our new pup Grace. We can not thank her enough and can not wait to see her again. Thank you Shian!

I had a very nice experience taking my boy here. The staff are all amazing! Dillion is who groomed Rylee, and I have no complaints whatsoever. He was very knowledgeable when it came to my dogs needs and what I wanted. I would definitely recommend! Thanks so much!

We had an emergency rescue situation that required immediate grooming attention of not just one but two doodles. We've used Dillon at K9 Academy for years with our dog Rizzo and and with this current situation our only hope that came to mind was him. We called first thing Monday morning after picking the rescues up on Sunday. I explained the situation to Ashley the receptionist and she couldn't have been more concerning and helpful to get the ball rolling. First we had to establish rabies vaccine, one was current one not..Remember this is a vacation week coming up so squeezing in is pretty impossible...Dillon called us back and said bring the vaccinated one in and if I have to I'll stay over....SERIOUSLY...that's our guy...total pet devotion!!!!! With one down and one to go...the next day he took the next and worse one in and amazing literally made this sweet dog saved by just feeling soooo much better. These two dogs have a great life ahead of them...but Even better...A GREAT FRIEND in Dillon who will always be in their life from now on.....We love you Dillon...you are our hero!!! Thank you to all the K-9 Groomin Staff for being sooooo caring and helpful....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ special shout out to bather 😘

Take my doggies to get nails done and they are awesome with both my lab and chihuahua! My chihuahua is 17 and they are so good with him! The lab is skittish with nail clippings and she is good there!

I absolutely love this place! Dillon has been grooming my bernedoodle for almost two years and has done an amazing job (I’m pretty picky on how I like her cut and he nails it every time.) The entire staff is attentive and caring. I’m bummed that we are moving because we were so fortunate to have found such an incredible groomer and facility. The attached picture was a going away present from the groomer for my sweet doodle. Again, I can’t recommend this place and the people more!

Stephanie not only is an outstanding groomer. She is a safe haven for Carter and Haley. Haley has some medical issues and Stephanie is so compassionate. They are absolutely gorgeous when I come and picked them up and they are so happy 💗💙

I would highly recommend you check them out. They did an amazing job with Bandit at a very fair price. The groomer was super sweet when we came in that morning, as she recognized us from the dog park 🙂. I will be returning for sure.

We took our shy gentle giant, they took the time to make him comfortable. Up unto now the only way we could get his nail's clipped was to have the vet knock him out, They were able to give him a much needed medicated bath which no one has been able to do for 2 years. We couldn't be any happier with the service we received. We are very appreciative. We highly recommend every one on staff there very knowable and caring.

They might give good haircuts but I’ll never know. We went in for our first appointment today and the vibes were bad. The lady at the front checking in was not friendly at all. No one was smiling. No one greeted Venus. They looked at her like she was a problem. She’s a 6 year old well trained German shepherd- she’s not an issue. And she’s smart and I think she sensed the tension in the air 2. Anyways she ended up not staying. If immediately on the first visit there’s not a friendly atmosphere, I’m not leaving my dog with you.

My dog is really nervous around new dogs and new people. However, the last time we took her here she did just fine. The ladies working were super caring and patient, they’re also very honest and want what’s best for your baby. I will definitely be bringing Nala here when she needs to be groomed, boarded, etc.

Dylan is awesome. Highly satisfied does not describe how I feel about the grooming experience my 3 babies received today. Not only were we recognized, but the staff was polite and helpful! My babies looking brand new. I lost my mom recently, unexpectedly and kind of slacked on their grooming. But we all needed a puck me up and they got it. Jaxson Blue, Mr. Jorge, & Jazzy Jojo are picture ready. Dylan, thank you and K9 Academy.

i called to get my dog in and they said to bring her before noon. i dropped off at 11 and went back to check on her at 2 - they hadn’t even started on her but said she was next and it would take an hour and a half. i went back at 3:45 and they still weren’t finished. i told them i would take her wet. She was mostly dry but i asked the girl to look at her nails because you could easily tell they had not been ground but she said she watched them. anyway they charged me full price despite 4.5 hours when i was instructed to be there before noon and a damp dog with long nails. Not my best experience- have been here before and it was super-?

I took my Long haired cat because he had gotten matted. I was really nervous for him because he’s an inside cat and i knew he would be terrified. Meghan took care of him and did a wonderful job! She was so sweet with him and comforting to me. ❤️

They don’t pay attention to how you request the dog be cut. They cut the dogs all the same way... if you want your dog with a shaved face, boxed ears and shaved body... you will love it... if you want anything else - you will be terribly disappointed. Your dogs appearance will be a coin toss.
