Love Gurganus farm store. They have a good selection of feed, healthy baby chicks, and lots of animal supplies!! Wish they had more Mallards during the summer as they sell out so quick.

One of my favorite places in town. U can get anything feed related for ur 4 legged and 2 legged critters. They r the only place that sells Coker feeds which is NC based! U can get garden plants and anything needed for making that a healthy garden and all the extras. Right now they even have baby chicks and a great variety!!

I stood in this store for 15 minutes listening to an employee talk about hamsters that they don't even sell. I asked the lady for some help and she said "I'll be with you in a moment " then kept on talking about hamsters. After 5 more minutes i decided to leave. No plans on ever going back.

I went and the lady I spoke with was very unprofessional and ended up not helping me with what I needed. I have went a time or two in the past and the experience has always been pleasant but this time was the complete opposite. I ended up leaving and just decided that I would not shop there again.

Very nice Country store in Whiteville. Lots of seeds, plants and Farm planting supplies. Deer Corn, Dog Food, Kennels and other supplies. Worth a Visit! 👍

Totally Local; pandemic-proof economic solidarity displayed! The long-established GURGANUS Store - having endured it's own challenges since the second millennium ended - raised the 'local economic bar' when they housed select product offerings of another local business amidst the standing pandemic while they circumnavigated business-related odds. If a proprietary can exemplify that idealic social experiment of having "...all things common...", then doubtless such an one deserves acknowledgements, accolades, affirmation, kudos, and such like.The institutional consumer citizenry at large, namely, the broad (and tirelessly-diligent) healthcare constituency; agriculture co-operatives; the inherent education system of the tangible affirmers of equity and justice; the economic systems, et al, experienced no small benefit by this and a myriad of other collaborations that were realised, pandemic notwithstanding.Doubtless, the staff are not lifeless robots: they are just like any one of us; what happened IN the decision-makers of Gurganus was demonstrated BY the decision-makers. So, Go! Take with you words, and call on their knowledge and provoke understanding. Ask questions. Exhange questions.Give feedback. Get feedback. (Pun NOT intended, but it's certainly Hollerin' mighty loud!!!)
