Was denied the day before off a reservation I planned weeks ago. I reserved again when I got home at 1 am I was called that morning to be told they are short on cars call back later to check in. I check in around 1pm was told they do have cars. When I got there it was 4 to 5 cars on lot. But was denied because employees was waiting to see if other people came to get cars. I sat and waiting no one came to get cars but I was still told I had to wait to see if others came. I came back later that day and as I thought it was multiple cars still in lot. This was the second time enterprise has denied me a car discriminating me because I’m a young black male. Do not rent from this place worse company.

Reserved a mini van several weeks in advance and confirmed my rental 4 days before pickup. Went to pick up rental at my appointment time, only to find out that I didn't have a rental. Was offered a 5 passenger compact SUV when I told the agent I needed a 7 passenger vehicle. End up canceling my trip. Does no good to make a reservation at this location. Poor customer service and bad management. Not the way business should be conducted.

Made online reservations in Whiteville NC on a minivan for vacation and everything went smooth. Great customer service when we picked vehicle up. Was in and out of office fairly quick. Had the car for a week, came back and drop it off and didnt have any issues. Young lady called me after we returned to see how our vacation was and to make sure van did okay. Only problem was the van had a pet smell from previous customer i assume. Nothing an air freshener couldnt fix. Will be booking again next vacation!!

Great service and great cars every time I rent. Highly recommend. Edit 03/19/2024. Rented a one way rental for a very special trip. Had issues with my rental after my pick up place was closed. Customer Service took my call, handled my issue. Drop off location was wonderful, and Enterprise refunded the full cost. I have been using Enterprise for over 5 years now. I will not stop.

Vehicle I chose was not ready at my scheduled arrival it was not done being serviced but that was no biggy the staff upgraded me to a brand new and bigger vehicle with all the bells & whistles.The staff I delt with were exceptional!👍👍

I reserved my rental the night before pickup. The vehicle was clean and ready when I arrived. Customer service was AWESOME 👌❤️ I was in and out in under 30 mins when I picked the vehicle up, and when I returned it.

Having difficulty getting them to get me a rental that state farm can pay for completely. I'm having to pay an extra 5.64 a day on the rental they gave me unfortunately & told they have virtually no auto that doesn't charge that per day. On fixed income can't afford them but we have no more rental companies around our town unfortunately. I don't think I should be having to pay on any rental but I have to have a way of going. Sad.

The worker with the red hair needs to find a new job he was rude he called me names and I hope there is disciplinary action for this behavior. He claimed he acted that way because he’s tired because he has a new born. This is unacceptable he also wouldn’t give his name when asked I am very disappointed and I hope to hear this is resolved.

It should be no stars. 15 passenger vans are unavailable due to a recall across the country. Ok cool. The day before I was to pick my vehicle up is when they called me to tell me the bad news. Less than 24hrs mind you I made the reservation 3 weeks ago. They wanted to charge me for 2 mini vans to accommodate my group. Almost triple of what I originally looked at spending. No thank you enterprise you suck. Plus I had to call back 3 times to actually talk to a live person after being on hold twice for over 10 minutes per call. Not to mention the calls where they didn't even answer the phone period. I'll just drive my own van from now on. Keep it!

Our Enterprise Rent-A-Car store is wonderful! The staff is fabulous. It would even greater if this location would be a little bigger. It's the only one we have in Whiteville which is the county seat for the surrounding towns. The staff is unmatched. I'm always satisfied with their service.

I have rented twice from this location. Once they get around to you they provide very good service. They apparently choose to remain understaffed. Both times I have rented there has been an "emergency" causing the office to be locked and unattended during posted business hours at my appointment time. Coincidence? Perhaps. Still unacceptable.

You can reserve a car online and pick it up at another date and time. The process is smooth and easy. They do place a $200 deposit on top of the total cost to rent the vehicle, but that deposit is returned to you once you return the vehicle. They do not take checks.

I usually have a great experience with Enterprise, but that wasn't the case this time. It was also a different location than normal, so I will just go back to the original one I use. And NEVER use Priceline to rent from Enterprise! They do not communicate and one doesn't know what the other one is doing.

staff was very friendly and helpful. i hit a deer and lost my car so my insurance sent me to enterprise. at first they didn't have any compact cars so they gave me a new dodge van. it was very roomy. they called me to come and exchange the van for a smaller vehicle when they got the chance to a few days later at no charge. i then got a 2019 chevy malibu which was very smooth. im going to return it in the morning. i definitely recommend this enterprise for renting vehicles. thanks so much enterprise staff! I reserved a vehicle and the amount of the rental should have been $55+. I was told that vehicle was not available and I would have to get another one for $69+. I always thought if the vehicle I reserved was not available, I would be allowed to get what was available for the price of the one I had reserved.I called customer service and explained what had happened and asked if I was wrong about the amount I should have been charged, he said it would depend on the conversation I had with the person I spoke with and the policies of the local office.I also spoke with family and friends and they had a similar experience but they had been allowed to rent the vehicle that was available for the amount of the one they had reserved. I thought everyone should be treated the same. I will have to reconsider who I rent from.I like the vehicles but not the way transactions are handled.

