Usually don't post less than a 5 star review. Limited options..no donuts for a thank you gift for some first responder staff nearby. The deli staff of 2 women that day were not friendly. Must be due to limited grocery store options in the area.They do have milk bread and eggs. Check out staff were friendly.

Ms. Nakia Singletary has no business serving in the role of Customer Service associate at Food Lion or any other store. I have reported her to Corporate Headquarters. Unfortunately, because she is a minority, she'll probably just keep getting promoted. She did not have the decency (or the courage) to repeat her "mutterings" to my face.Muttering under your breath that I return everything I buy is not only disrespectful, it's also very rude. I spend about $500 a month at that store. So I don't think it's a crime if I occasionally make a return. But you, Ms. Singletary, you chose to make it yourbusiness to be unkind, disrespectful, rude and discriminatory.

As of October 2023, if you want to cash a business check, you have to put in your social security number (which I did even before October) but I was told that they would not cash it. The gentleman gave me my check back and a receipt. He said they couldn’t cash it but he told me to call the phone number and I will be told why I was declined. I called the recording told me that “I was considered a risk” and that is why. They must now be checking our credit report before cashing checks. The problem I have is I never gave them permission to look at my credit report. Looking into if this is legal.

Where I do the majority of my food shopping. Clean stores is a major plus for me. Friendly helpful people working there. If you can not find what you're looking for, they don't just tell you, they escort you to the right place.

The selection of food is great and it's your typical Food Lion but the one manager, I'm not sure of his name, is a real piece of work. A bigger white guy, my girlfriend was being threatened by a man in the parking lot when I wasnt around and she asked him if she could stay in the building to call the cops and he wouldnt let her and told her to get out for no real reason besides shes seen her hang out with an ex employee he didnt get along with.

I got there 5 kin before closing at 10:55, they had the doors locked and refused to open the door. I just needed a gallon of milk and a pizza for my 4 kids, I had immediately gotten off work and headed to Food Lion. I had enough time, they just don't uphold their hours of operation. Not cool 👎

This is my go to grocery in Lexington. Very clean store and helpful people. Never a long wait and I can always find what's for dinner. Great sales, rebates and coupons for the frugal. Shelves are well stocked and produce, meat and 🍢 great selection. Not lyin' it's the best.

It's a really clean store. Every employee that I've talked to has been super helpful and nice to me. The location of the store is great too, as there's plenty of other businesses around it, including a McDonalds. It's not too far from the highway and they generally have pretty well stocked shelves with lots of deals and really fair prices. I definitely recommend this grocery store to everyone!

Shopping was easy at 8pm. Not many people out this new years eve. They were stocked with most things that I saw.Easy shopping at 945pm in September. Got groceries and checked out in less than 10 minutes and everything I needed was stocked.

The food lion closest to me is having a BOGO free sale on my favorite ice cream. That ice cream is also ridiculously overpriced. So when I saw that sale, I wanted to stock up on them. Someone in this area must like them as much as I do, because unfortunately for me, they were all gone. So I called this food lion, asked if they had the same sale and if they did if they had the flavor I like. The person I spoke to said yes and the flavor I like was stocked full. So I got really excited and drove 20 minutes to come out to this food lion.When I got there, they did have the sale but they only had three containers of my ice cream. I was obviously pretty mad about this. The person who told me they had a bunch tried to say that someone must have came and bought the rest. Which I highly doubt. I mean is my luck that bad that someone just came and bought all of them in that short amount of time?Obviously I was angry about driving out there for only three of them, but I got over it. Until I got home and noticed that one of those three was already freaking opened! So now I’m going to have to drive to a different food lion, that actually has the same freaking flavor, and trade it out! Now I’m really really mad. This whole entire experience has been absolutely awful. Why can’t I just get a deal on something as simple as ice cream?! Why can’t the items I get be in tact and not already opened?! Thanks food lion for wasting my gas, energy and time and pissing me off beyond belief.Yes I know it’s just ice cream. But it’s the principle of it. Don’t tell me you have a surplus of something only to find out that you don’t. And it’s not okay to be selling someone an item that has already been opened. I mean you wouldn’t take my money if it was torn in half, so why should you think it’s okay to sell an item like that? All in all, this food lion is on my bad side now and I am one really angry customer. Food lion in welcome has officially ruined my day.

Decent prices and a wide variety foodstuffs available. There is a large vegetable section as well. The employees are usually helpful and quick at ring up. The products are usually kept in good rotation, and I have never gotton food near to its expiration from the store. The price and quality are good, following the "you get what you pay for."

Best looking supermarket I've seen in a while.. Most active aswell. I never seen supermarkets have staff on as much as this one does. Always seeing staff here making things look good and always being helpful. Really good environment aswell. They care about their customers. Good place overall!

I just wish they offer carry out services. I struggle. Like mom used to say when the doc said you look good today. She'd reply, doc, it's not my looks that hurt! I got robbed of my phone in wallburg but they weren't of any help AT ALL. WATCH YOUR PURSE AND CALCULATING YOUR $. I especially go there for my Pepsi specials. They are close to the same price as Harris teeter accept for different things like if you get robbed, employee out of hand or you are hungry, Harris teeter will help.

I've been going to this food lion since I was 9. I am now 40. This location has gone down hill. They have poor stock and are always out of stuff. I will see if anything changes when these "supply chain issues" are gone. Then I will re-rate mynpost.

For this place they keep your inventory going really good during this where is Crisis going on here stores that keep it really clean they have someone disinfecting the buggies as fast as somebody can touch one they get you in and out of the store pretty quick overall this is a great store

We go to this particular store because it's close to our house but I like this store.. They are usually stocked with everything and the store is very clean. They practice social distancing and wearing masks. Sometimes the staff can be alittle rude

As vendors we do not ask to deliver on Saturdays. The manager (the one working customer service, and he unlocked the door so food lion could deliver) was very rude and nasty towards me and his attitude was unprofessional. If Managers on duty have a problem with delivery on saturdays I highly suggest you call your corporate office and make arrangements for limited delivery to just your food lion trucks. I will not put his name down here but he knows who he is. The next time he comes at me unprofessional I will speak my mind.
