My daughters love coming here and have even spent their own money buying things. Lots or high end outdoor activity items from kayaks to water bottles and all types of shoes to fishing shirts. You might find less expensive options but this is certainly a go-to for most everything shop!

Nov 11 Veterans Day. Stopped at the outlet store. Tried on a pair of Keen Targee 3 wp men’s hikers. Priced at $175.00. Always wanted a pair and at 50% off thought it was fair. Peeled off the price sticker when I got home. Price underneath was $149. Looked on line. Can be purchased from $99 -$122. Won’t be buying anymore in their store. That’s NOT how you treat customers. And by the way. I’m not a tourist!

They have more nicer clothes in one store, then every store at the,Shops on the parkway combined.The nicest clothes that last forever! I found 4 items there today at a great price! I found 1 Columbia sweat shirt at SOP my favorite store by far !

My family and I visited Mountain Outfitters this past weekend. The store was cozy and they had lots of cute items.The main reason I wanted to write a review was to applaud the employees here -- all the young ladies working were incredibly kind and knowledgable about their items [what was in stock, in what sizes etc]. ALSO they're dog friendly so it was nice to be able to take my dog in to get out of the windy winter weather for a few.

Has a small, family-owned type of store and I loved it! Loved the atmosphere but most importantly they had a good variety of boots, jackets, shirts, pants, hats and stickers for sale.

If you Google search “tackle shop” in the area, this is the first result. We should have called ahead, but there is NO fishing gear in this store. And when we asked the woman working there where we could go to find some, she said there was “no place in town”. My husband thought that was weird and said, “nowhere?” She was insistent, and rude about it. We left, and a guy in the parking lot told us to drive a mile away to Walmart, which had a great tackle selection.

Friendly staff and lots of interesting things to look at. Always sales, but if you’re buying North Face or Patagonia it’s pricey. We stop in every time we’re in town.

I’m a local and I’ve shopped here three times… Worst customer service ever! They don’t even acknowledge your presence as a customer in their store. Totally ignore you…and the female owner/manager is always grumpy and rude. Can’t wait for Footsloggers to open and put this poser tourist trap out of business.

Friendly staff and big selection for the smaller space. They have camping gear and footwear as well as several yeti options. There is even a little mini basketball game inside similar to the hook the loop game.
