WOW WOW WOW! All of the staff was super amazing and super friendly!!!! They sent pictures and videos! They loved spending time with my dog, and one of the employees even gave me a harness because mine broke?! Like what?! Kindness goes such a long way, and they have all of it! I will recommend this place to everyone that has a dog and I will absolutely be back there and that’s saying a lot because I’m very particular and don’t ever like to leave my dog but I had to and it was absolutely worth it! Thank you so much there you guys are the best keep up the amazing work!

I work next door to this place, and all you can hear when you go outside is a poor hound dog crying and howling. My coworker said sometimes they hear a lady come out and yell at them. If this doesn't seem like a place your dog gets visibly excited to go to every day, don't drag them there. You can get someone to stop in and check on them each day from a dog walking app, or try another doggy daycare.

My girls loved their time here! It was pretty pricy at the end of a 9 day stay but I've never seen my dogs more happy while they were away from home. How do I know they were happy? I got updates (report card) from the kennel while I was away. Included pictures, how their demeanor has been AND how they've been eating. Awesome facility and great staff!! **one staff member told me she loved my dog so much that she wanted to take her home!! thank you guys for taking such good care of the girls! ❤

This is a great place for bringing your fur family. I have three dogs of different ages and personalities and I feel they all leave happy and well cared for. While we were in Disney for a week, they did a great job communicating anything my dogs needed and adjusted their stay accordingly. I've been to other dog daycare facilities in this area and this is by far my favorite because they keep a close eye on the dogs while playing instead of leaving them in packs unattended. The dog rooms are nice and the cameras to keep an eye on everyone is nice as well. It's not a cheap place but you get what you pay for.

This was a wonderful facility for our dog. Every day they texted us videos and photos of how he was doing. Boarding our dog causes both my husband and I a lot of anxiety, especially because our dog has only been boarded once before. We cannot thank everyone enough at this facility. They treated our dog with so much love and respect. We will absolutely be using them in the future!

My dog loves going there. About 2 miles away he starts getting very excited, he knows where he's going They take great care for your pets whether it's for daycare or boarding.

Thank you Pet Paradise for welcoming my baby Brooklyn. It was her first time being around others dogs unleashed and her report was just what I thought ( sniffing everything , nervous, and more interested in people) A+

I have never boarded a dog before. But our usually furbaby watcher wasn’t an option. We boarded our living 98lb lab and he had the BEST time! He came home tired amd happy! We got pictures of him playing. Was so worth it amd will definitely be a returning customer!

We love Pet Paradise, and our dog does too! The staff has always been very friendly, accommodating, and wonderful to our furbaby, emailing us pictures during his lodging stays and giving us a detailed update on him when we call to see how he is doing. He is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot and runs right to the staff when we enter the door, which lets me know that he is treated extremely well. We have used their services for lodging and daycare for over 3 years now, and Pet Paradise will continue to be the only place in Wilmington we trust to take quality care of our dog!

Review has been lowered after multiple incidents. About half the time everything is good but unfortunately we have had multiple poor outings. From inexperienced groomers doing poor jobs, to our dog having to wait hours when we pay to avoid that exact thing. Most recently Chandra double booked herself and our dog waited hours for her appointment to even start. Upon picking her up, Chandra explained that we could avoid that by picking the earliest time which is ludicrous. The whole point of booking an appointment is to assure she gets cut at that time. What would even be the point of booking an appointment if it didn’t do exactly that. Instead of just admitting she made a mistake she tried to put that off on us as if thats a professional way of doing business. Again whats the point of booking an appointment if the groomer might just accept more and groom them whenever she feels. Talent wise they are good but there have been many incidents like this or where they’ve lost our appointments despite us having email confirmations. Add on the fact that the last time we reviewed them fairly after a poor outing, they texted us asking us to change the score as it reflected poorly on them just shows where their priorities are.Edit: chondra is a talented groomer it is more of a problem with pet paradise itself.Edit: after having her anal glands expressed by another groomer it is evident that she very rarely had this happen at pet paradise if at all. Choose someone else if you can.

Great staff, they really took great care of my dog while I was here for longer than expected and needed somewhere for her to get some energy out during the day.

Do NOT BOARD now! Kennel cough running thru this facility. We go there frequently and they're great. ASK if they've had cases of kennel cough as a vaccine resistant strand is going thru kennels! Our pup was vaccinated! 3 days after pickup, on 8/9/23, he had pneumonia from KC he got at Pet Paradise. He isnt around any other dogs, so i assure you it was contracted here. Vets agree. Blood transfusion by Weds. Had to put him down last night. PET PARADISE...SHUT DOWN until you Clean and SANATIZE!!! We have already called you. 8/11/23. Put your pet on antibiotics if it was there recently.

My pup loves pet paradise! She started coming here when she was just about 12 weeks old. Now when we pull up she is ready to go play with her friends. The employees know her by name and post fun pictures of her on IG!

