Good beer but damn expensive. Got an IPA and it was $8, and that is not including tax. So $8.56. Nice place but high $$$

Was in town for a short time but had a good friend recommend a tasty brew here. Was not disappointed!!! Great atmosphere and staff with a large open taproom. The outside beer garden was also vast with a food truck the night we were there. Food available also next door at the The Hub Pizzeria. Group favorites for brews included the 4 Yay Red IPA and the Bladow imperial breakfast coffee stout. Also was a big fan of the sours! Cheers!!!

Extremely disappointed with the rudeness of the people that are working behind the counter. Tried to make conversation nobody wanted to, the servers were rude. And it’s so disappointing being a Barton college alumni and spending money there to know that you’re not wanted. So my thought is coming from a business person I’d be working on your staff more than anything else. Beer was great! Attitudes were bad! And it takes a lot for me to say that!

Went for their 3rd annual Christmas trivia and as expected and cautioned, they were packed. However, the sign at the bar said that drink samples would not be available if the line contained 10 or more people to order. This is understandable as this would prolong the wait time. However, there were not 10 adults in line at the time- several adults and children but the children obviously were not ordering drinks. When I asked the bartender for one sample, she said that it was just too busy. She was short tempered with me, and while I understand it was a busy evening, I won't spend my time supporting a local business that doesn't follow procedures that they have posted as well as rude customer service.

Nice people in a fantastic location across from the Vollis Simpson Whirlygig Park. Great beer! Patrons are welcome to bring their own food. Plenty of inside and outside dining/drinking space. Beautiful building.

Very good IPA indeed... and diversity of taste and strength. The place is cool, the terrace especially. On top, the spot next to the windmill park is unique.

I went during the day around 1 pm on a Monday. The one guy working was super nice and chill. I had never been there before but they have a large drink menu up and one drink in particular stuck out and I ordered it without asking what was in it. It was "Forget about the World" smoothie sour. I got the big one. It was ..good. I guess. More bitter than sour but I tolerated it enough to drink most of it. I really like what they did with that area in downtown wilson. The building has been through alot of construction and remodeling since its last use. I think the coolest part, to me, was the open glass so you could see through into the next room where they have the massive fermentation vessels. Nice upscale style tables and chairs in the front, especially for a place that doesn't even offer food.. They have a table of free stickers/ beer labels right at the front door and also have a beer garden to the right of the building. The beer garden is decorated with half barrels full of flowering plants, alot of outdoor picnic and table style seating along with lawn chairs. They have frisbee golf and dogs are allowed. They have a cleaning station to make cleanup after your dog easy. There is a giant mural painting on the side of the building and although I was the only one there I could see the potential for fun with a crowd. They got 4 stars because when I asked about bringing my own growler, I got quoted a ridiculous price for filling it. They do not allow vaping in the building( they only serve drinks) but its cool to have dogs dropping fecal matter in the only place you are allowed to vape. My drink total was right under 20 dollars for a stout and the smoothie. Although the drinks were ok at best, they werent worth what I paid. You are essentially paying for the work they put into the remodel at this point. I went back on 9/18/22 and sang a few songs with Anthony Jones( Tony Jonez ) I got a non alcoholic cherrylimeade. I found out they have the good toilet paper (lol) and I had a blast. I was invited back for Thursday night karaoke. And ONLY NOW did I realize those tables and chairs are absolutely necessary as there were 2 food trucks parked right out front

Friendly staff, great selection of tasty, inventive beers, amazing location right beside whirligig park and a HUGE outdoor tent with tables spaced very far apart with heaters for a covid-friendly dining & drinking experience. All staff wear masks and they have masks for patrons at the front door if you forgot yours in the car. The food truck Bo’s Korean that was parked right outside is great too.

I love EVERYTHING about Casita! The beer, the artsy, comfortable and relaxed family friendly atmosphere, the outdoor beer garden and view of the Whirligig Park, the variety of daily food trucks, and their commitment to the local community and non-profits. Oh, and did I mention the beer?!? 😉 Casita is a standout in Wilson!

Showed up here an hour before closing time, just wanting a beer or two. There were two employees here that refused to serve us simply because no one had been there recently. So they decided to close the brewery… but they were still there and could have easily just poured us beer.. and gotten a tip. Ok too bad for them, we’ll never come back and spend our money here.

This is the Cheers for anxiety-ridden individuals like me and the confident locals who attend more regularly. They regularly rotate their taps with really great choices. They can their brews for a quick pint 4-pack grab.I came to the Juneteenth celebration with a date. She is gluten-free. Casita delivered. They have open mic nights, trivia nights, and they are well known for having food trucks every time they're open. They have live music regularly.I love sitting in their beer garden and watching the sun descend over the horizon behind the whirligigs made by my late friend Vollis Simpson.

Casita is a great family environment- kids are welcome in the beergarden. they have a wide variety of beer on their menu that is always changing. Especially on Tuesday during trivia!! Trivia Host Matt is the most awesome dude ever! They do a lot of community involvement with donating proceeds/tips to local non-profits.

Amazing beers and wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. The owners are the kindest people who stay incredibly involved in the community and are always giving back. They always have something fun going on and are regularly booking food trucks. We bring all of our visiting friends here.

We were visiting our family in Wilson, NC and wanted to find a place to get a nice beer. We went inside (with no expectations). We were met by Brain, who was GREAT and knowledgeable about the Beers. My sister and i ended up getting a couple of pints. I enjoyed the red ale (took a four pack home to Jersey) and the dark lager. Both were refreshing and different. My sister had a the helles lager, which she enjoyed. I will definitely be going back when I am down there again. The vibe, the drinks and the southern hospitality made it such a great place to chat and unwind.

The premiere brewery of Wilson North Carolina. I should just stop there but I can't. It's welcoming to all people, the staff is super cool and knowledgeable about the menu of beverages. Oh and it's got killer freaking karaoke on Thursdays. Im there every other Thursday singing sublime, lmao it's the best come out and see for yourselves.

There are several outstanding breweries in NC, which is great. Casita is the very best though. They are consistently creative, incredibly consistent quality-wise, and their social awareness is second to none. Finally able to make the 90 minute trip today with my wife and love the brewery even more. She's more picky then me but absolutely loved the Adventure Awaits Brown Ale. I'm happy to have converted her. Great space, wonderful beer and staff, can't wait to come back.

Love it! Lots of different beers to try on tap, even has a cider. And there's wine also. The beer Park is lovely to sit in on sunny days. They always have activities going on in this local brewery as well! And, it is right across from the whirligig Park!Plus, on the weekends, this usually one or two food trucks hanging about.

All kinda of craft beers to sample and purchase. Staff is well versed in the different kinds of beer and what they taste like. Plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with some games to play in a grassy area. They're across the street from the Whirlly Gig park and bands play live music on the stage in the park sometimes.
