What is the point of dropping off your pet extremely early just for their surgery not to start until closing hours, resulting them to not even be ready for pick up by 8:30pm when we even called ahead to confirm we could head that way. We drove a couple hours for this and the lack of communication is unprofessional. And the way they returned the cat back to me was worrisome.

The folks here are amazing! They provided fast and friendly services at a fair price. It was worth the drive up from Myrtle Beach to deal with them. I will be going to them for all my future spay/neuter needs. And if you're able, please donate.

Although high volume and very crowded at the earliest arrival time, there is a good reason for it. (Very low, affordable rates!) With the high traffic, I was most impressed with how organized it was. Our 8-month-old puppy, Georgie, came out of the surgery fine, and luckily was ready over an hour earlier than the scheduled pickup time. He is healing very well after 48 hours. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for your spay/neutering needs.

If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. These people are extremely rude and are not professional. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Extremely rude personality’s so how do you think they handle your animals?My mother drove an hour away after we filled all the information out online just to have these women get in my mother’s face and talk down to her resulting in her being extremely upset and crying on the phone. When you finally can get up with these people on the phone, they are very rude when you speak to them. Absolutely horrible experience.

I took in my extremely aggressive and reactive female German shepherd and a small kitten. Even with my shepherd trying to eat everyone they worked with me. She was at the end of her heat, scared, and thought they were going to hurt her. It was bad for her but they worked with us. I couldn't say enough good things. Most vets would have been rude and hateful about her reaction but this one understood. I can't thank you enough for what you did for me. This is one step closer to getting her trained properly. Thank you.

The lines are long, so I suggest you get there early. They do a great job with the animals, I've had all my cats done here. Be mindful of the pickup time, because they don't usually call you.

Every single person i came in contact with the day my dogs got fixed were amazing!!! I’m that annoying person that asks the same questions.15 times. 15 times they all answered my questions &concerns without a single display of attitude!!! You are all absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommend!!!

EDIT: changed my review from 2 stars to 1. When they finally answer the phone, I was able to cancel my cat’s appointment, but then I was sent a reminder email for his appointment. I replied back saying how I already canceled, they reply back acknowledging and telling me basically to never come here again (which I wasn’t planning on it) THEN TODAY I get an automatic call remind me of my cats neuter appointment…. This is beyond frustrating words can’t even describe.It’s really sad for me to give such a low review, I really wanted to like this place. These people are incredibly hard to get in contact with when it comes to canceling appointments. You can call them 20 times in a row and no one will pick up, don’t even bother sending an email. While the surgery for my cat was fine and he had no problems healing…I didn’t like the fact that he was covered in his urine when I picked him up. Safe to say I will not be coming back here for my other cat.

If I could give no stars I would. I drove an hour & a half to get my dog neutered. I waited to get checked in for an hour & as soon as I walked in to talk to the vet for the pre exam, she was VERY rude to me & made me feel like I was taking inadequate care of my dog as she stated there were neurological issues & she was refusing to provide services. She refused to give me her name to file a formal complaint as the way she handled the situation was not handled respectfully. I even offered to call my vet for them to talk about their concerns with them & she refused & stated I should find a new vet if my current one had no concerns. I understand not doing the procedure due to possible concerns; however, I did not appreciate how this establishment handled the situation & spoke to me. I then call to file a formal complaint & they wouldn’t let me speak. I will be looking to file a formal complaint on their licensures.

Had my Bernedoodle spayed here today and the whole experience was great. First, it was $900 less then what my vet quoted me. Second, there is no waiting room (which I love). You show up, go in and get your pet checked in, get a pager and head back to the car to wait. There were about 13 people ahead of me and between checking in and actually dropping my pup off, it only took 20 min. They are super efficient and very friendly. Pickup was even quicker. 15 people showed up to pick up their dog at the same time and they had everyone cleared out within 20min. The staff were all super friendly and offered to help people get their dogs in the car, didn't pressure for additional services, and gave leashes to people to speed along the pick up process so customers didn't need to go back to their car to grab one. Couldn't recommend enough!

I called 3 days ago and don't know anymore than before I called. I need this precious little stray spayed along with a check up. Do I make an appt or just show up? I really am in need to make future plans for her. She has taken to me and I want more than anything to make sure she is ok.

