Visit this store once a year while at MerleFest. Always find great deals. Store always clean, organized and staff very helpful. Wish we had a Dunhams in our community.

Coupons are a joke, especially on ammunition. You can only purchase 1 (yes one) box of 1 at what they claim is a "sale" meanwhile at the competition its on sale for less with no limit and a coupon is not required . And the competition honor coupons on ammo sales too! And that 25% off coupon Dunhams give you on your receipt is also a joke because after you read the exclusions (firearms related included) all you can probably use it for is a candy bar at the register.

They don't always have the ammo I need and half the time I have to find someone for help at the gun counter but in spite of those two issues the store and employees are great.

Hard to get help in the shoe section, and they don't carry 13 W in most shoes. They also don't carry 3x shirt sizes.

Dunhams sports is a decent outdoors store, this one has a good selection of sports and sporting goods merchandise. Went in looking for a bow and arrow set for my son, they had what I was looking for and more! I also bought my other son's kayak from here as well, and have been very happy with it so far!

The employees really helped me out. My son is starting wrestling for the first time and an employee contacted his own son who's a wrestler already just to make sure I got exactly what my son needed. I appreciate that more than anything.

I shopped here for the first time last month, and will definitely be my last. The manager obviously needs to be re trained on customer service. I had to pull up the return policy on my phone to refresh his corporate training, and he still didn’t satisfy my whole purpose

The Wilkesboro location is a nice store. Easy in and out from US 421, and has plenty of parking. They carry a large selection of stock but could be a bit more organized. Staff are friendly and checked to see if I needed help finding anything. If you are looking for sporting goods or hunting supplies they will have you covered.

Great selection of most everything sporting. Prices were as expected with lots of sales. Well kept store, although I was never approached by any salespeople asking if I needed assistance. In fairness, I was there at opening. Will certainly return.

Shirts on rack were not priced correctly. Whole rack of shirts (all the same shirts) with a big sale sign on the rack was supposed to be on sale for 7.99 and they all rang up 19.99 each. They would not let me have the shirts for the price it was posted. Will not be back and the so called manager was so rude!!

best Dunham's I've visited. Good selection and good prices especially if you catch things on sale. Lots of coupons too if you have signed up for there emails. Bought a good selection of golf equipment from here and the staff was very helpful.

Dunham’s seems to cater toward more of the sports side of things then the outdoor type. Witch is fine. Price is a mix, some things you can find deals on, others seem to be on the pricy side. They do have a decent selection of firearms, but it seems like there is never anybody there to run the counter. Over all is a well rounded store. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful.

Horrible service. Store closed and locked the doors before noticing that we were even in there trying to find a sales clerk for 10 minutes for assistance. Only after locking doors and registers at 9:02 did they even bother to tell us they couldn't take our money for the items that we had found on our own. This store apparently doesn't appreciate their customers or care that they want to purchase items. Don't go!! Manager needs to teach the team that customers come first!!

Some of the policy here really makes the buying experience not so great. I was told by employees that the handguns cannot have the trigger guards removed, blocking you from testing it. The trigger is one of the most important things to test when buying a handgun. When looking at investments up to 1200 or so dollars I will not buy without getting the full experience of the whole gun.

Rude associate, Cody. Dumbells set too close to edge of shelving. When one fell, blamed my son and mocked him, rather than assist. Train your employees better, Dunham's.

I give this store a try about once a year and it is never a pleasant experience. Staff is unhelpful, managers have a very flip attitude and the prices are not great. This last attempt was the last straw and I’m more than happy to keep going to the local stores.

The store is fine and the help is fine but the bathrooms are DISGUSTING! Black rings around the toilets, smells like pee with stuff on the walls.
