Update on our Dollar general . I posted a bad review because it was horrible. I went back the other day and I have to say the new Manger there Jessica poston really is an angel she has got her crew in order and clean all the junk up and it looks and smells ten times better. Now I can go in and find what I am looking for and she has the store open when it's suppose to be open .SHE has turn this store around .

This dollar general is sooo bad..it's seems to never be open when they say they will. They have a handwritten sign that states they're open 8 to 4 but many times I've sat there at 8:25 or so..gave up and went to family dollar. They have had two aisles blocked for so long with merchandise that we can't buy anything. I peek around stuff but it's impossible to get too it. Now they are blocking off more aisles. It is so messy..today, I almost slipped on some aisle stacks that were sprawled across the floor. It's ridiculous the level of neglect in that store. Messy, empty shelves, inconsistent times of operation. It is just a minute from me and would be so convenient IF it wasn't so badly managed. It's a shame because I like Dollar General..I applaud the fact that they have expanded their dollar items(especially in light of the whole dollar tree nonsense) Can't they do something??? I know one thing if I fall in that store...I'm suing somebody...just not safe.

Went in to buy beer the other day. The price in cooler was different than what rang up at cashier and the cashier would not do a price adjustment after I showed her the price at cooler. I will not go back to this store again. Employee was rude and was told I don't care if you don't come back to this store.

Everyone has been working VERY hard the past few weeks to get this store back the way it needs to be and it really shows! It's clean and almost fully organized, you can walk down every aisle with ease because, there is no longer uboats or rolltainers on the store floor and you will ALWAYS be greeted with a smile from the employees! I hope that anyone who has left a negative review on here and that has had a bad experience at this store, will just take the time to stop in and check out the amazing and positive changes that has been made to this store! I can assure you that you won't be disappointed

Much nicer since the remodel. Larger selection of frozen and refrigerated food and fresh produce now!!! Staff is really friendly.

The aisles are completely clear, the shelves are stocked and the store is almost entirely clean and organized! They have some awesome cashiers that are always SUPER friendly and welcoming to the customers. Jessica is great!

I understand that no one wants to work right now and hours have been cut back. The problem is they aren’t even open when they say they will be. They cut their hours back to 8-4, but half the time they aren’t even open then. When they are open it’s impossible to get to anything. They leave all the stuff that needs to be stocked in the middle of all the aisle instead of leaving it in the back stockroom until they decide to stock an aisle. This place has gone so far down hill it’s not even funny.

Always a good experience at any Dollar general store I have been in so far. I love the atmosphere and the fact that they have one around every corner it seems . The staff is always helpful and friendly. It's always clean and sanitized. They have what I need and a whole lot more!!!

Great store. Only problem is that the staffed are always overworked. Upper management needs to get more people in that place. Otherwise, they always have what i need in stock, they're always polite and friendly, and you can tell that they always try to keep the store clean. Would definately recommend to anyone who needs something real fast, but doesn't want to make the trip all the way into cherokee or sylva.

the messiest ,dirty store i have been in lately ! love their decor section but last time i was there it was a mess. racks full of boxes not put on shelfs you couldnt even walk down the isles. outside in front of store is also a mess ,workers should be picking up the trash.

The guy at the register was doing good,a lady asked his name(sarcastically,I have no idea?)but,he just kept on tending to customers. And of course Christmas supplies are dwindling fast!sorry I haven't sent pictures,but my wife has had medical issues not much of a chance to take pictures for a while!

This store has made so much progress and improvement over the past few weeks. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. It is so great to see the shelves full again with products.

Dollar General is a great place to get many different items in one trip! Smaller than a Walmart or Target chain but just as competitive in prices if not better! They offer several isles of $1 products that are very useful on everyday use in your home. I love shopping here for good cleaning supplies.

The shelves are never stocked and those that are will be cluttered with mixed items that won't belong there. The manager here is hateful, offer acting too busy to help you or answer a question. Mostly you'll find her on a smoke break or in the front office. Other than her, you can hardly ever find another employee, which probably is the reason the manager is so crabby. Overall, it would be best to steer clear of this store and shop elsewhere. A longer drive will be worth it.

The store is located off Hwy 74 Exit # 74 It's the gateway inside the smokey Mtns.How can anyone say the staff isn't well trained and Very friendly ??? Anytime I've been inside the store is always in a clean proper manner unless some people can't wait to throw around things. Complaints for minimum wage staff saying they don't seem to always be happy !!! I think some people just like to Complain.I have always had good things to say even if I didn't feel like it.Thanks guys for all you do !!!

Never know when they are going to be open. Even with posted reduced hours they are closed somedays and dont ever open. Shelves are empty and missing items, while there are boxes of stock all over the store you have to walk around to try to get to anything.

The store is over run with Ucarts to merchandise with to the point it's getting difficult to shop there. I wish DG would open a desperately needed DG Market in this area - we have enough population to sustain another grocery store (and having been a regular shopper at the Murfreesboro Rd DG Market shopper we would love the convenience of not habing to drive 30 miles one way to Wal-Mart).

Stopped here for emergency shopping on Thanksgiving day. Got everything I needed in one stop. Cashier was friendly and helpful, very pleasant attitude even working on a holiday!

Nice store, plenty of inventory. We found everything we wanted and then some. Can't beat the prices. We would shop there again! Be sure to say hi to Bumpie too :p

They carry the basics in a wide variety of products from household cleaning to groceries to crafts & stationery. Great place to pick up a quick item you are short of
