A great place to shop for hardware, especially if you like the color BLUE! I have been into Lowe’s hardware several times, and I have never recalled having a bad experience. In fact, I like to give a special shout out to Spencer in roofing. Thank you so much for being so helpful. There are several other employees who are just as helpful as Spencer. Lowes has really grown on me. Even though it is a big corporation, it still has that small town family feel. Please keep up the great work!

Stopped in this afternoon to grab several gallons of paint for a refurb on out house. Mark in the paint department set us up with the MVP program, was extremely knowledgeable helping with paint choices, and gave us an added discount on some of the paint! Best experience I've ever had in any Lowe's store, and he's an incredible asset to the company!

This Has to be the most racist Lowe’s across the United States, we’ve been waiting for almost 3 hours to get a bunch of drywall, including a bunch of electrical items and when we thought they were getting the drywall ready for us, we’re sitting next to the phone sales line they were taking phone sales, and when we were ready. They said they couldn’t do a phone sale with us because of fraud. They were super friendly with all the white people, but then noticed a couple of Hispanics and one black man they didn’t seem like they didn’t wanna help us at. If I could give this place, no stars I would never coming back to this location

AMANDA in appliances is TOPS! She is knowledgeable about every appliance I was interested in, helpful, patient, and friendly. She also helped me find other items outside the appliance department. Amanda is a true asset for Lowe's.Also, JESSE, the Curb-side Supervisor, is to be commended for his excellent service. His friendly, courteous countenance was such a boost on this cold, cloudy morning as I picked up a dishwasher. Jesse even provided some encouraging words about my project. Thank you, Jesse!And, I appreciate JOCELYN in Customer Service in West Jefferson for her excellent assistance with an issue a couple weeks ago.My only gripe is that the Reviews would not allow me to write separate reviews for each of these excellent associates. I do hope that each of these employees will receive accolades from above.I hope this edit will be noticed. I cannot find a way to write a new review!Lowe's Garden Center is a yard and garden novice's ideal location for purchasing plants. LISA is THE expert to consult with any questions about choosing plants for whatever area and purpose you need. Her value to Lowe's needs to be duly rewarded.PAM is the ultimate sales person. Her knowledge of Lowe's products and her friendliness should be recognized and rewarded by corporate!Also, an employee whose name I did not get (but he was wearing a Yale t-shirt) was extremely helpful in helping me find what I needed.

Package says delivered nothing at nor around my house. I find out they delivered my Lowes order to a Lowe’s in another city. I see it was damaged in shipping so I call them. Ask to have it canceled so I can go to Lowes by my house to get what I needed. Customer service said they will cancel and takes 3 days. Still not canceled. I go to Lowe’s by my house and they can’t cancel so I would have to buy again and still Havnt got what I did order nor have I got refund for what they delivered to Lowe’s in another city. Guy at Lowe’s by my house said he has good news but the news was same number I already called.

Placed a 5k+ order, they took the money but won't allow me to pick up my order & my preload card clearly shows where lowes took the FULL AMOUNT for the order!!! This location sucks! Full of scammers!!!!

So after standing at the customer service line for almost 30 minutes the lady finally decided to assist me and said not in a very nice manner I might add. ” can I help you” And I intern said yes I have a pick up order and she said what’s the number and I said phone number or order number and she said “obviously the order number” and I said I’m not quite sure let me phone my mom and I will find out the number so I gave her the number and she intern says “ oh here it is she must have just put the order in” And I said yeah she did about 3 1/2 hours ago. So I just went back there and got it myself.

Ordered online for pick up. Some items were canceled. Stated "out of stock". I went into the store when I got there and picked the items in there respective areas. Would have saved time just going in with a list because I had to wait an additional 5 minutes to pick up my online order.

Gotta say, some of the workers are great, some don't need to be in customer service. I was going to spend $4,000 on a mower, but the young man decides to help 2 other people ahead of me who started looking after me and didn't buy anything and then gave me attitude because I was upset that he attended to 2 other people before me when I was there first.Your employee costed your store $4k. Also I have been in this store twice, the item I was looking for was not on the shelf, I asked an employee each time if they had anymore anywhere in the store, both times I was told no without them looking, I ordered the items both times from my phone while still in the store and magically 15 minutes later the items were ready for me to pickup at the front counter, so much for not having anymore in the store.

Fraudulent transaction from this store. Called and they hung up on me twice before anyone spoke to me. Got an associate on the line, and she couldnt tell me anything. Had to cancel my credit card.

Worker in floor tiles, young white male was extremely helpful. I give him high marks in customer services abilities. He was very helpful and I did not even have to ask for his help. Overall pleased with my visit because of him.

Lowes in Wilkesboro NC has STOLEN money from me! BEWARE--NOT A GOOD PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH---Nov. 4, 23 I bought new microwave--371519844--wrong size for cabinet--returned in box unopened on Nov 13. 23 and was told that no longer take returns and would not return my money, I actually bought 2 microwaves and was told I could return if one did not fit!, I dont even need the money but Lowes will not steal from me. I will bring civil action against them! Hide and watch!--BUY HOME DEPOT FROM NOW ON!!!

