I love this store, and had a great shopping experience here today. Everything thing looks so fresh and store was clean. I want to give a shout out to Damon in the Deli side for his pleasant attitude, and him loving to do his job well. The fries were delicious. Keep doing what you do. You are appreciated.

This is my favorite supermarket. It has everything I like. The bakery has all these different types of breads. If you love crunchy warm bread like I do, get some of the cubano bread or the small rolls. Overall all the bread is delicious. The deli has some amazing meats like capicolla, sweet deli ham and peppenero ham if you like the hot stuff. Great variety of cheeses also. It has everything else you need, even the unfindable Sriracha sauce.

We are from FL, but recently moved to a state with no publix. So, when visiting a friend in NC, we had to stop for a pubsub. They were delicious, and the quality was what was expected. The deli team seemed stressed and let it show. Their attitudes toward customers seemed blunt and exasperated. The area was clean, and the staff was efficient otherwise.

It gets four solid stars for service, availability of items I need and quality. I like the hot food service set up in this Publix and the chefs are quick. I gave the additional star for location. It’s the closest grocery store to me and so having all my food needs priced well is important because I am willing to drive further for my needs but am glad I don’t have to.

I am very disillusioned with Publix Wendell Fall. I heard how the Publix manager spoke to a worker in a derogatory manner and he did nothing to defend himself for like 4 days. She thinks she's the boss and doesn't tell and is abusing her position. such good customer service to have but the Cuban manager mistreats them.

I've heard that Publix has really good sub sandwiches so I stopped in to grab one for lunch while in the area. They were not wrong. I got the cordon bleu sandwich and it was incredible. This might be my new go-to sandwich place. Don't let the fact it's in a grocery store fool you!

Just had one of the best and friendliest grocery experiences at this Publix. Meat department went out of their way to give me 3 perfectly cut steaks and rack of ribs, because they didn’t have what I was looking for pre packaged. The fellow handing out samples was incredibly friendly to my little boy and went very out of his way to help us find a specialty food item all the way across the store. Cashier and checkout were also so nice. Have never thought of leaving a review for a grocery store before, but these guys deserve it.

It’s Publix, of course they’re a great super market where it’s convenient that they’re fully stocked and will have everything you need that’s slightly more expensive than a regular grocery store.That’s not my problem here. It’s with the got damn deli. Jesus this deli is utter trash. Time and time again I’m disappointed. This deli in comparison to the one in wake Forest is night and day. Wake Forest deli is a 20/10, this Wendell location deli is a 1/10. I’ll just commute to WK for a solid sandwich that has everything you need for the damn sandwich.

First time coming to this location and I must say the staff at the sub area lack customer skills and were completely rude with the exception of Aaron who was a lovely gentleman. The older woman and short male with longer slicked back hair seemed annoyed to assist me. The first time I tried to order the shorter gentleman literally walked away from me as I was giving my order mid sentence and their overall demeanor was quite poor. If you don't like dealing with people than you shouldn't work in a customer facing position. I'd like to also add thier behavior towards Caucasian customers was quite different.

So over priced. Need to be rich to shop here. Love their subs but they are always out of things. And always seems to be short staffed. If you order online might take a hour to get it. Get them workers working hard on the line some help.

Best grocery store in the area! Very clean and merchandised pristinely! Great selection of products and the staff is delightfully helpful. They have an eating area upstairs and outside. They have a pharmacy with a convenient drive thru and great parking with lots of lighting. Easily accessible from I-87 and downtown Wendell. Highly recommend!

I had 1 issue with the seafood department. It was 4 minutes left before they opened, and the employee was rude when I stated 4 minutes is not long and he was just standing around. He apparently didn't want to help me.

I love love this Publix, but I ordered a custom Bluey cake for a friend on the Publix website two days before I saw her, and honestly I should have known better. I know it’s going to taste great but the colors are so harsh! The border for one is bright yellow not orange to match Bingo. There is also some icing missing on the sides of the cake and the yellow confetti curl sitting underneath the red Happy Birthday writing (I asked for it in black btw), was probably the most disappointing thing about it. I’ve ordered plenty of custom cakes from Publix over the years and they have never let me down before! This was supposed to be my apology cake for forgetting one of my best friend’s birthdays and now I got to apologize twice. So I am writing this review just as a warning if you’re going to order a custom cake, I recommend giving yourself plenty of time, go into the store and talk to the baker instead of ordering it online.

