Great place! The guys working at the service department are awesome. I went there to get a small nut and bolt that holds the muffler cover on my hedge trimmer. I thought that they were probably going to have order it. They went into the shop and found what I needed. I was shocked when they only charged $.50 for it. I would’ve paid $20 for it just to keep this thing from burning my arm again.

Ron and Jimmy were very helpful and extremely nice and professional. I will definitely recommend them to anyone that’s interested in buying a lawn mower. The guy that delivered my mower and I can’t remember his name was very nice and made sure I knew how to use my mower before he left. The service that PL Woodard provides with delivering and servicing will help me and I will make sure I tell others about the excellent customer service I have received.

I'm so glad we found this place. They are very knowledgeable and the customer service is A+!! They have just about anything you need for your garden or lawn plus a ton more. Our dogs love their pig ears. I will check with them for what I need before I check a big box store.

I went there to get a steel deck 42in zero turn , end up getting a 44in. Lady at the front was very nice . She told me go right back there son. Mr. Jimmy helped me right away . Come to find out he knew/knows my dad from years ago just by my last name . While I waited for paper work and process to finish he offered water and was a just a good soul in general. When it was delivered the gentleman that came was patient as he taught me how to use it . What gas to use and get . The whole process was awesome and very time efficient and effective. Thanks to to P.L. Woodard family 🤝.

We needed Sulphur for a snake problem. They are the only place in Wilson that had it. Needless to say, we were relieved! They have a lot of items that you can't find at Lowe's or Tractor Supply. 🙂

This place is a gem. There aren't many old farm supply stores like this around any more. Tons of character and a helpful, knowledgeable staff. They have a wide selection of merchandise, from seed and fertilizer, hardware, garden tools, live traps and boots to commercial and residential lawn machines...and a service department. Locally owned and operated too.

My favorite hardware store, bar none. They have everything I would ever need, and great service at PL Woodard. The store takes me back to my childhood, when I would go to it with my daddy. The wood floors, make just the right creak, and the smells, and the floor to ceiling merchandise is just what I want to see.It is fun to see the baby chicks for sale.They also carry a great line of lawn and garden equipment, and is my husband's go to place for those things.Patty Holt

P.L. Woodard has been around for 4 generations and there's a reason why. Great products and service. This is a seed and feed store - the 'go-to' for your lawn, garden, and farm. They have a lot of things that you might not expect. Be sure to pick up some yummy molasses or real honey for your allergies. Speaking of allergies, Grandma's poison ivy soap really works: it's on the counter.

I buy both Purina and Nutrena horse feed. PL Woodard has been my grain provider for 9 years. From mini pony feed to special horse care Wellsolve and Pro Force Senior feed. They load me too.
