I think the CVS in Whiteville, NC does a great job every time. They have hospitable workers. Finally, they don’t take long to fill your prescription order.

I was doing a Roadie, and once I arrived at CVS the pharmacy was closed. Very unprofessional for a business that services the public. CVS has a 1 hour closed lunch break. Please do better.

Worst pharmacy in Columbus County and the worst CVS I have ever been to within the states of NC and SC. I could write a book about the horror stories I've had with this CVS. Just a few: I called to ask a simple question about a prescription and I was on hold for 63 minutes without anyone ever picking up. I continued to hold and drove to the store to find a pharmacist and two techs just standing with nobody in line and nobody at drive thru. I stood down an aisle for another 10 minutes while on hold and watched nobody ever attempt to get the phone! This is the normal for them though at any given time you will never get them to pick up the phone in less than 30 minutes. I became upset and approached the pharmacist to ask for the phone number to complain and the tech tells me the 1-800 number is hanging on the wall in a hateful tone and proceeds to say you can call it but it doesn't help anything. Second of many incidents: After surgery a prescription was sent over from my surgeon. After calling to verify it was there I was told to give them few hours to fill it. My husband went to pick it up at 5:00 and was told, "Oh we are out of that medicine and we can't transfer it to another pharmacy!". I had to go without the medication until the middle of next day because they didn't have it and didn't bother to let me know until my doctor office was closed. Imagine shoulder surgery without anything to help you 12 hours after the surgery!! Needless to say me and my family will NEVER be back to get our scripts filled here. Update: I've been trying to get the transfer done properly for 4 days and it still isn't done! I've contacted the district manager and left several messages....no response! I've called CVS Headquarters and filed a complaint and was told a team would be checking up on it and I would get a call back....still no call back. I guess when you don't have the proper management you can't expect the employees to be any better! Stay away from this CVS! I travel for a living and have been to many other CVS stores in NC and SC and never hold for more than 2-4 minutes and my scripts are always ready within 1-2 hours after the prescriber sends them over...not days and weeks later!

This CVS location does not meet the high quality of customer service that is expected from the CVS brand.My experience on Friday was terrible. I arrived at 12:30 and was told my prescription would be ready in 1 1/2 hours. I returned at 5 p.m. and my prescription still was not not completed. I waited another hour and 15 minutes until my prescription was filledThis CVS location is severely understaffed. The employees are overwhelmed with incoming prescriptions that are 4 to 5 days behind and getting completed. This staffing issue affects both employees and customers.Want to experience the staffing issue first hand, try calling the pharmacy. That will be at least 30 minutes until you speak to someone.This situation can only improve by contacting CVS corporation customer service.This review does not reflect the employees working under these deplorable conditions. They manage to smile and are friendly. They do the best they can.

Great service, kind and professional. I am a HCW and needed my COVID 19 booster and flu shot. They were so helpful and I was able to get vaccinated and on my way. The best CVS store I’ve ever been to- definitely recommend.

Do Not Use This Pharmacy!! Period. If your insurance gives you another option, use the alternative. If your insurance restricts you to CVS and you live in the Whiteville area, complain to your insurance provider that this pharmacy is unacceptable. Waiting for pharmacy to answer a phone for over 33 minutes, I gave up. This is not an isolated incident, but instead my usual experience with this location. I can never get a pharmacy call answered. Going to store in person (since I cannot get a person to answer, and after driving 20 minutes to get there) the pharmacy staff and the manager just made excuses. No apologies or solutions were offered. “It’s just the way it is here”. Need I say anything further?

They are out of stock when you need your prescription. They wait for days before they fill your prescription even if they have it in stocks. And people don't want to work there. They always quit.

I went to CVS - whiteville 2 Saturdays ago to get my meds & other items and get to the door ( locked ) no one in sight no note on the door so I knock on the door because there are cars in the parking lot and the lights are on. this is 2 hour's prior to closing. I turn to walk to my car a staff member come to the door let out a young lady I know ,lock the door back with no explanation therefore the young lady coming out say they don't have enough workers & are closing ..first of all I know you saw me standing there ,2nd you could have posted a note & 3 rd you were just rude the way you handled it. Most importantly I had meds to get & I had coupons to use in the store. Do better front line .

This pharmacy ALWAYS has ridiculous wait times at the drive through and they never EVER answer their phone. Even as I type this review, I’ve been listening to hold music for over 20 minutes. It has always been this way for the entire 2.5 years I’ve lived here in Whiteville. Don’t waste your time. Switching providers as soon as possible! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I walked into this store (a little frantic) as my small dog had just been stung by a bumblebee. I was searching for liquid Children’s Benadryl. Anna, pharmacist, assisted me quickly to show me where this product was as well as droppers. Then Ginger kindly assisted in helping me self-pay as I was in a rush to get the Benadryl for my dog.KUDOS to Anna and Ginger at store #7570! 🤩My dog is feeling better.

I have been trying to call the CVS Pharmacy for a week and wait for 45 min and no answer so I hang up... very frustrating! I have been out of town with a sick mother and trying to get a hold on her medications. I call my daughter at an independent pharmacy and the phone pick up is quick. Go INDEPENDENT PHARMACY!!!

Absolutely horrible service. Machine that prints out coupons was down. I asked the clerk to print out my coupons and was told she couldn't. So I picked out my items to purchase and asked her to ring up the cheap one and see if I had CVS bucks. She rang it up and she told me again I didn't have anything. So I purchased everything and after I paid for it of course my 9.00 in CVS bucks printed out. So I asked her to do a return and then run my CVS bucks. She told me she couldn't do that. I told her we were going to try. So in between her blowing and puffing she did a return on my 2 items and then used my CVS bucks I only had to pay 2.00 versus 11.00. I was kind enough to let a lady behind me in line go before I had her to do the return. There was a employee of CVS that jumped in line before me. Very rude all the way around.

Always have to wait at drive thru never get anyone on phone and going inside isn't much better. 1 car ahead of me been sitting here for over 10 minutes and car ahead still hasn't been helped. Our insurance company makes us get certain medicine from here.

1 star for customer service. Went thru drive thru to pick up Rx left day before. Arrived at 9:11 am finally checked out at 9:18 am . The PTech was obviously not trained in customer relations because there were no smiles, nor friendly greeting. It was as though I was a bother. Maybe this is a reflection of management. Will probably be moving Rx to a local pharmacy. Sorry.

Kyle , the manager at the Whiteville location was very unprofessional and rude. When asked for assistance to check out he responded as if I was wasting his time and made no effort to try to help. Very arrogant and snotty acting. The lady that did check me out was friendly. Will not shop there again. Kyle needs to do better or take management courses. Get rid of him!!
