I stopped in as I was visiting Waynesville from West Virginia. It is a dog parents dream. Clothes, toys, homemade treats. If you can't find it in there, you pup doesn't need it! I plan on returning to Waynesville just to go here!

Bought some treats and a reversible vest for my dog! The lady working the floor and register was great, 10/10 customer service! She welcomed us with an offer of a free dog treat, offered help while I was browsing the clothing rack, then offered to measure my dogs back length so I could pick the perfect size!Street parking only, I snagged the free 2 hour spot right in front of the store. Can’t wait to go back and browse the rest of the store as I didn’t have time this day since they were closing at 5 and I got there late.

We visited Smokey Mountain Dog Bakery while on our vacation in Maggie Valley for the week. Let me just say “hands down” to all of the staff! As soon as we opened the door we were welcome with such warm kindness, as if we were family members! The owner and her staff were so polite and kind. They have the most amazing dog cookies available and very healthy for the pups (yes, I read the ingredients)! We did a lot of shopping and had to visit her store 2 more times while on our vacation! Very nice variety of leashes, collars, shampoos, toys, harnesses, treat bar, and of course….our fav, the fresh cookie bakery!-The GluskinsMelbourne, FL

The best pet store ever! This store was an amazing experience. The staff immediately greeted us as we walked in and gave our puppy a treat, which he loved! They had a huge selection of treats and the cutest bakery of sweets. They also gave us a list of all the pet friendly restaurants in town. Best store i’ve ever been to!

We absolutely loved this gem of a place in Waynesville. The owner was so friendly and so incredibly helpful.. not only assisting us with products but being patient with our timid dog and pointing us in the direction of dog friendly local spots. Can't say enough great things..plus our dog loved all of her treats we purchased!

Everyone seems to agree this is a five star store and for good reason. Really nice, friendly employees. Great selection of dog treats at great prices. Our border collie, Bodie has a new favorite store. Will be back soon

This is so much more than a bakery. This is one of the best dog supply stores I've ever entered. The selection is bonkers. They've got literally everything. Stuff for joint health, stuff for going on the water, branded leashes, every imaginable piece of dog clothing and accessories.And the girl working there LOVES dogs. And she's wildly knowledgeable about what she does know and is clear about what she doesn't, and that makes me trust her more. Girl working today, you're a delight.On to the bakery part. They've got bougie cookies and standard treats, all kinds of dried meats, and all possible sizes. They had a dental stick the length of my arm.Y'all need ideas to help that special doggo in your life celebrate literally any event? Come here, it's worth the drive.

What a sweet find!! Spent a disappointing morning in Asheville and was headed back to Bryson City with my pup, hungry & thirsty...decoded to take a quick stop in Waynesville and so happy I did! Downtown was bustling for a Sunday and everyone was so friendly. Picked up some treats for the dog at Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery & the ladies told me about Boojums. They had super friendly staff, a whole dog buffet bar of free treats & my picky pup LOVED the specialty Christmas cookies. They even hooked me up with local dog friendly joints...Thank you for existing!

The people here are extremely nice and helpful! We’re from out of state and stopped in yesterday to get some treats for the pups. They gave us a list of pet friendly restaurants in town, and site seeing options that also allow dogs! We stopped at one and the pups had a blast.

So not from the area, but cannot wait to come back to this awesome little doggy heaven and bring my little girl! They have in house treats baked fresh for your furbabies. You can buy cookies, big bones, and cakes. And there's a table of assorted treats where you can fill a bag or two of your furry friends favorite treats. Lots of accessories not only for your pet but also for you. Stickers, magnets, coasters, t-shirts, harnesses, leashes, collars, toys galore. Thank you for the calming treats and the skelekitty!

They've got lots of nice treats for dogs as well as some unusual ones like hoofs and dried animal parts. My dog Sparky really likes her salmon skin bone, and she's always a big fan of what we bring back for her.

Jonathan has stepped away so I, Brutus, am writing this review. My brother, Ditto, and I harnessed up for a ride to town. We weren't sure where we were going, but we really got excited when Jonathan walked us into Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery. WOW! It smells great, and we couldn't stop sticking our noses into every bin of treats and chews and toys and, well, everything! Woof! As soon as we got inside a kind lady gave each of us a treat, after asking if it was OK. OK? OK? Of course it is OK!!! Then we went back to the treat island. Boy, we couldn't stop salivating. I gently picked up a chew stick but Jonathan said I shouldn't be impolite, so we put it back. Then we had some MORE treats, and then a couple MORE! Jonathan bought a pound of great treats that we will have on our walks every day, and he got a couple of beef things that he said look like sausages. I say they look like heaven! Anywoof, five golden barks for this place. A lovely summer dog ride to our FAVORITE store. That's me in the photo, the handsome white-haired love machine.

This place was awesome! I'm so happy we found it while visiting. My dogs were sure happy too! They got a big bag of treets you stuff yourself, 2 longgggggg bully sticks (we were able to get 3 long pieces out of each stick so it lasted longer), 2 tennis balls, and 2 treats with their names written on them. Best of all when they say the frosting doesn't melt they mean it! We went to the biltmore after going here and left the treats in the car and when we got home nothing had moved. If I was a local these treats would be the only thing they got and they love all the different ones we got them.

I wish so much I lived closer to this shop! My husband and I came through on a road trip and we got treats at their self serve dog treat bar. Our dogs have never gone so wild for treats before so we had to order more online! Everyone at the shop is so sweet and accommodating they made us a custom order and sent it so quickly!! From one dog treat baker to another i’m so impressed by these treats and their ingredients. They are 15/10 the best treats we’ve ever given our girls. I highly recommend them!! We are going to be customers for life. ♥️

Especially enjoyed meeting Una the black kitten up for adoption, she melted my heart. Seems like they do a lot of good for the area, I will be back if I'm ever back in the area!

What a nice local pet supply outlet, serving up fresh treats to satisfy even picky pets!I came in thinking I’d walk out with treats for my pups & cat but on top of that this little shop carries a variety pet toys too.I was glad to access a few very durable dog toys for my rescued Pits. And very appreciative of the kind customer service & generous owner who sent a special treat home for my two pups recovering from leg surgeries.Highly recommend this shop to fellow pet-owners. I’m heading back to pickup a 2nd chew toy that it turns out both my dogs took too, should’ve known better!❤️

My dog loves coming to this store. The staff are super friendly and helpful. My dog loves the cookies, yak chews, and antlers. If you have a super aggressive chewer, I'd definitely recommend visiting this store and checking out the antlers.

My pup loaded up on some wholesome, tasty treats and elk antlers. Great selection of homemade dog treats and everything else you could possibly need for your pup. Super friendly and helpful customer service. The owner is delightful. She even provided me a list of local restaurants that have dog-friendly seating available. I loved everything about this quaint little shop and will stop in again when we’re back in the area.
