Every time I come to dollar tree at this location the employees are RUDE. attuides &' straight just RUDE. line backed up to back of store with one cashier. Sadly this is the only one close to us in distance but unless it's stuff I need urgently I drive to shallotte. Wish it was better because I love dollar tree 😭

This is by far the worst Dollar Tree I've been to in NC. Since 2019, it hasn't had any improvements like I've seen in other places. One of the conveyors still hasn't been fixed or replaced. They have a better selection in other areas.But this one is always being held together with Dollar Tree duct tape and bubble gum. I left a message with corporate a few months ago, no surprise my message wasn't replied to. If I want to find a better selection of merchandise, my best bet is to go to Wilmington, Leland, or Shallotte. If I have to go other places specifically for the things I want, I might as well get it from somewhere else because the price point doubles or triples depending on how far I drive. And the roof isn't leaking for now, but I don't trust it at all. The floor will be full of DT buckets of water from the faulty infrastructure.

Love it ! Love it! The Dollar Tree in Whiteville has a little bit of this and that. They have tons of party decorations, including balloons .They also have small toys, snacks, silk flowers, and cleaning supplies, just to name a few. I've even gotten several pair of reading glasses there. At just one dollar, you can not go wrong. Make sure and drop by. It will be well worth your time. Highly recommend!

I honestly don't even want to give them one star but had to in order to do a review. This store is absolutely DISGUSTING. It is filthy and there is hardly any stock. What is there is all in the middle of the aisles and not on the shelf. The roof leaks and there are buckets all over. I don't think there has ever been any cleaning going on and the employees are just as bad as the store. They are either outside smoking or talking or standing at register talking to each other, or walking around on the phone. No work is being done. The lines are long and there is normally only one register open. I am truly DISGUSTED with this store and on occasion drive almost an hour to Wilmington to go to a decent one. I have made three phone calls to the corporate office but can not even speak to a live person. I have left message after message but still have yet to get a return call. Don't got here if you can go to another store. It is truly DISGUSTING.

Cashier didn't want to tell me what ilse a item I asked about was on. She stayed on the phone the whole time Il was in line. She was very unprofessional. I don't ever want her help again.

This has got to be the worst store in Columbus County. The manager is the worst manager I have ever seen, so there's no wonder the turn over rate for employees there is high! She does ABSOLUTELY nothing for that store. You'll see one register open, one cashier, line a mile long and the manager standing their talking and laughing or out side smoking. Instead of highering 10 people a week, hire a manager worth working for! Oh and it's absolutely filthy in there too!

Three workers in there standing at the front and doing nothing but talking when there is a line full of customers and one register open. Then said they were going to open another register and the girl walked over to open it up. So I walked over to it and she told me to go back to the other line. So then I had to get back in the original line that I was in and wait an extra 15 minutes at the back of the line. She then waited 2 minutes after I got back in the original line and then told other customers that they could come get in her line after I had already been waiting a long time and was waiting first. Very unhappy.

Store is so nasty. Don't look like it even been cleaned. Stuff all in walk way. Always long lanes only worker. The others always outside smoking or hide in back. They also move like A Slot animals. Plus roof pouring rain get more wet inside then outside. NEED ALOT OF WORK BEFORE I EVER GO BACJ.

The cashier was doing the best he could. You need to view your security footage for August 28 9:30 to possibly 11:am. Customers were lined up all the way to the back of the store. Only 1 cashier. The most complaints I have ever heard. Just to find out your other employee was in the store somewhere. Not good for your business. I plan to shop some where else

I like shopping here since everything is cheap but it adds up quickly if your not careful lol There is a large variety of items in the store. They have an isle that is $3 and $5 dollars and you can find some decent deals.

Great Store and really great people, love the variety. Store is a little messy but with the volume the store does its ok if it is nasty. Love the slow line, all they have is one line open, with all the employees outside, but hey that is ok , i get to visit with my friends while i wait and i love it cause my kids are on the toy isles having a ball. So take all your friends and their kids and let all have a great time at dollar tree They now have helium in they are ready for your balloon orders, just call and order or do it online. You get to make all kind of friends , your in the line so long. Easier to shop at night less chance of trip on stuff in the isles, kids , merchandise, you no usual items in the floor Great card selection, get your candy card and balloons . This is really a great store., Looks like toy isle is better stocked , more toys for kids to play with, bring them in. This is the store for kids..Make friends while you wait in there single line that is open Oh and if you cant get some one , just knock on the office and they will come out , they really appreciate it.

