This is a destination dining spot! If you are headed down I-95 through NC, do yourself a favor and take the exit for Wilson and head to The Corner Deli. We had the Green Machine, McDeli, and the Avocado Toast. And all the coffee. Tremendous! Friendly service and great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and eat through the entire menu!Vegetarian options: There are at least three vegetarian sandwiches on the menu, clearly labeled, and the Avocado Toast was perfect for my vegan companion.

There is something unique and different about each of the sandwiches on the menu. The aren't just your normal everyday cookie cutter style offerings with the same meats and cheeses. Angelo brings his unique talent of combining flavors that together are something that is entirely better than the sum of their parts. Definitely #goodfolkn' sandwiches 🥪.

Fabulous ingredients make for fabulous food! The Mount Olive sammy was incredible and the Spinach salad with homemade blue cheese dressing was enough, but I can never pass up some collard greens. Oh my, riddled with pastrami, little heat, pure yum!!

THE WAY DELI SHOULD BE DONE. Meats are Boars head which is known for their quality, but we also found out that all the sauces are house made, even the mustard. Plus, the portions are sizable. Those things alone make it a great value for your dollar. We came in on a weds afternoon for lunch and it was a packed house, understandably so! The sandwiches we got exceeded our expectations and were PACKED with flavor. My wife got a custom sandwich and I grabbed the hometown hero sandwich. Mine had a touch of spice, which I thoroughly enjoyed (we both love spicy food) and the potato salad was fresh and light which was so good for a hot day. We recommend anyone reading this not hesitate and just check it out yourself. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, what more do you want?

The staff was very friendly. I ordered a wrap which came with no pickle, water, chips or condiments for $17. The wrap was really dry. We sat at the bar. The 2 staff members that were working that day wore no hair nets or gloves and unfortunately the lady making my friends steak and cheese Philly was licking her fingers while she was cooking then reached for a bun with that same ungloved hand in order to put the meat she had just cooked onto it.I was unable to eat after I saw that. I hate to complain but WOW! Way over priced and not following sanitation regulations…….

The staff is very friendly. We ordered the Olive and the Corned Beef for lunch take out.Meat was plentiful and flavorful but very dry. The kaiser roll on the olive was dry and crumbly. Our sandwiches were supposed to have sauce on them but it was nowhere to be found. We had to add mustard. The pickle was good.For the $30 we paid, it would have been nice to at least have some chips or a drink with it. In my opinion the two sandwiches were not worth $30. We will try dining-in next time to see if it is any better.Parking: Better know how to parallel park or you'll have to walk.

The sub was amazing, I got “The Bear” and it was delicious. I was expecting a small sub, but with a name like that I should have expected this. The staff was super friendly and atmosphere was amazing.

Four of us all super picky eaters enjoyed an eclectic selection of lunch entrees. The “Collards Melt” and “Grandmas’ Heirloom Tomato” sammies were both awesome and a uniquely splendid share for two vegetarians. The Greek Salad for one was good through to the bottom of the slanted bowl for another. “The Bear” had a hefty growl and spicy topping of “Giardienero” (coarse pickled vegs) but was not quite as sloppy as I had imagined. I think I’d prefer the nice hoagie roll heated and a bit more juice in the beef but maybe Chicago Style Beef is what it is? Pimiento Cheese and two bags of Carolina Chips were a shared side for three of us. I’m headin’ back to the Corner Deli asap !

This place is awesome! I love that it’s downtown and in a beautiful building! My Pastrami sandwich was great! The food was fresh and delicious! The staff was so sweet and friendly! This is just what Wilson needed! I would much rather put my money into a local business that has great food!

I’ll start off by saying the food was delicious. Exactly what I look for in a yummy deli style sandwich. I got the corner club. A hint of spice and yummy crispy bacon. The deviled eggs were so delicious but you only get 2 in an order. The only reason I didn’t give this place a 5 star would be the price. I understand it’s a specialty deli type place. But there are no sides included with the sandwiches (not even a bag of chips) and it was $1 for a quarter of a pickle. I think that’s a bit silly. I would think each sandwich would come with a quarter of a pickle or if you’re paying a $1 you should get a whole pickle. I know, silly complaint. Overall, I really liked it and it was great quality and good atmosphere. I would love to go back for breakfast to try the pork roll sandwich.

Our sandwiches were very good, but I was really disappointed in the way my take out order was packaged. Traditionally, deli sandwiches are served wrapped in paper. That would be a great alternative to the oversized single-use plastic containers each of my groups’ sandwiches were packaged in. Aluminum to-go containers with paper lids would have been another decent option. Paper bags versus plastic also seem like an easy and very economical switch the deli could make. I do hope the deli will reconsider its packaging. Again, the sandwiches were great, but I’d recommend folks only dine-in at this deli.

The Philly Cheese Steak sent my taste buds soaring. Delish to the nines! Angelo and Taylor Carlone have put a 6-star out of 5-star diner in a cool part of Wilson, North Carolina.The Corner Deli is a bright, cheery, extraordinarily clean and very delicious eatery open from 7AM until 7 PM. All the people are as friendly as you want them to be.Young or old, it's great food and it's only a few weeks old! You'll love it!

I only had a Bagel and cream cheese. Bagels are very good reminds me of NY.The only complaint and sanitation concern is that the cashier who handles money handles food without gloves.She proceeded to take a bagel out of the package no wash, no gloves. I asked her if that was for me and she says yes.I stopped her and the other young lady behind the counter that had gloves opened a new pack and made my bagel.This is very unsanitary.

I've been excited to visit this place, and my expectation was met x 10. For lunch, I went to Italy (in my mind) for the Italian/American. The mortadella and soppressata were buonissimo! The atmosphere had a nice eclectic and relaxing vibe. I love how downtown Wilson is beginning to feel.
