Every time I’ve been here they’ve been slow. It could be that they’re understaffed but if so, then Walgreens needs to step up and hire more help for these poor workers who have to scramble to meet everyone’s needs. I waited in a line of 11 people inside the other night and the line of cars outside was no better. No one wants to stand in line for over an hour for their much needed meds when they’re sick. I’ve been on hold for over an hour with “3 callers ahead of me.” I need this medicine and got a text it was out of stock at this location. Something as simple as getting a prescription sent somewhere else has taken far too long than it should.

Absolutely the most frustrating pharmacy experience ever!!! Always!!! Staff are rude and slower than molasses! Incorrect information is constantly given you through their online text system and you can forget calling to get clarification because they NEVER NEVER answer the phone! They do not follow through with your insurance company if prior approval is required instead they will remove the prescription from your fill request without notifying you! So, on top of all this, and more, you go there for clarification and or pickup and wait 45 minutes, or more, only to leave more frustrated because your question(s) aren’t effectively answered and all the meds you were expecting are not ready for some reason. Then the wonderful journey begins again waiting for that trusting text to come telling you your meds are ready, never mind calling with questions you have, then driving once again to the pharmacy to once again stand or sit in line for 45 minutes to only again find out something again is not right! I do not clearly understand what Walgreens pharmacy process truly is but one thing I know is it is clearly NOT working!

I rather come here (& pass ward) for a positive atmosphere, being assisted & treated as a human being. I may wait. You may find a line, but every time I make it to counter I am helped, everyone has been pleasant & helpful never rude & snarky trying to entertain coworkers by demeaning customers with disabilities.

I was on call to check if my proscription was ready and like always they had a random robot lady asking WAYY too many questions. After that I was now talking to someone who could “help” and she said she couldn’t and she was gonna hand me over to someone else. I am now on wait for abt what felt like 10 minutes. I was now talking to another person they said “what can I HELP you with” and then hung up and I know for a FACT you can’t hang that phone up by “accident” I have plenty more experiences with this Walgreens I know these people don’t know how to work. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOU JOB THEN QUIT ITS NOT THAT HARD PEOPLE

This is the sorriest excuse of a Walgreens I’ve ever experienced in my entire life! I am done wasting my time with this location’s pharmacy! The wait is always ridiculous and they never have anything in stock or fill prescriptions in a timely manner!

It is really ridiculous the amount of time it takes to pickup prescriptions inside or through the drive thru. We will be moving all of our prescriptions elsewhere. There is no reason it should take 30 minutes plus to get prescriptions with only a few cars in the line. The people at the window seem to disappear for long amounts of time with no clue what they are doing. There was only two cars here when I arrived, now there are 9+ in line and they still have not helped the first customer... I ended up waiting 40 min and enough people around me left so I was able to get out of line and leave as well. They couldn't even serve a single customer in 40 min. Unacceptable!

If I could give a zero I would! Every single time I come to this pharmacy it’s always an issue!! And a super long wait after being told it was ready the day before! So frustrating and one lady is always so rude!! Most definitely switching pharmacies!!!! RIDICULOUS

Very poor customer service. Waited on hold for the pharmacy for 30 minutes; someone picked up the phone and said they would be right with me and then proceeded to disconnect the call.

Worst customer service experience at a pharmacy ever. Prescription called in 9/16/23. Was told would be ready at 8 AM 9/17/23. 8:15 AM Prescription not ready. Went to doctors appointments and checked back at 12:15 PM 8/17/23. Associate said not ready. Check back "couple hours". Called back 2:00 PM. Not ready! Called back 4:15 PM. Not ready! Walgreens is the only pharmacy that makes this particular Prescription. Lazy pharmacy technicians!

This place doesn't deserve a star, slowest pharmacy probably in the entire state of NC. Line for the pharmacy always backed up inside doesn't matter what time of day it is. They never have your prescription filled even if you or the doctor call it in within 2 to 3 days before running out, or they make up a excuse whether its the doctor never called it in or the insurance won't cover it. Do your self a favor and go to CVS where you get better service, because clearly this location thinks it funny to watch a customer get mad because they can't get there medicine whether it is a life or death situation because they want to make excuses everytime. I never had a issue with Walgreens until I switched to this location.

On hold now 27 minutes. They pick up and put you right back on hold. Never say ANYTHING! I get it...maybe the store is busy. Never too busy that you can't say something to the caller. I've worked for a Walgreens in NYC so I know. My silly self sent my rx here out of familiarity. Never again! Their automated bot is a waste because she can never hear anything so I'm stuck waiting for these people to pick up. I don't want to make the drive with my sick kid to pick up meds that aren't ready. This is ridiculous!

called this location to find out the price of a flu shot. after an hour on hold i was hung up on. made appointment online and was advised to arrive 15 minutes early. got there 15 minutes early, waited over 10 minutes before i got to speak to someone and was to i had to wait for paperwork to print up. after another 10 minutes i walked out. great customer service, gave 1 star because no stars is not an option.

I have been on the phone going on an hour with Walgreens regarding a medication I picked up from them today. I called the local number for the Hwy 42 location (the pharmacy we use) and have never spoken with the pharmacist. This is terribly unacceptable. They keep putting me on hold, answering and then putting me back on hold without saying anything. They even hung up the call at one point and I had to call back. This is time sensitive, and they can't even let me speak to the pharmacist. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I’d give them 0 stars if was possible. This is the third time coming here for the same issue (western Union refund) I did what the manager told me to do. Called WU for a refund code, I did and I’ve been trying to get a $50 refund for the time here. Tony the manager said they don’t have the capability to do a refund but they do offer the service. Now WU said that any location would do it. This is the lastime I’ll come here!!