I think the team at Pet Paradise is fantastic. I sent my dog Josie there once or twice a week for about a year or so. She loved going and was safe and well taken care of. They have video cameras so that you can check in and watch your pup. I also put my pup in for longer stays two times and she was again well taken care of and had a great time.I recently switched over to Pawville because Pet Paradise increased their rates and did away with discounts on multiple visit packs. It turned out to be a good thing because Pawville has an equal level of care, more cameras and the dogs can move freely between inside and outside settings. Pawville has discounts for buying multiple passes and that to me is the most important thing. I work from home and have an active breed dog so sometimes I need to take advantage of daycare.

My dog BellaRose has been attending Pet Paradise for months now and she always comes home happy and tired. The staff is loving and caring, and you can watch your pets while at work. Highly recommend them for all your day camp needs. We are very happy customers!! :)

This place is a complete ripoff, and also neglectful when it comes to taking care of cats. They definitely prioritize dogs over cats, which is sad, because all animals need just as much attention. $37 a night to stick a cat in a box with no interaction from staff. Our cat Cody would have been happier staying home alone than being there. The dogs get a pool and plenty of playtime, interaction, etc., meanwhile they stick the cats in one room like a prison and occasionally will let them roam around the room. Barely any toys, no scratching posts, not enough space, and staff barely engage them. Very disappointed and not at all what I had imagined. My mom doesn't like cats, and she does a better job taking care of ours. Sad. Never again.

We have two sweet babies named Daisy and Carter. They attend Day Camp three or more times a week. They absolutely love it!!! They have made so many friends. The employees treat them so well and so lovingly!!!! It always warms my heart when I see them have one of my babies on their lap for a rub and love. We recently boarded them for the first time ever. I think it was harder on me than them. They had so much fun!!! I can't give them enough stars. The place is very clean, and the dogs well watched. The floors are mopped constantly and somehow not a lot of dog hair on the floor. Wish I could say that about my house.

I would give 6/5 stars if I could. The staff there is AMAZING, especially for a helicopter parent who has 3485439 questions and is more anxious about going than my dog herself LOL.You can tell they all really care for the dogs like their own babies! It's also great they offer so many services from grooming, to boarding, half days, packages for multiple day care days, etc. I am in love with this place!!!!

Stay AWAY from this place!! My dog suffered an eye injury there and they refused to show me the video footage. Perhaps it was because of neglect or just poorly trained staff. First they told me that they didn't have the password to access their own cameras and then they called me back the next day to tell me that the camera angle doesn't show the attack. My dog's left eye is damaged and he is on medication due to their neglect and poorly trained staff. If you want to keep your pup safe, DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star but I had to give them 1 star just to leave the review

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS TO PET PARADISE IT IS DANGEROUS TO THEIR HEALTH AND WELL BEING. I typically do not leave reviews, but I am extremely unhappy with the treatment my dog received at this facility. I have an extremely friendly dog, who has never had any issues with anxiety, other dogs or people. She has been attending daycare since she was a puppy and has always loved it. I recently moved the the area and brought her here to try out this facility. This morning at 8am, I dropped my dog off at Pet Paradise and was told she passed every test with flying colors meaning she went right in to play with the others dogs. I checked the cameras periodically throughout the day and around 4pm I noticed a staff member grabbing my dog by the collar and pulling her outside, alone. Keep in mind it is 90+ degrees out with over 70% humidity. I waited a few minutes and continued to watch the camera in hopes that the staff member was just letting my dog out to use the bathroom, however after over 15 minutes of my dog being left completely alone in the heat I began calling the facility to see what was going on, only to be sent to voicemail multiple times. I then drove to the facility to pick up my dog and check on her, by the time I arrived she had been outside for 30+ minutes and was still alone and crying extremely loudly. When I went in to speak to the staff they had no clue what was going on in the facility or with my dog, and upon going to check with the attending staff they told me my dog had “storm anxiety” therefore they PUT HER OUTSIDE INTO THE STORM ALONE??????? I asked if there was an AC kennel for her to be in if she was exhibiting anxiety they said that there was and “they should have put her there”. When I finally got to see her, she was visibly dehydrated and shaken up. my dog could have easily died of heat exhaustion if I had not been watching the cameras and picked her up when I did. Please DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! I picked my 5 month old golden retriever up from boarding and when I got home I noticed that he had an entire meals worth of food left in his container and our scoop was missing. When I called and asked why my dog did not get fed the manager rudely responded “yeah it looks like we missed a meal but he got dinner and breakfast”. She also tried to tell me that we did not include a scoop. Not only was the manager rude but she never even offered any apology!! There was no mention or attempt to try and correct this situation. The manager later found the scoop and was rude about that as well. Once again- no apology. Just rude and condescending. Your management is a reflection of your employees and establishment. This place is so unprofessional and lacks morality. Dogs do not have voices- they (and we) rely on humans to take care of them. I hate to think of all the things they are failing to do when caring for our dogs there. My dog was there one day and missed a meal. So glad he wasn’t there longer! Needless to say we will NOT be bringing our baby back here.

