Usually a pretty rough experience every time I enter this store, mostly because of some of the employees nasty attitudes and their genuinely not giving AF about you, what you need, or simply their job!

Freezers and cooler barely had any stock. However the issue I had was standing in line for nearly 3 mins without the cashier, who was on her phone texting, even acknowledging I was standing there. Then another employee came to help me...all while the 1st girl never looked up from her phone.

Glad the store is here so I don't have to go into town to Walmart anymore. They have most of the things I need at a decent price. Wish the manager was nice and more proud of her store. The rest of the employees are wonderful.

Manager is rude &mouthy !!! Talks about other employees right in front of customers. Other than her rest of employees are nice. Hate how you have to wait in line and wait til a cashier come off of floor to serve you if youre the only one in line. Most of the time only 1 register open even while they are busy.

Manager is very rude and talks down to certain customers and to her staff. She also acts mean with people tha ask to help them find items. Do not like going there while she is working. She has a very nasty attitude. If I see her car. I will continue riding to town.

I visited this Dollar General just before Christmas. A petite older woman broke a candle and was so upset. The cashier Chris asked I minded if she helped this woman find another candle. I was so touched by her caring, it seems that trait is so lost in the big box stores.I went back and told the manager Patricia how impressed I was. She said she only hires people who care.Kudos to this Dollar General in the tiny Hamlet of Bear Grass, NC. I will drive out of my way to shop here.

Manager Patricia is the most HORRIBLE person! Cannot understand WHY she still has a job!!! Would give ZERO if possible!! Love having a local store bit SHE NEEDS TO GO!!!!

Went in this store today and it was beyond a mess. For a new store you would think they would care about keeping it clean. It literally looks like a bomb went off in there. Boxes everywhere...trash everywhere...

You can NEVER get credit for using the DG coupons or discounts. The "discounts" NEVER get taken off of your final purchase/s. There is ALWAYS an error that occurs that will not take off the money. You have to pay full prices.