Just bless them. I brought my cat a little over a year ago. They didnt try to upsell or anything like that at all. Simply did the procedure for pretty much nothing and did it well. Took my dog today. They showed so much care and empathy. Just go ahead and adopt tons of animals so you can visit here a lot! It only makes sense!

Came here for the low cost. Requested a nail trim alongside her spay, when reaching home and under inspection of her nails at least four were clearly showing the quick had been cut into, three of which looked more serious. Beyond upset and frustrated, cutting a dog’s nail so short HURTS them. Nails were cut to the point of BLEEDING. No method of stopping the bleeding such as the quick stop method seemed to even be used. To do it four times, is pure negligence and mean. Absolutely no excuse. Attempted to call several times from opening to the afternoon and left a voicemail. Absolutely 0 callbacks all day, as I’m writing this at 6:06 PM. I was not informed in the slightest either of her nails. How would you like several of your nails clipped more than recommended until you bleed?As someone who had spent days freaking out with worry over my pup, this is an absolute heartbreak to see done to my family.

*Updated* I changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star. This is because one of my neutered cats just died at the vet due to the illness he picked up at this clinic. The vet expressed serious concern about the cleanliness and handling of animals at this location due to the severity of the illness and the rapid decline it caused within 48hours of onset.I had two cats neutered and one cat spayed here recently (less than two weeks ago) and their pricing made it possible for me to get all three taken care of. This clinic was slammed with patients both during drop off and pick up. I wish I could give them 4 or 5 stars, but the lack of communication throughout the whole process from booking to pick up is a big issue and is probably because of them being understaffed. Additionally, all three of my cats got severely ill after being at this clinic to the point of having to take them to an emergency vet which completely negated the point of using this clinic for cost saving. This makes me seriously concerned about their sanitation processes. I feel absolutely horrible for my animals and regret taking them to this clinic.

Very rude staff. Was told the cones we brought in would not work which i was ok with. I asked if i could go buy new ones and bring them back when I picked up my dogs I was told yes. (i didnt want to buy theirs) when i got back i was told i couldnt do that if i didn't drop them off with the dogs I had no choice but to buy the ones they have. I got a call saying my dogs would be done at 2 i told them I wouldn't be able to be there right at 2 but would get there as soon as I could. I got there around 3 and was told they stopped letting you get your dogs at 2:30, I would have to wait until 4. Why couldn't they tell me that on the phone? Then when I went to pay they up charged one of my dogs saying he weighed 10lbs more then he did. When I said something they said well we had to get that number from somewhere we don't just make up numbers. We were right there when they weighed him it was the same weight we put down on the site. They re-weighed and corrected their mistake but would not apologize. Did not have a good experience at all. 2 stars only bc my dogs came home alive

Fix a friend has fixed all 4 of my animals and has been absolutely amazing! They all did tremendously well and are priced better than anyone else in town. Highly suggest them for your fixing needs. They have a vet clinic as well.

We rescued a 1 1/2 yr old French Bulldog and no health records for him were available. We took him here for his Wellness exam. Although their rates are already a lot cheaper than any local vets they were having a special for National Clear the Shelters month. We saved at least half of what our regular veterinarian would have cost. We will be scheduling him for neutering here as well.

I took my nearly two year old chocolate lab Arlo to Fix-A-Friend yesterday morning for neutering. I was first greeted by Kay, with a warm smile and helpful demeanor while I had asked several questions at check-in. Not only was the staff at Fix-A-Friend attentive and professional, but they were so kind to us both when I came in to drop him off. They were patient and understanding, reassuring me he had been in good hands (this fur mama gets a little nervous ANY time anesthesia is involved). Kim had taken Arlo back, and had even let me give her his little doggy backpack with his snacks (I was told later that Kim really loves labradors too!)When I came to pick him up, Jeanne was so helpful and informative in explaining the post-op care for Arlo. As I thanked her for what they do for our community, you could really tell how passionate she was about their mission. This Team not only provides loving, wonderful care to our Best Friends, but they believe in their purpose and take great pride in what they do.It wasn’t until we got into the car, and I had began unpacking Arlo’s backpack when I saw the sweet little homemade report card the girls had made for him! It was so precious, and now resides on our refrigerator at home. Such a thoughtful, loving staff that go the extra mile to make sure not only that these animals are given the best care, but they even take special care of the animals’ humans as well.Thank you so much, Fix-A-Friend. We will be referring you, and singing your praises, for years to come.