The worst experience. My elderly dog was returned to me soaked in urine all over his stomach and legs. He never uses the bathroom inside, let alone LAY in it. I cannot imagine why this incident occurred. A few days after leaving both of my dogs starting feeling sick. They have kennel cough and now have to be separate from other dogs for 2-3 weeks. Both are at the age where kennel cough is a higher risk, one being just over 6 months old and the other 13 years old. I understand that is a risk of boarding, however neither of my dogs were allowed to play with others. The play areas should’ve been sanitized enough to prevent this spread of disease. Management was nice when I spoke with them, however nothing will make up for the terrible experience I had. Will never return and will certainly not recommend this facility.

Bella and Bear are having a wonderful time playing at Pet Paradise!! They are both so tired when we pick them up each time after playing. We just recently needed to board them for the weekend and had a grooming done and they both still smell so good a week later!! Thank you Pet Paradise for loving our fur babies so much!!

One of the few places I trust to bring my dog to be boarded. She loves it here and the staff if very attentive and caring (They know her by name). they also have live video feeds so you can watch your dog at doggy daycare if you choose to do that service. I also like how they are open on Sunday’s and allow Sunday pickups where as the other place I board her does not, so if we come back from a weekend trip we have to wait to get her until Monday but not at pet paradise! Only down side it is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for and I don’t mind paying a little more for piece of mind!

I love this place and more importantly, my dogs get excited when we pull into the parking lot! The staff is friendly, efficient and caring. They offer multiple services like grooming, bathing, swimming and I could not be happier with the care they give to my dogs. I highly recommend Melanie and her staff to provide quality care for my dogs!

Do not board here. Do not trust these people to care for your pets!I had been bringing my dog to Pet Paradise since she was a young puppy and have never had any issues until recently.Memorial Day weekend I boarded my dog and upon picking her up, she had consistent vomiting and diarrhea for multiple days and threw up an unidentified object. I took her to the vet (resulting in a $300 vet bill) where they determined she must have eaten something bad at boarding. They prescribed her medicine to take for 7 days.Since I have never had any issues with Pet Paradise, I decided it was a fluke and I would move on. I brought my dog back for boarding the next week from June 6 -10. When I dropped her off for boarding I let the front desk staff know that Waffle ate something the last time she was there and needed to be closely watched and monitored during this stay. I also let them know that she had medicine that she had to take each day. It was 8 tablets cut in half and she needed a half twice a day. The front staff listened to my concerns and ensured me they would watch her and also do the medicine.I got two report cards that week and they both said Waffle was great with no mention of issues. However the evening I picked Waffle up, at 4:30am she vomited. Much to my shock, dismay and surprise, she vomited a pink wristband that I know goes around the dog's necks at Pet Paradise. Now mind you, I have never seen Waffle in a pink wristband so I assume these were from other dogs. There was also some wrapper of some sort. I have attached pictures for your reference. How does this happen for a SECOND time after I just told them that she needed to be watched and monitored?? And how was she unsupervised long enough to eat an entire wristband?!It also shocking to me that each time I have gotten report cards and never any mention of her being sick, yet as soon as she comes home she is sick... I find it odd to believe that neither time she didn't get sick at Pet Paradise as well.To make matters worse, on Friday the 11th, pet paradise called to let me know that we still had medicine left. This was weird because she should have completed the medicine during her stay. My husband went to pick it up and there were still FOUR tablets left meaning they only gave her half of a dose instead of the full dose each day. They determined what was best for her without consulting me or my husband or listening to the vet's orders which is unacceptable.People are supposed to put their trust in you that you will keep our pets safe and unharmed. After the last two visits I am unsure I will be able to trust boarding again.I emailed the Wilmington Pet Paradise with these concerns AND the National Pet Paradise feedback line and NEVER received a response which ultimately led to me living this negative review. I have this company multiple chances to respond to me and address the issues and they chose to simply ignore me. I will never be using Pet Paradise again!

We took our 4 month old German Shepherd (Nicko) there for the week of July 9th-16th. Everyday we received a report & pictures of his stay & we must say our baby had a ball. He wasn't use to being around other people or animals & now he has new friends. I just want to Thank Pet Paradise again for taking such good care of my baby. We will definitely be using y'all again

I have been using Pet Paradise (formerly Paw Beach) for the last 3 years for my border collies. My dogs are high maintenance in terms of energy. I always have peace of mind leaving my two smartie pants in Pet Paradise's care. My dogs are amazing at sensing when they're in a good place, and they are always SO excited when we arrive, so I know they've had good experiences and are well taken care of. The facility is always clean, and the staff have always been so sweet. Yes it may be a bit more expensive going this route for dog boarding, but I -never- worry about them while I'm away. I highly recommend!
