We were referred to the ED after a visit to a local Urgent Care facility. Christy in triage got us back super fast. She was friendly. Beth, Kenneth and Joanne were very helpful in gathering the patient information and were extremely compassionate. Mike England was very knowledgeable in treating the condition. At the conclusion of the visit, we were given the information regarding follow-up. I appreciate the clear directions and was pleased with the care we received.

I received excellent care. The emergency staff, Dr. Smith , Beth RN and Hope RN was very compassionate about my care. The nursing assistants checked on me and made sure I was comfortable or if my needs were met. I was admitted to the 6th floor where my excellent care was continued. As my night shift nurse Carly made me feel like she was glad to take care of me. Then my day shift nurse Kylie kept up with the excellent care until I was discharged. Thanks for taking excellent care of me Columbus Regional hospital.

Beth the charge nurse really stepped up for me today and my nurse Stephanie!!!! Dr chambers as always listened to me .. heard me and helped me. Today’s experience was top of the line. I truly appreciate these 3 people today. Because I thought I was going crazy to be honest. But we found the reason for the pain and told me what to do and that I was going to be in pain for a few days but that’s to be expected with my issue. Thank you all so so very much!!!!!

During my life, I have been blessed to have rarely needed emergency medical care. However this past Saturday, I went to CRHS ED because my heart rate was 180-220. I was immediately placed in a bed, had an EKG, and given medicine to convert my heart rhythm. I could not have asked for better care. I sincerely thank Dr. Smith, Courtenay, and Will for taking amazing care of me. I also thank all the ED staff including Anna (phlebotomist), Tammy, and Ken.

My family and I cannot enough wonderful things about my Mom's stay, after surgery!EVERYONE we came in contact with was so kind, attentive and helpful! Mom was treated on the 3rd floor and we couldn't be happier with the care she recieved.Third Floor ROCKS! Thank you all for everything!♥️

Had a great experience at Columbus Regional ER! From start to finish, first class! Mrs Susie in admissions ensured we got to the right location. Our nurses - Garon & Christy were very nice, attentive, & informative.Beth, the supervising RN, is the best I have ever encountered at any hospital. It was evident she cared.Alisha in ultrasound was great too! She was efficient, patient, and very thorough.Appreciate the staff’s help this afternoon!

I recently gave birth to my son and had surgery. Everyone on the 3rd floor family birthing center was great! The care I received was top notch! They were very patient and thorough. I felt more like I was in a Hilton suite than a hospital stay. Room was spacious and clean. I have to say this is the only hospital that gives new parents a celebration dinner. Complete with ribeye steaks and sparkling grape juice in champagne flutes 😳 it was definitely the best hospital stay I've ever had.

Had two scheduled appointments in the Imaging Department this morning. Was greeted with kindness throughout the process! Shelia handles patients with extreme patience! She made me comfortable even when the the procedure was uncomfortable! She creates a calming demeanor with her professionalism. Terry was very accommodating and led me through the ultrasound process with kid gloves. Even when we, as patients, dread certain procedures, it's always nice to have reassurance from dedicated professionals!

I’m can tell you in a 22 year long nursing career how this facility was bestowed the title that even implies it is a hospital capable of providing any magnitude of standard healthcare at all alludes me. When you initiate stroke protocol and yet do not have a radiology department available after 5 pm for an MRI to provide the essential tools to monitor stroke protocol- and no neurologist on site to monitor this patient. You are a danger to your community on every level

Going to the hospital with twins is never what you want but the staff in the ED made the trip bearable! Dr. Avi Leib, Nikki, Hope, Beth, Kayla, and Chris were amazing. They were very personable, attentive, and provided a level of excellence and professional that brings me peace of mind knowing that’s the type of staff that’s taking care of us at this hospital.

If I could give 100 stars I would. Khadijah C, A. Payne PA, Beth and Joanne were absolutely amazing with my four year old son. They were patient and so incredibly sweet with him, making him feel comfortable and relaxed. These women were incredible through and through.

My daughter was seen in the ED when she fell during pregnancy. The staff on the 3rd floor and ED were awesome in taking care of my daughter assuring us that both mom and baby were fine, mom only suffered a bad bruise on her shin. I had Nissen Fundoplication surgery here and Dr. Greco was excellent at providing all the necessary information I needed and answered every question I had. The hospital stay was great as well. They took great care of my family and myself!

January 2 I come in for a psych evaluation and the second I walked through the door, they literally laughed in my face, called me a liar, saying that I was attention seeking, told me I needed a med change. I told them that they don’t know me, my story, my history, or anything about me. They brought me to a room and an older nurse walked by and saw my stuff and said “this is a hospital, not a hotel.” I told her to get the hell away from me. I waited 3.5 hours to see a doctor. I told him how I was judged and treated when I first walked through the door and that I really needed help because I was having really bad thoughts. He apologized and he said “from here on out, I’ll make sure you’re being taken seriously, and he did. The therapist who evaluated me over the phone was extremely helpful and compassionate.They asked me if I wanted to tell anyone that I was there if they called. So I gave them my fiancés name and my sisters name. They both called to see if I was there and the staff told them both that I wasn’t there and they’ve never heard of me. Why ask if you’re not going to follow through?! I will NEVER come back here!!