Lisa is the Pharmacy Technician I had the unfortunate pleasure of working with getting medicine for my elderly mother. Lisa has a hum drum attitude, SEVERE lack of customer service and item knowledge gaps. She was very pushy, rude and had a couldn't be bothered demeanor. Management needs to take a look at who they hire. There wasn't an ounce of compassion or PATIENCE with this woman. I feel bad for my mother and other patients who have to deal with someone like that to get their meds. "Are you going to get the medicine or what?" She says lol absolutely abhorrent.

Terrible customer service. 8 people waiting in line. Only 1 resister open in pharmacy. Had appt for vaccine and 20 min later I’m still in line. Why have an appt? Called to speak with manager. However they had left fir the day. Transferee to asst manager, waited 5 min on hold then disconnected

Prescription was 913 dollars. Had prescription transferred to another drug store and it was 13 dollars with a coupon card. This might be an issue with Walgreen's as a whole (why does walgreen's have worse prices than a grocery store pharmacy?) and not just this store but the experience with the hospital added on to this was not good. Honestly I just think Wilson is a 1 star town.

I have been going to this Walgreens for many years and not had any problems….until today. The drive-thru line was extremely long so I went inside to pick up my prescriptions. There were two cashiers and three people ahead of me. In the line I was in, when the cashier was done with the man in front of me, she walked off and never returned. There were five other people in the pharmacy, all close to the front, and not ONE person, in all their moving around noticed that I was waiting at the register. No one said asked if I had been helped or said they would be with me. To top it off, the cashier at the other register seemed to be taking forever with this one lady and when he was done with her, he called the guy behind me up to the register! I said I was next. He said he thought someone was helping me! Really??? I guess the other cashier who walked off on me decided she was through checking out customers when she was done with the guy in front of me. I don’t believe for one minute NOBODY saw me standing there. I was stunned and tried to give the benefit of the doubt because I normally receive great service from this pharmacy. However, I cannot see EVERYONE being that “busy” to the point of overlooking someone who is clearly waiting to be helped. That’s just b.s.

This location is the WORST! HOW for the life of me I’m trying to figure out is it still a operating location !? Unprofessional pharmacy personnel that tells consumers blatant LIES to get them off the phone or out the line. You’re told one or 3 things and find yourself returning multiple times for one ☝🏽 RX because they are LIARS! I wish I could upload this audio with the girl being caught in a lie just now and then when I pulled her card try to fix it up! Then they talk over you, get upset with the patient like we supposed to be calm because you’re giving subpar service ! Seriously this location needs to be CLOSED for good! It’s a waste and Wilson ED needs to stop sending prescriptions over there ! Send them to CVS! Walgreens is giving very much bandaid and nothing else

Very rude and impatient! If you call, they don’t ever give you time to explain anything! They talk over you and either transfer you for the next rep to hang up on you or they hang up on you themselves before saying what they have to say! They will tell you your prescription is ready in 1.5 hours( must be their default lie) and it is never ready until 3-4 hours later; sometimes later! What has happened to this place!? I transferred to them a couple of years ago and I was impressed by them for about 3 visits!..... but that went downhill quick! Smh. Please strive to do better!

The line to pick up your prescriptions runs slow but other wise Walgreens is great. They are giving out the covid vaccines that I recommend to take (at your own risk.) After the first shot I was fine but my second made me feel as if I had the flu. My head felt like it would explode(literally). I recommend going inside to pick up prescriptions because it's somewhat faster.

This pharmacy needs to get it together. U call get put on hold for 45mins then get hung up on. And every month have issues getting medicines filled, never fails. Always something. Then tell u different things each time, it will be here tomorrow so u go nxt day & its a different story then its goin be acouple more days. I mean ppl need there medicine. I dont understand how you can have that much problems filling medicine.

Wait times are terrible for phone, pharmacy, and drive thru. After being on hold for so long I was disconnected tonight which is pathetic. I have never had a quick experience, and they love partially filling medications here which is a real pain. They don't properly staff, and always only seem to have one person helping customers for the drive thru and pharmacy. I don't think I will be coming back.

If you're told it'll be a 15 minute wait grab a magazine because it'll be an hour minimum. Then when you hit the hour mark and ask hey you happen to have that ready? You know 45 minutes past the initial time? Oh we haven't started it. Every single time.

WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!! Went in about 2-3 weeks ago and purchased some makeup products and received a $10 in store coupon! I explained to the cashier that I was new to couponing at Walgreens and she explained to me how the coupon worked and told me to make sure I used it before it expired. So I go back to purchase some items for my daughter and was going to use the coupon! The same cashier was working, she took my coupon and called a manager...then the store manager came! He looked at the coupon and said “it’s a copy, we can’t take it! It’s a fake coupon! Imagine how embarrassing it was to be accused, in front of a lot of other customers, of trying to use a FAKE coupon when it was the coupon THAT I RECEIVED FROM THAT STORE! And when I stated to the cashier that she was the one who gave it to me when I purchased the makeup..she denied it and said it wasn’t her! Reported them to the corporate office because you don’t treat your customers like that!!

I thought the woman working the pharmacy window was very professional and efficient. They filled my prescription within a few hours of receiving it and it only took 5 minutes to pick up in the drive through.
