Me and my daughter went just a few minutes ago to this animal this facility is not like any other facility we have been too because all the animals that we was able to see they looked very very happy and well taken care of. This place is not like the normal animal shelter they are a no-kill shelter and they take care of all animals this was the best place now we're going to volunteer at this company because the ladies was all warming in welcoming. I would give this company a 10 star if I was able to A+++++. We will be adopting a new baby kitten as soon as they are fixed. Thank you....

We adopted the little guy in the middle from Sarge's last weekend. We went to the farmers market and came home with a puppy. He is the sweetest, smartest most adorable little man in the world. We just love him!

I'm sure the animals are beautiful and sweet, but unfortunately you must make an apt to meet them. We drove over an hour bc the website said they were open. Nothing about a big event, or apt only. Super bummed.

Jeff is the most well-informed and heartfelt person I've met. He was extremely helpful in picking out a second dog for us and went above and beyond to help us. He's a treasure! Sarge's is blessed to have him.

Surges is great! They are a no kill shelter!!! They are also non prophet and rely heavily on donations. Either monetarily or food or even "clean" beds for the animals to sleep on. I had a hard time getting my dogs to eat just the right dry food for the last 4 years. Always top quality human grade food, and I can't tell you how much money I've spent only to donate good food to Sarges. The nice lady who helped me said, we couldn't stay open if it wasn't for people like you. But she meant all those who have helped!!! Please don't stop, it's so rewarding to go on their website and see how many dogs and cats have been adopted!!!And by the way, I finally found a dry kibble that both of my multi-poo's love, Nitro Ultra! A great human grade food. You just have to keep looking. And at night they each get one container of Natures Recipe, Chicken Recipe only!I'll still find things to donate to Sarges though!

Everyone I spoke to was nice but I filled out a application you think it would have been to adopt a child. Called several times took a month and the cat I ask for got adopted out from under meI did get a sweet kitten but bless it's heart it was eat up with worms so they got it fixed, got rabbies shot but did not worm it. I feel if really care for these babies then do everything needed I have wormed him 4 time an still going to get something from the vet. They gave me the third degree in the application but seems like they can improve on their care worms make these babies miserable so this is my review

I got my beautiful best friend from Sarge's 7 years ago. They are the best for they are good to the animals and care about them. My baby passed in August of last year and I'm definitely going back to Sarge's to find another!

Great folks doing good things to help animals. We got our newest dog from there and they were super helpful and supportive. They let us do a one week trial period to see how the new dog would get along with our other dog.

Picked up two senior pomeranian. They are the perfect dogs for our family. So gentle and sweet and such great dogs. Already in love with them. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was worth the drive to get the perfect dogs for our family.

This is a wonderful place to adopt a cat or dog. Staff and volunteers are dedicated to the animals care and health. In order to adopt applications are filled out. This is a no kill adoption center. Dogs and cats are neutered or spayed, get all their age appropriate shots. The cats and dogs come from the Haywood Shelter, also no kill. Some volunteers foster animals especially in cold weather

Extremely nice rescue, all kennels were clean, able to walk through facilities and see all available animals. Very nice staff on hand to answer any questions. Also had awesome kitty room.

Good people doing their level best to help dogs in need. If you have thoroughly thought through your circumstances, still want to get a dog, and can and will be able to afford and take care of it, adopt, don't shop.

For the Love of God,,if you have to get rid of your Animals for whatever reason,,take them to Sarge! This is a No Kill Shelter!! No Animal deserves to be dropped off at the pound because they will euthanize them!! If you are looking for a companion please shop here! Dont buy Animals from Pet Stores when there are so many needing Homes elsewhere!!