My child was seen at 3am in the ER by Dr Chambers after hours of battling an asthma attack with no relief from his treatments. After being told his lungs were clear, & given one dose of oral steroid (no prescription sent for home) we were sent home with discharge papers diagnosed as treating a fever. Upon coming home & seeing him worsen, I rushed him to New Hanover ER for the doctor there to immediately find he has pneumonia. The amount of neglect that goes on here with respiratory problems that I see & hear of is absolutely unacceptable. Thank God I know enough to know when something isn’t right & the poor children who go home with parents believing their child is ok, is pathetic.

I could say names of Drs (hospitalists) but I won't. I can say that if you are lied to call that person out. What happened to the days when beds were changed daily l, clean linens were given & real bed bathes? Cleanliness should be a Priority in a hospital due to pathogens spreading causing illnesses. All these fast track micromanaged things are nice to have but not good enough if all the new technology is causing these types of issues in a hospital and or company owned Dr offices.

Got the best care here and literally so fast a dog bit my 3year old i was beyond worried but the nursing staff here were so caring and helpful thank u ladys so much from the davis family .. Too christy,hope,beth,judi,meredith, Dr.smith, m.keengland and miss kisa. Thank you all and god bless

I've been sitting here for 4 hours now. Came in at 9:30am. Lobby has since filled up but no one has been helped. I was told 3 hours ago I'd be fast tracked. This hospital is so slack!! Don't come here for an emergency!

Went into emergency room. Staff ate McDonald’s, drank milkshakes , laughed and played. Very unprofessional. This is the reason we try to avoid coming here. Been here for 3 hours and not a single person has went back

my doctor was good but his association with this hospital is a mistake the patient care is the worse I spent 2 nights there and no lien change had to ask to have it changed, had the wrong food sent after a major surgery, could not sleep at all with all the noise outside my room even with my door closed. i could go on but I'd never go back even if it was for a emergency!

I've been here multiple times. There are times you get back fast. Others like today. I've been here sense 5 pm. And it's four hours later. Having issues with my colon and in severe pain. And nope. All they have done is come take my blood, and do rsv covid test. My daughter who is 2 months so congested and running a fever and so legarthy. Still making us sit for hours and hours. If they are this backed up. Why not have Dr's come out and start doing something to help us sitting here in pain? Like they did with covid. They don't listen. Receptionist ALWAYS has an attuide. McLeod is an hour away just like novant. McLeod doesn't take my insurance but I promise you. Next time me and my kids will make the extra drive then sit here ! Because this is not " quality care!!"

Don’t bring anyone sick to this hospital they will practically kill the patient. They don’t give a damn about the elderly they are know for acting like they will care for elderly patients but other doctors in areas around this hospital know they try to kill them. These doctors should have their medical license revoked and this place should be taken over by medical staff that will actually give a damn.

I was scheduled for a MRI today, I waited in exray I not know how long get up there then they said we don't do MRI's people with a pacemaker and defibrillator because they said they didn't have a cardiology Dr. in the hospital for that. I know it was a lie because in the ER before heart trouble a cardiologist came in said he was the hospital cardiologist Dr. That hospital just doesn't care about you but there are some very people there. That why on the street it's called the death hospital. GOD BLESS you if you have to go there. 🙏

The outpatient program is run like a well oiled machine. The nurses and Doctors where beyond helpful and nice. I felt so comfortable with my procedure.Highly recommend Dr McCarthy and this hospital 🙏

I really liked my doctor and my wife liked hers, but the billing is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. To the point that my wife and I have found new doctors. I have been sent to collection for bills that I have paid through my HSA. The bills never stop coming and the collection went on for a long time.I have never seen anything like it, payments posted to incorrect accounts, payments not applied at all. This has turned into a part time job for me and quite a source of frustration.This was not a one time thing, over and over again.I hate to post reviews like this, but you need to know.

I recently had GYN robotic surgery at CRHS and it was amazing. From the moment I walked in the doors to ASU to the moment I was discharged from the 3rd floor, everyone was kind, attentive, and very thorough. It's been 6 weeks now and I am doing great! *****

I am concerned that individual's personal information were stolen. According to CRHS they discovered unauthorized access to their network occurred between May 19, 2023 and May 21,2023. Individuals just received this information Jan.19, 2024. I'm concerned about our senior citizen not aware and or can't complete the long process that is required for to the complete to protect their identity. Several individuals thought it was a bill and didn't open. CRHS said they posted on their website and shared with newspaper and WECT. Not enough! Please revisit getting information out to the people. This is serious! Our life!

Went here for kidney stones & when I arrived there was 1 person in the E.R so they were pretty quick to get me a scan & register me. After that point I was sent bck to the waiting room where I sat for 3 hrs & watched it fill up. I never received any results for my scan or heard from anyone. At that point I left still in pain & decided to go to another facility. One women came in & was in alot of pain & eventually I saw her laying on a blanket on the floor of yhe the E.R. didn't seem the people I came in contact with really cared about the patients just there to get a paycheck. The worst hospital I've ever been & would NOT recommend this place to anyone! Especially if your in serious condition