First off I am bias and openly admit I prefer home improvement stores over any other stores so forgive me if my review seems a bit over the top but I am comparing it to other home improvement stores. Tools, tools, and more tools. I love tools and this store has plenty of them. I can honestly say I have never had to walk out without whatever I went in there for. In fact, I always leave with a little something extra for me because yes darn it, I'm special and I deserve it! Lumber, water pumps, floor tiles, refrigerators, wood splitters, just to mention a few things I have gotten from there... all quality items and I have been satisfied with them all. The employees are friendly and helpful, especially Linda but I think she's attracted to me. 😀 Yep I will be back again and again and again!

John, in flooring, quickly led us to Aisle 31 to find our sink protectors. May his efficiency and customer service be rewarded! So refreshing to have someone working and helpful on a Saturday night when you want to get in and out if skiers quickly.

This is pretty much where it all started and now just a shell of what it was and became another big box store that really does not care about the customer. I remember going through 3 refrigerators being delivered that were all beat to hell or something wrong with them. I ended up ordering one online, from another company, that came from a warehouse in California and did not have a scratch on it. When I was spending $60k to rehab my house, they would deliver the worst lumber. I was assured I would get unbroken pallets. They sent the picked through lumber. This was years before covid. The Boone store was even worse. I sent about 80% of it back. I ended up going through another local company that actually made sure I got square lumber. What is interesting, I live 10 miles from Lowes and they want to charge me $80 to for delivery when I can order online from their main competitor, typically for less, and have delivery included. There is not much I buy from this store anymore that can't be found elsewhere for a better price, or online and delivered to my home. I wish Home Depot would come in the area. The closest one to me has better lumber and looks cleaner. Oh yeah, if she hasn't quit yet, get rid of the stressed out grumpy old customer service lady at the front desk. She has the worst attitude towards customers like they are the enemy. It is obvious she is burned out.

Bought appliances for the kitchen and was treated poorly. Store manager Bob was as much help as Bob the minion. Felt abused and taken advantage of. I would not shop at this store if you want customer service. Be careful buying appliances. Service is not Bob's strength. As for me, Home Depot has now gotten all my business. Thanks for showing me how bad you can be treated. Also, thank Tony assist. Manager for being so great at customer service. His service was as good as Bob's. Please management, put customer service back into this store.BTW WATCH, HOW THEY HANDLE YOUR CHARGES.

Our in-store experience was mediocre. A frumpy, but courteous salesman initiated contact by offering to help. We wanted to look first, narrow our choices, & then ask questions. Twice, we had to look for him, thereafter. He answered our few questions with limited information, not being helped at all by his handheld device. Regardless, the desired kitchen appliance was purchased. We left understanding that its delivery would be with in 3 days.The worst part of the experience was the delivery date debacle by which we were inconvenienced by having to wait an additional 5 days---on top of the first 3 already passed. There were no courtesy calls or texts to inform us about the delay. When we inquired on the day the appliance was originally expected, no explanation or apology was issued. Lowe's blamed the delivery company; the delivery company blamed Lowe's.The best part of the experience was, in fact, the actual delivery. Texts messages were sent with correct information. The men arrived slightly earlier than expected, & were professional, thorough, & quick. They identified a part which didn't fit properly & initiated a replacement to be delivered within 48 hours, without us asking. It was.When the replacement arrived, the gentleman first tried to confirm that the original part was defective. We would have preferred to simply have the parts switched out, but upon his close inspection, the defect was verified & the new part was properly installed. He, too, was professional, thorough, & quick.In-store customer service can afford to improve by attentive, knowledgeable sales associates, who are well-groomed & neatly dressed, so as not to be off-putting. In-store earns 2 stars.Delivery service can improve by initiating timely & accommodating communication regarding when the customer can correctly expect their purchase. That said, when our 2 deliveries arrived, they were conducted with professionalism, thoroughness, & expediency. Actual delivery earns 4 stars.

Only had part of items I shopped for. Cashier courteous. Thanked me for my military service. Store looked cleaner than in the past be few visits. Bolt drawers in hardware a shambles! (I always refer to these as the blue drawers.) Mixed items out of place. Total disaster for customers looking for items out of stock and out of place.

Not the chain it used to be. Hard to get any help and the ridiculous cost of box of screws is symptomatic of the dilemma big box stores find themselves. Too much useless stuff, declining value and poor service drive the buyer to the few remaining mom and pop stores out there.

There was a system issue today and a long line at the lumber checkout. None of that was an issue until cashier, Zoey sort of opened a new line and instead of asking Who's next asked the closest person how they were paying. When I checked out I said with a line and system issues folks that have been waiting in line might take it better to hear who's next. Zoey quickly let me know that they were short staffed and what really helped was for customers to not be rude or frustrated. Which I hadn't been up to that point. After I left I called back and asked to speak to a manager. I had difficulty understanding the first person but asked for their name, because I give mine and I like to address people by their name. But, she wouldn't give it to me. I asked to speak to a manager. She "transferred" me. A female answered and then hung up when I said I was waiting for a manager.Really Lowes?? We have choices.Completely unprofessional all the way around.

Customer service here is not available. Seems that most employees are there to only collect a paycheck in which they do nothing to earn. Especially the ones there after 5pm. To be the store in the county where the company originated from this is shameful.
