This place has been absolutely AMAZING to our crew! We own 7 dogs and 6 of them typically board when I am out of town. From the moment I stepped in for an initial tour the staff was so kind and attentive. You can tell that they actually care about your babies here. Our kids love time on the playground and field which is VERY reasonably priced to add onto boarding. We also love that we get updated pictures and videos uploaded to our profile. And the grooming team does an amazing job having our dogs clean and pretty at pick up.

We decided to train and board our 10 week old cane corso and after him we sent our 15 month husky!! It made a whole world deference, yes they were gone for 30 days and yes missed them terribly, but their whole attitude was different!! Jim and his staff are amazing and they loved our babies like we would have!! We received updates via videos and text! We now take our trained fur babies everywhere and their behavior is amazing!!! We definitely will be going back for boarding and grooming!!! I can not say enough great things about Hoffman Haus!! I recommend the to any and everyone!!! Excellent care and service all around!!!

The staff at Hoffman Haus have been the best home away from home for my dog, Nova. They take the best care of her and as a frequent traveler, it’s such a peace of mind to leave her with people I trust. They know me and they know her, greet us by name every time we walk in! Highly recommend! Don't know what we would have done without Hoffman Haus when our Yoshi was only months old. Having someone love and care for her while we were at work during those early months was invaluable. We feel like Yoshi is truly a part of the family there. When your dog jumps out of the car and eagerly runs up to the door, you know they LOVE it there! :-)

I’ve been bringing Elway here since he was a wee pup. He will be 2 in October 2024. The facility is always clean and organized. It never has a bad odor. Mine and Elway’s experience is always very positive. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I receive photos throughout his stay and it makes my day. I never worry about leaving him at Hoffman Haus. I tried another pet resort in Raleigh once, it was very disappointing. Elway and I will never stray again.

My 3.5 yr old boxer had become territorial over me and my house. She showed some signs of aggression when people she didn’t know would come by the house. After speaking with Jim, I realized that her and I both needed training. I had allowed certain behaviors that weren’t a big deal to me to make her not listen to my commands. I dropped her off at Hoffman Haus and Jim and Preston started working with her immediately. When I picked her up they spent time training me with the commands they had taught her and gave me training lessons to continue at home. She is noticeable different. She listens to me much better now. Still have more work to do on both of us (mostly me now). Great experience with Hoffman Haus and their staff. Now any new dog I get will go to them immediately. My two babies absolutely love visiting Hoffman Haus! They have only been for grooming but if we ever need to board them, I will definitely choose here. Everyone we've met so far have been awesome, but Jenna is phenomenal! My two doggies get so excited when we pull into the parking lot. It makes me happy knowing I can leave them there in safe hands with people who actually care about them as much as I do!

My dogs Boss and Bella absolutely love this place! When we drop them off I have absolutely no worries concerning their well being, They recently attended the 30day boarded training and we couldn’t be more satisfied with their progress. Preston was amazing at keeping us updated on how they were doing and that meant so much to me because I’m not used to being away from them. My dogs are 1 and 3 yr old Presa Canarios so they can be a little challenging, but the relationship that the staff has built with them is so amazing to me! I definitely recommend them for your pets!

BOARD AND TRAIN: Hoffman Haus was a good choice for training! Preston was firm yet patient with both dog and owners! After the 30 day training we worked with Preston and our dog before taking him home. The respect between Preston and our dog was amazing. Preston was also very patient with the owners. Love that we can also utilize Saturday mornings to help keep us, the humans, trained. Hoffman Haus staff members are so very friendly and loving (to owners and dog!)! Thanks Hoffman Haus staff, Jim and Preston for such great experience!

Great place for training, boarding, and grooming! The communication was top tier and kept us up to date on how our sweet little pup was doing. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning for grooming and boarding!

Staff was super friendly. Clean and orderly environment. Plenty of safe space for our little one. Training was a great help with acclimation to our home! The trainer was knowledgeable and professional not with only our pup but with educating my wife and I with how to handle our newly trained pup. I would highly recommend Hoffman Haus for all your pet care needs. From grooming and boarding to training, our experience was awesome. Thanks Jim for being our go to guy!

Ladies and Gentlemen if you are looking for a top notch business for obedience training look no further than Hoffman-Haus.I recently enrolled my 1.5yo Belgium Malinois in their obedience program. This breed is known for its high energy and intelligence. Prior to the training my dog was a bit of a handful for my wife and 10yo. (even me).After spending sometime at Hoffman-Haus with handler Preston, I returned to pick up a completely different dog. These guys worked night and day to teach my dog much needed day to day handling skills.No more, busting out of open doors (waits to be told what to do). No more tugging on the lead and pulling me around (walks at my pace, stops when I stop, turns when I turn). No more jumping up on people. It's absolutely great! Granted there is a lot of follow-up work needed to maintain these skills but these guys did a phenomenal job.I highly recommend them to anyone looking for obedience training or just to board there dog for a few days. Their customer service was second to none. They provided updates as needed during and even after the training. You can tell they actually care about their job and the service they provide to others. Big shout out to Jim for all you did and continue to do. It's really cool to watch this furmissile go!!Thanks again!!!

I’m such a nervous dog momma, and I had never boarded my fur babies before or done doggy daycare. We recently adopted a 5 month old puppy, Duke, and we wanted to socialize him right from the get-go. I knew we were going to have to board Duke in soon for a trip and I decided we would try out doggy daycare first. Man oh man did my baby love this place! I am so happy with their service and I had a TIRED puppy when we got home after pick up! We will definitely be coming back for doggy day care again!! He had the time of his life! I am 110% comfortable with this place and 10/10 recommend it to all my other fur mommas out there!

