We've been taking our 2 babies Lulu and rascal there for about 2 years now. They're the best groomers in Haywood county. My babies come home looking beautiful and smelling great. My Lulu is a tough lil girl that doesn't like being groomed and has a tendency to bite when trying to clean her up. At shaggy they work miracles with Lulu . They somehow manage to get her groomed without loosing a finger and never complain about it. Lulu is a very tough case and I'm so grateful for shaggy putting up with her and not turning Lulu away. I would recommend shaggy to anyone in need of a great groomer. I give them 5 stars easily.

Great place!!! Robin is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. My dog looks and feels much better. The rates are more than reasonable. As long as I live in Maggie Valley this will be my dogs groomer.UPDATE: First impressions aren't always true! I took my dog in to get her nails trimmed. When they had her in the back room to trim her nails, she was screaming in pain. It was all I could do to remain calm and in my seat. When they brought her out to me, they had taken it upon themselves to trim her hair, and they said they emptied her anal glands. My poor dog was in shock for the ride home. She started pooping inside only, for a week! My energetic and lively little girl was terrified to go outside for 2 weeks! I'll NEVER take my baby back there again. Please pay attention to what is being done to your dog if you go here!

Gracie, a large goldendoodle, went for her first visit to Shaggy 2 Chic and came back looking and smelling great! She seemed to enjoy her experience and Robin took excellent care of her. We'll be back soon!

We just moved to the area and took our 5 month old Teddy Bear puppy (Mal-Shi), Sophie today to Shaggy 2 Chic for the first time. They did a wonderful job and she looks AWESOME. Thank you to the staff and especially to Robin for taking great care of our fur baby.

I went for the first time today with my small dog and I cannot rave enough of how great they did!!! Robin explained how it would be longer due to his first visit and walked me through it. My dog has anxiety when he is not with me but he did great and looks amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Robin is great!!! We had our English Shepard at 3 other groomers to have a bath, and with her high anxiety, they always called me to come get her because they couldn't do it. Robin and her assistant did a great job, took their time, and she looks like a different dog!!! We also take our Cocker there and always a great job with him as well!

Robin and her staff are wonderful and caring. We have a 12 year old dog and Robin is so gentle and loving and considerate of his age and limitations. They are centrally located in Hazelwood with easy access. I would highly recommend Shaggy 2 Chic Pet Salon.

Robyn is absolutely amazing! My babies love her and do not want to Leave! She is very knowledgeable about dry skin issues, and does an amazing job with both of my shih tzus! I HIGHLY recommend!