The store is too small for all the stuff they have! You can't even get down the isles because of boxes of merchandise everywhere! Their stock room is full to the ceiling & wall to wall! They have boxes stacked in front of the shelves and customers can't even get to the merchandise on the shelves!They need to expand the store to make more room! ...or they could just move in the empty store next door which has a lot more room! I'd love to see them expand, and have enough room and shelves to actually put more of the merchandise out!!! (They have tons of merchandise that is never going to be sold because it all stays boxed up with no room to stock the shelves!) There is usually a line of people waiting to checkout with only one checkout line open.(also: I do not think anyone in a wheel chair would be able to shop here, I'm not even sure they'd be able to get in the door.)

There are many things to choose from.at Dollar Tree and most are just $1. I especially like the plates and cups selection cause it allows me to buy those items cheaply that are really nice and will last as long or longer than more expensive brands.The store here in Whiteville has a freezer section as well, which helps folks with smaller incomes stretch their money.The staff is very nice and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked too.

Dollar Tree awesome as usual! Still has everything one dollar. They have some cute Halloween things right now. I got carried away, getting a variety of pens for school. All of them are great!

This is a nice clean place. Their selection of goods are basic "tried and true" everyday items, not many of the new Dollar Tree items I'm accustomed to seeing in bigger DT stores. Overall its a nice, organized store with friendly morning staff (I only go in the mornings)

I sit there 2 hours for an oil change. They had only one technician on duty and he was helping a man with tires. When a tech came in around 9:50 he questioned whose Honda is that you are holding up the line . I didnt work there I had no control over the line not moving. He had other negative things to say I want mention at this time.I am very disappointed in there service. Prayerfully it will get better for the next customers that goes there.

This store is ridiculously disgusting!! Poor management!!! Boxes stacked everywhere, full buggies of boxes down isles to where customers can't get down them.. everything is out of place!! Dirty floors!! Just a few short months ago I thought this store really had it together now it's devastating to walk in the doors and see such!! Can't never find what I'm needing the shelves are unorganized..please get it together Dollar tree!! What has happened to our store!! Need new management and stockers that care!!!

The ONLY REASON that I gave this Dollar Tree Store one star is so I could write a review. TODAY... a worker called THREE POLICE CARS ON STRAIGHT A BLACK SWEET AND POLITE TEENAGE GIRLS FOR THINKING THEY WERE STEALING ONE PAIR OF EYELASHES FOR $1.25!!!! I AM BEYOND LIVID!!! IF THIS IS WHAT WHITEVILLE IS ABOUT, THINGS HAVE GOT TO CHANGE!!! They will be hearing from me and ALL my family who are upstanding, influential, and GOD'S CHILDREN of Whiteville NC. No apology was given, at best, when they found NOTHING, of course. I will be getting the name of the worker/manager and owners. That worker who called will be dealt with accordingly. You get NO STARS, but a prayer and God's Will to be done.

Love the Dollar Tree have been shopping there for 8 yrs. But the Whiteville, NC store is very unclean and the restroom is deplorable. If you tell the so called Manager he ignores you. I will not be going in this store anymore. This is sad as it's close to my home. The cold food cases are as dirty as the floors in the whole store. Monday I will be calling the health Dept. In Columbus County.

Just a average dollar tree no better or worst then most others. I went there for the Wiley Wallaby Black Licorice, (which is fantastic) and the coconut water. They had both. The clerk was charming.

This store is beyond un safe there's always boxes blocking isle that can't get down its never neat or clean bathrooms are always nasty ..an the manger eddy is very rude an disrespectful ..this store needs help .Its not eye candy clean an very out of place .. Store help is very friendly but the store is a mess . They never have anything ,shelves are always empty .There is boxes and carts pilled everywhere half the time you can't get to the shelf . I got to where if I need something I drive 45 mins away to sc to those Dollar Trees

The selection in crafting is very poor. Would expect a greater crafting supply as there is no craft stores within an hour of this town. So much for Dollar Tree Crafting for my craft group.

If you buy something and do not need, you cannot get a refund. You have to exchange even if you have your receipt but you have to fill out name and address. Will not be shopping there again. Personnel are not friendly.
