Not happy: I have been in this store several times. Most of the time I was waited on with customer friendly store employees. The last 4 to 6 months it has changed. I have had someone ring me up with my credit card and flip the sign over to cash only at the register. Meaning the register worked. The employees just do not want to ring no one else up. Making other customers think the machines are broke. Forcing them to use the self checkout. Today was the thing that broke me from your general dollar stores. WELL AT LEAST the one on 777 Creeks Hwy Whiteville NC 28472. 3 employees on cigarettes' break. I do not thing any store clerks were in the store. I looked down most isles and not a lot to stock on shelves. Both registers state cash only and only self check out was optional. I want to know why you can not get the registers fixed? Which I personally do not believe they are broken. 3 clerks. No service, unless it is for cash employees. Don't get me wrong, I am pro cash environment. But I am also pro customer service. Which is not happening at this store. I am not pro self check out. PLEASE FIX THE REGISTERS.

I think it's ridiculous y'all building all these stores.. when you can't afford to keep them clean, you can't afford to hire cashiers or stockers and the people you do hire act like they don't want to do anything because "hey you got self check out over there".. the loyal customers to do have deseeve better customer service and we will drive the distance to our stores to get better attitudes

These employees do it all, unload trucks, stock shelves and run the register. Sometimes in the evening there is only one employee working. They always have a smile and don't mind shooting the breeze.