Jim and the Hoffman Haus were absolutely amazing! We adopted a dog at the end of July and decided to seek some formal obedience training. I called several places in town and from the very first contact with Jim I could tell things were different. The staff at Hoffman Haus were kind and polite and without hesitation got me connected with Jim, the trainer, right away. He called me back the same day, spent time talking to me about our puppy and our needs. He talked to me about the different training options and then offered to have us come meet him and see the facility. This also allowed him to meet our Luna. We ultimately decided to do the board and train option and could not be more pleased with the results. Jim sent me pictures, videos and kept me in the loop every step of the way. He obviously took great care of and paid close attention to our girl. He spent time at pick-up to make sure we knew what to do when we went home and has continued to be a wonderful resource for questions since she has returned. 10/10 recommend. We plan to use Hoffman House in the future for daycare and boarding when needed.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We have used good kennels in other cities, but this group is the best. They know my dogs by name and immediately remember who they are. It's so reassuring to know they love our pups just as much as we do. This is the first kennel where our dogs have seemed genuinely excited to go here; it's almost like their own little vacation. If we ever move, this place will be one of the losses we'll lament the most.

I just picked up my dog after his training with Jim and Preston. I can’t be more pleased with his results. He now knows basic commands and is walking with me. Before his training he pulled me and reacted unfavorably towards approaching dogs. Our walks now will be pleasant sand longer. I highly recommend Hoffman House for all your pet needs.

I did one-on-one dog training here. If you are skeptical of the use of prong/choke/no pull collars as I was, Jim will put you at ease. He showed me how to properly use them so I can correct my dog while still maintaining a healthy, respectful relationship with him. My dog has improved immensely in how he responds to triggers and obedience to commands. Thank you!

Great place - friendly staff, good facilities. My dog is not very friendly and I was nervous about boarding him ..... but he had a wonderful time! Particularly the exercise option. Loved getting pictures of him - put my mind at rest. Would definitely recommend - my "go to" place when I need to leave Gus Gus if I'm out of town!

My dog loves Hoffman Haus Pet Resort. At first I was worried about sending him anywhere but with the daily pictures and updates I know he’s I good hands! It’s like I’m dropping him off at a friend’s house and he can’t wait to go. Ava is the best with him and I know he’s always in good hands with her (she’s the friend that he can’t wait to see). Absolutely would recommend both Hoffman and Ava!

Fantastic experience! I adopted a 4 year old Australian cattle/hound mix earlier this year and really needed help training her the basics. She also was known to leash pull and be reactive towards other dogs during walks so I asked Jim if this was something that we could work on. My dog did the board and train program for a month. I received weekly updates with pictures and videos on her progress! When I picked her up, we went through commands she learned and the behaviors I was most worried about are next to gone! With continued training with everything Jim taught me, I’m confident Pepper will continue to excel! I also had an extenuating circumstance and could not pick up my dog on the set pick up date but Jim and his team were flexible and allowed me to pick her up when I was able to. I highly recommend Jim and his team for anyone who needs help with their dog for behavioral issues. I definitely will be back at his business for their boarding and grooming :)

My nearly 13 year old stayed with Hoffman House the past 5 days. She went outside. They sent me pictures of her having fun. I was very pleased with Penny's care. Thank y'all so much. Highly recommend.

Our mini golden doodle, Annie, just returned from a 30 day board and train at Hoffman Haus, and we could not be more happy with the training and care she received. Jim regularly sent updates about her progress, including pictures and videos. During her stay, she became ill and needed a vet visit and antibiotics. Jim and Preston took excellent care of her, even cooking her rice and chicken. They took her on field trips to practice her skills. Jim and Preston provided excellent training for my son and me when we came to pick her up. They coached us so we would feel confident when we returned home. We have some practice ahead of us, but we are so happy with how well our pup responded to the training and is now responding to us!We are especially grateful to Preston, who put in many hours with our Annie and showed her lots of love!!

I have a rescue Pitt Bull and my daughter recently rescued another Pitt. Neither dog was very well socialized when we got them. I had worked with my first dog for about a year including with another trainer. We had made some progress, but she was still reactive and sometimes aggressive with other dogs. My daughter and I each worked with Jim, sometimes seperately and sometime together. I made more progress with my dog in a month then I had made in the prior year. Both dogs are now better trained, and both my daughter and I learned how to be better trainers and handlers. I have recieved many comments from neighbors how much better behaved my dog has become. We have things to work on but we now know how. We will likely re-engage with Jim down the road after we practice at home for a while.

We decided to take the plunge and put our 5 month old corgi in training with Hoffman Haus not only for basic obedience training but mainly due to safety concerns with him sneaking out our front door without us even realizing. He was enrolled in the 4 week boarding program and we could not be more pleased! We received videos and photos of his progress throughout his stay. When we came in to pick him up we were provided thorough explanation of his learned commands and how we can implement these things at home. It is a learning process for us just as much as it is for our pup! We could tell that trainer Preston connected with our dog which made us that much more comfortable that we did the right thing and our beloved pup was in the best hands while away from us for several weeks! We have another corgi with a basic training foundation we plan to bring back for classes. We cannot thank Hoffman Haus enough!

My golden doodle Luke did the 30 day board and train program here and I couldn’t be more pleased! Preston and Jim were super helpful and knowledgeable. They sent updates along with pictures and videos. They even sent pictures of him for Halloween since he was there during this time! They both made sure we were even well trained on the commands when bringing Luke home :) I couldn’t have asked for better service for my buddy
