I'm never shopping here again. I shop at this store often but after this time never again. Why would they leave someone who's only worked 2 days in the store by themselves? Especially when they don't know how to correct prices that are wrong and can't do returns. She finally calls the manager after 15 mins and the manager was also quite rude to me. This place is a joke, the management is super unprofessional. And the store is always cluttered and dirty.

We've been frequenting this DG for ages and always have a wonderful experience! On this day particularly I had an unfortunate situation and the ladies working were so kind and helped me out when they didn't need to. I appreciate the kindness they showed me so much! If you're reading this, thank you ladies so much! I'd highly recommend this store.

Place is in a dark parking lot. It’s dirty and unorganized. We only went because we ate dinner next store. As we were going to the check out the cashier walked right by us going the other way. She said nothing.... nothing. Not “be right back” or greeted us or acknowledged us. Came back shortly and began ringing up our items. Still no greeting. She did wish a good night as we were leaving but didn’t change our experience. Glad this is not my regular store.

I was looking everywhere to fill up 3 balloons and called here, the girls working where extremely nice and helped me so much! I really appreciate the time they took to help me blow up the hello kitty balloons I brought so my daughters first birthday was great! She loved the balloons 🎈 😍

Our local Dollar Genrrsl is consistently well stocked and clean. I am disabled so it's important that things are always in the same place. Almost everything is available in a major brand as well as the house brand. The house brands that I have tried so far are good quality.I am able to get almost everything I need at my small Dollar General store and only have to go to a big grocery store seldom.To top it off, the employees are helpful and kind.Wanted to let you know how much your store means to me. Forgot to mention the prices are so reasonable. I am a senior do it helps me manage my funds.

Friendly staff, lots if cheaper priced items than grocery store or Wal-Mart. Cashier was even helping customer put balloon bouquet together with his scissors and such. But stopped to check me out. That's customer service

Went into the store Saturday 8/18 seen some storage containers under a table on clearance as soon as you walk into the store picked up some bc they had yellow stickers for 3.75 to check out and seen some more over off to the side sitting bu the face cleaners. Picked them up as well. Went to check out. Cashier says oh you get these totes over here? Pointing to the area of the face cleaners. I said just this pink one. She replies oh these aren't for sale. I put it back where I found it. Get the ones from under the table for 3.75 and leave. Tonight I go back to drop off a redbox movie at 8:50pm 8/19/18 go back into the store the same table with the light blue table clothes is still up with clearance items. More 3.75 bins underneath of it grab them and go to the checkout. They ring 7.50 I pointed to the tags in yellow that say 3.75. The cashier goes to the office I'm assuming managers office to notify the manager. Comes back out quickly and tells me they are 7.50. Why does the sticker on all of them show 3.75? I walked away put them back on under the table snapped a picture of the products and will be notifying cooperate of this location and the bbb.

Went at 9:07 Sunday night just to get a fan because it gets hot in my house and we need a extra fan for our newborn. Walked up to the door and was rudly told they we're closed, when asked why i was told to strip the floors. My wife, overseeing the conversation from the car rolled down the window and asked me why they weren't open and a man rudly yelled we're closed! At her. Very dissipointed all I wanted was to run in and out. Why remodle during open hours, foodlion even remodeled while open so I don't understand, and don't appreciate the attitude towards a customer! Very unprofessional.

Great place to pick up a few things when you don't want a trip to the grocery store. Good place to find a gift when your in a hurry.

All around the outside, of the Wendell DG, is very littered most if the time. Boxes that have blown out of the bins, papers and other trash is very unsightly! The employees are kind and friendly and helpful when they are needed, but; the general public can be slobs! The little hedges are also unsightly. Some are dead. Some have been backed over by trucks.Other than that I enjoy shopping at the Wendell, NC Dollar General. It's very convenient to walk to!

The cashier acted like she didn't even want to be at work, and it seemed like I bothered her when I was ready to check out. I won't be going in her line ever again.

Got what I was looking for, also got to hear the staff interactions throughout the store. Found out the public bathrooms are out of service, to the public ( thank you food Lion ). But I got what I was looking for at a reasonable price.

You get what they have to give. A very tight store , not wheelchair friendly and the seem to run out of advertised items but, friendly staff at reasonable prices.

I can see why these are out in the middle of nowhere. You can find reasonably priced items like a Walmart or big lots including cold groceries.