This place is terrible I will Never use them again. I arrived to find no car available . I scheduled am to pick up a 2pm. Some how they had me in the system for Monday I explained that I scheduled for pick up today at 2pm. The woman rep at this location neve apologized for my inconvenience in my opinion they need to hire new staff or close the doors my experience there was repulsive . Will neve r use them again.

My girlfriend had a reservation and we get there the next day and there were no vehicles ready. This location is not busy. People were on their personal phones and we had to wait for vehicles to be cleaned. Also they only had two vehicles available none of them were suitable for what we needed to do. So we have to take what they have and take it to lumberton tomorrow to get something better. Whitevilles location will get no more of my business

Called Monday morning and they said they didn't have anything available. Told me that they would have some in Monday afternoon and they would call me when they received some. Never received a call and called in but no answer. Tuesday morning called and they said they didn't have anything, said they would at lunch time. Called at lunch time and they said would have some this afternoon. Just called at lunch and they still don't have anything, told me they would this afternoon and also said they would call again...smh... A rental car company with no vehicles to rent for 48 hrs straight...This is with a reservation through insurance as well...Don't waste your time here, find a good rental car company instead...

I made reservations to rent a truck today, did not take the truck when I rented it did not need it till the next day so I went and picked it up around 430 / 5 Saturday. I'm getting the truck because I need to move some furniture and the trailer I have has a 2 and 5/16 this truck does not have a reese hitch but it has a factory bumper with a hole for a ball. So I go and put the ball I have in it and it will not work the holes too small in the bumper. So I drive to Walmart tractor supply AutoZone O'Reilly's in advance nobody has a ball that will work in this bumper. I take the truck back to Enterprise call one eight hundred number so I can talk to somebody cuz the store is closed now. I speak with the lady explain to her what's going on if they could find me another truck and Myrtle Beach at the airport or Wilmington and I would actually drive an hour just to go make this happen because I have plans to move furniture on Sunday. I asked her should I sit there in the parking lot and wait she said it would only take around 10 minutes 15 for her to talk to her supervisor and get back with me. I'll wait there over 2 hours with no phone call extremely disappointed in Enterprise handle me like this. lake at least called and said no we can't find you nothing once I know that's a lie the airport full of vehicles. They have the nerve not even to call let me know nothing here it is 10 Saturday night and I still haven't heard from Enterprise. If I have to pay for this truck. I didn't even use I will be extremely mad and I will make sure I let people on Facebook Twitter know how Enterprise took care of me I'm extremely disappointed and I hope to hear from Enterprise

Rented minivan for trip, got there to get van and it was horrible in the inside,not cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned guy drove it back to cleaning bay , brought it back & it looked the same. We told him we have rented from other Enterprises & never had this experience. He stated its the location & they dont have the supplies to clean it.. My belief is no matter the location you all represent Enterprise as a whole. We asked for another van & it was horrible as well my husband said I will pay for someone to clean it because my wife has to travel back in this van after surgery. He paid a carwash $30 to detail Enterprise van & they were shocked at what it looked like. Just poor customer service & we waited 45mins in total for a 12 reservation because of dirty vans & not able to find keys but you need a degree to work for them, really! I will not be renting from Whiteville location anymore.

Ordered a luxury SUV to carry 7 people on trip to Disney World. They gave me a Tahoe that no way was able to carry 7 people and luggage. They had a 15 passenger van that they substituted and gave me to use. It worked perfect. All was well. Had a good trip.

I was told AFTER I turned in my 1 day car rental that there was a $60 fee to turn it in to another location. She apologized for not "mentioning" it before or adding it to my contract when we had an entire conversation about the drop off location. So I basically paid $150 for a rental I had less than 24 hours.

I made an online reservation a day before pick up, when I got to enterprise they informed me that they didn't have any cars to rent out at that time. Apparently the other cars that were rented had not returned and I was told that it may be an hour and a half before they would ha e a car returned for me to rent and that they would call me if something came in! I asked them why they didn't call me and inform me of the issue before I drove there and the guy said because they were expecting a return that didn't come thru. A total waste of my time and gas!!!

THE WORST EXPERIENCEI booked A 15 passenger van on Monday April 2nd at 10:00am on the phone through the Conway, SC location for Whiteville, NC for 5pm and changed the time online to 8am April 3rd at 10:23am got a confirmation number and all. And we had to do Whiteville, NC 45 mins from Conway, SC where I am. And then they called me at 5:15pm on April 2nd saying we couldn't get the van. So then I called back and they only had one in Williamington, NC for us to get this morning April 3rd, 30 mins further. Then I got a phone call this morning at 8am that Williamington, NC did not have the van that we reserved.We need a large van to go to Texas for my mother's funeral. I have been contacted by the region manager of NC at 11 am April 3rd, stating they found one at camp Lejeune. Pending when they can get it to at least Whiteville, NC because he can't bring it to SC. I was happy I thought this was handled. I just got word that it won't be in Whiteville, NC until 5:45pm. Some of my family could have went to work and saved a vacation day. My brothers are both in the military and have limited time off we did not need the added stress.I'm hurting about our loss and this stress is making things even harder.Thank you Enterprise for the added headache.

Experience good, I would have given 5 star but car could have been cleaner, it wasn't terrible but if you have different people renting a vehicle just make sure it's cleaned out and wiped down good....And a smile goes a long way when it comes to customer service...