EDIT: after reading the other reviews buried deep dowm, I am happy that I not only got lucky the first time but have not and will not be using their services again...I don't understand how they are still in business after botching so many procedures and killing so many animals...If negative was possible, as others have said I would definitely rate that as my experience. They seemed legit the last time I used their spay services. But this time when I called and asked two questions, none of them were answered and after being fed information about the website (which I already knew of and had just came from), I was hung up on, despite trying to do the right thing by my dog and the overpopulation issue in this area. I received nothing but attitude and snobbiness. Maybe some people should rethink the field of work they think they belong in or want to be in.In addition, the website claims to only ask for a deposit which was true the last time I used their services. But this time, even though it claimed to only ask for a deposit, it tried to charge for the whole procedure right away.When I asked about why the website was charging for the whole procedure and not just the deposit, I was hung up on and promptly ignored afterwards.I use their services from 2 hrs away because even factoring in travel, it's the lowest cost spay neuter clinic around now. I question if the place is even real anymore after all this time I've not used their services or if they are--as others have mentioned--just a scam now. At best, maybe overworked and overwhelmed individuals who lack empathy. Either way, I'd be careful, not someone I'd want handling my animal based on their demeanor regardless.

Called to get more information that their website did not provide, and I was told to go on their website... Even after I expressed, I had additional questions that the website did not have information on. The lady was exceptionally rude and kept pointing me in the direction of the website, and then snarly told me, again, to look at their website if I had the ability to even access the Internet. I’m glad that I also read the reviews about individuals animals having died, post op due to infections and illnesses that they picked up at this facility. I just can’t get over how I was spoke to on the phone as a potential customer of theirs. Will not be using their services here or in the future.

I love this clinic they really are kind to the animals and it's very inexpensive! All dog and cat owners should get their animals fixed here and their shots! There's no excuse when a cheap clinic like this exists!

The prices are decent but that's about it. Lady at front desk was nice enough but the lady who took my dog treated me like I was an ahole bc I said that my dog wasn't fixed bc I might want a puppy from him later on. Then as she was walking awhile with my dog I heard he say something along the line that I don't need any more like him, I assume bc he was freaking out a bit since he was pulling away from her bc he doesn't do well around strangers plus the clinic was on the side of a busy highway and he has noise aversion. Then when she brought him back she said they had to walk him bc he had to poo, he does that when he's super anxious, didn't tell me he pooped on himself in the process. You could tell the whole time she was judging me assuming I'm a breeder just bc I haven't got him fixed yet and said I might want a puppy from him later. I figured I'd be able to go in with him to make sure he was comfortable since he stays calm with me but they wouldn't allow that and bc of that he couldn't get his microchip done bc they said he was too anxious, which is something the ask you about when you book an appointment so I figured they would be able to work with my dog but apparently not. DEFINITELY won't be bringing my dog back here for anything.

Let’s be honest guys, it is the cheapest place in this whole area by a long stretch. My regular vet cost nine times as much for my dog to be spayed.It’s a little hectic, dropping the pet off, it’s a little hectic, as is picking the pet up, but as long as you’re patient It’s worth the $700 you will save by not using Regular vet.The staff were friendly. My dog looked great when I picked her up.It’s worth coming out here.

If I could give less than 1 star I would! I booked on September 15, 2023. Paid the required $3 to neuter my kitten(thankfully it was only $3). I tried calling NUMEROUS times to verify I had an appointment(10/25/23, but no one EVER answered) I even left a voicemail leaving multiple emails and a call back number, but I never heard a peep. Since I never heard anything, I went ahead and booked with a more reputable facility. FINALLY today, two days before the “scheduled appointment”, I get an automated phone call confirming the appointment. I feel as though this place is a SCAM! they take your “deposit”, don’t answer the phone or email confirming appointments so they can “donate” your deposit($3 does add up if there are enough people). I would HIGHLY recommend to NOT waste your time(even though the price is decent). Definitely read the reviews about them(past the positive ones…they are always put first to “look good”).