First time shopping here. Everything is fresh on fruits and vegan as well as meats and seafood. Its also well organized and clean. Staff is kind and friendly. Definitely coming back to shop here more often. Forget walmart and food lion lol.

Michelle was extremely disrespectful and rude to both me and the employee at the cash register. Entirely unprofessional and unwarranted, this should be looked at because they definitely will not have my service until this issue is resolved. I wish the employees the best and that Publix will look into this issue.

First time in Publix and I must say I'm very impressed, from the fresh food options, to the customer service this trip to the grocery store was one of my best experiences, I love not only do they sell hot food, but they give you a place to enjoy it with the indoor and outdoor sitting areas, I'm not sure about others but grocery shopping makes me hungry and if I enter in hungry I buy the most junk, and forget I'm trying to have netter eating habits, so being able to sit and eat is a plus for me lol, I can't wait to dig into this fresh key lime pie, a lady passing buy the bakery said it was amazing. I love the beer and wine section gives a variety of options as well, this coconut cake is something I've never seen sold in stores, cant wait to try this...Needless to say I'll be back because it's so close to my homeAnd no matter how many times I come to publix, I find something new and being an herbalist I was so excited to find mushroom elixir and different flavors of kumbucha anything that promotes gut health is truly an go for me...

HUGE thank you to Cathy in the bakery! We are pregnant with our first baby and the gender blood test came in tonight. We wanted to reveal the gender using cupcakes filled with either pink or blue, and came in around 6 to see if they could make special cupcakes. Cathy was so sweet and accommodating, and had the cupcakes ready for us in 10 minutes! We are thrilled to have a baby GIRL! 💗💗💗

This publix has quality control issues they can’t seem to get on top of. Every time I shop here there are expired products - sometimes multiple months old - on the shelves. I just went to open a brand new pack of yogurt I bought yesterday and it expired 10 days ago. They also often will charge higher prices at checkout than on the shelves and I’ve caught that multiple times too. Their subs are very hit or miss but most of the time a miss. Ingredients are often out and even when we order 30 minutes ahead most of the time when we show up the employees are just standing there and haven’t even started our order. Compared to other Publix stores I’ve been to, this one is very disappointing

Prices are very exorbitant on most of their product even compared to Harris Teeter at Flowers Plantation. However, they have a bountiful supply on hand. Specialty area: subs, plates, prepared foods is awesome. I like this store because it is well stocked, clean and no rif raf around. Food Loon has a better produce dept.

What can I say, I love Publix! The service here is always phenomenal! People are so friendly and attentive! I normally order my groceries and pick them up curbside, and sometimes go inside the store to do a leisure shop! No matter the nature of my visit, it's always a pleasant one! I love the fact that things are done fresh here on a daily basis!The sushi here is amazing - if you can catch the people in to serve it to you! Just in case you didn't know, on Wednesdays you get sushi cheaper! But you have to be in the store before 7:00 p.m. If I was to change anything, it would be the fact that the Asian Bistro servers aren't available until the stores closed! It kind of sucks that you can't go in at any time of the day to get sushi! But all in all, Publix never disappoints! They can be a little pricey at times, but they also honor coupons so make sure you clip away and take some along with you for your visit!My daughter loves going here for her steamed crab legs! They are always so amazing! If you have not visited a Publix make sure you do so soon! You won't be disappointed!

Very "wal-mart"ish check out experience. Extremely unsatisfied with the disingenuous service. I get that the old days of value =service are gone, but this place seems to want to make sure there is no doubt. They'll overcharge and underperfordm and expect us to like it. You probably drove past Lowe's on your way here. Turn around and go back there.

The times I have been here everyone has been very kind and helpful. I love how clean and tidy the store is ; I typically stop here if u need something for last minute or something dándome that I need for example a lint roller. As some people have mentioned The prices are a little higher but the quality and customer service is great. In the mornings all day good morning with a good attitude. There’s not a time I’ve had a bad experience here.
