First time I got Eddy groomed here. Amelia was awesome!!! She did such a great job and did his beard exactly how I wanted. She was also very informative and told me what brushes I need for his hair. I mean just look how cute he is!!! Def will be back

Brought our Stella to the groomers at PetSmart to have her nails cut (she ended up also getting her teeth brushed & ears cleaned!) They were great..got me the same day as I called and were very friendly & professional. Didn't even take 10 minutes to do everything, and she even noticed I love the color pink so she put the bandana with the "most pink" on my Stellie baby!

This store was great with helping me even went above and beyond when their supplies were low to help get what I needed in a different manner than how it was originally supposed to come! I am a first time Gecko owner .. well really it's my kids but I asked a million questions and they very great at helping me and answering my questions HONESTLY! My only negative is they run out of live crickets fast but that's just cause there must be a lot of lizard owners and they eat A LOT 🤣

PetSmart has a lot of pet stuff. It was a little frustrating, tho, to figure out what size harness to get for our dog. We had the dog with us, but staff had no measuring tape and thus we wound up buying a harness that was definitely too large and we had to return it the next day after an additional trip. The harness tags and packing are designed so that a customer cannot (understandably) put them in their dog and just walk out, but I'm sure this situation comes up a lot, and the experience could have been better. It's simply not possible to "try on" a harness in the store.

I had originally come in for a nail trim for my small Havanese. He doesn't let me do them easily and I wanted to have them done professionally (ie: as short as possible) since I tend to cut them too long for fear of getting the 'quick'.The staff there seemed very friendly, although not confident in their ability to cut his nails. Despite this, in less than 5 minutes they had done his nails and mentioned that he wasn't even difficult about it. However, they did end up just grinding the nails instead of cutting and didn't take much off the length either. This wasn't really what I had wanted but was satisfied that they knew best.After leaving, I realized they had charged me for the service "trim & grind" for around $20. I was not happy with only receiving what I thought was half of this service, and was dubious of whether a quick nail grind was worth $20.I called customer service for PetSmart and they were able to get the manager of the store to talk with me about my dissatisfaction. He was very nice about it, but explained that it is not a "nail trim AND grind" service despite the description, but was only for a nail grind service that effectively trims the nails at the same time. Still $20 though. For reference, PetCo in Asheville does a nail grind service for about half this amount, so I was still unsatisfied and told him as much. He offered another nail grind free of charge to make it right, which I accepted. I felt this had resolved the problem for me as the pricing was the important factor here.The second nail grind service was far better in my estimation -- the nails were done shorter than the first visit, which was on par with my expectation of how short I had wanted them to begin with.I left feeling that they had put in the effort to make my experience a positive one when they could have done nothing and left me feeling negative about their store.

My family and I keep our fish tankes (4 of them) clean and running smoothly with supplies from here. We've also bought most the tanks here. The staff are always very nice and helpful!

We came here to get some supplies for a new puppy that we are adopting. The store was very clean and well organized and all of the employees were super friendly and helpful. Our cashier (I believe her name was Marti) was super sweet and personable and made our shopping experience delightful.

Theres always a line. They only ever have one register open in a super busy store. Great choice of options of everything. Quite pricy and Ive found same exact things cheaper on Amazon

I went to the PetSmart in waynesville NC to get 3 cat collars and to get 3 tags made and it was $80!?!?!?!?That is highway robbery. They were the cheapest cat collars and the cheapest tags that they sold there. I am not a fan, and will never, EVER, step foot inside a PetSmart ever again. .thank you PetSmart for stealing money.

This review is on the training available and not the actual store. I signed up for 12 weeks of training. I took my dog to 2 of those sessions. Both sessions consisted of those of us in class sitting on a stool the ENTIRE HOUR and listening to the instructor. Kathy (instructor) did come to each dog in the class to demonstrate how to get your dog into a sit or leave it but as a class member you never were able to utilize these in the class setting to get advice or assistance. Almost the entire hour of the class was us sitting on a stool while she talked. I went to petsmart to get a refund so I could find a more suitable class. I spoke with the manager and she never asked me WHY I wanted a refund after taking only 2 classes but paying for 12. I would think that a business would be curious about this. If I could I would leave zero stars for the training program. The advice given and the quality of the class is competent sub par and the managers concern about customer satisfaction is non existent

I went to buy some fish been I several time to buy fish. It was late 45 min before closing she was rude then went to pay the person could not read the numbers so had to call her to help. Attitude slammed the fish down and killed them . 87.00 worth of fish died in the store then she had to go get new fish and was mumbling under breath all the way back to the fish. And then didn't have the numbers the cashier couldn't ring them up so had wto call her again she wasn't happy. So for being so long. Some of the fish died a few days later she was the same person that had to swap them and told my wife it might be our water. So I checked there with the new fish. PH was low bad low. Just be careful buying fish here. For a little while.

This location is great! They usually have what I want in stock. The employees are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the grooming services. They do a great job and are gentle with our dogs. The prices here are a little high but I believe in paying a little more for quality, and that is what you get here. Our dogs love going here too.

It was my first experience with a PetSmart, but it won’t be my last! Tamara did a fantastic job. I know that my dog is very difficult, but she aced it. I’ll Be going there again . Max looks like 1 million bucks

Harley groomed my Stand Poodle, Shiloh and did a superior job. This is the best she has looked in a long time. They are reasonable and do fine work. Thank you, Harley we will be back to see you in a few weeks.😊

First visit to Petsmart to get Mickey's ID tag. Lady at check out very helpful in his to get the one for him. Sorry they don't carry the "Mickey" ID tag any more, but the one we got is perfect! He even got a dog treat before we left. Some new dog toys for Halloween!

Ears not cleaned good, not trimmed,haircut not as requested, doesn't look like cut or certain areas not shaved short enough as requested, teeth not brushed, no mouth wash ,breath bad. No bandana as said on add on.couldnt smell much nice scent as stated on add-on.Very disappointed

Pros:- The employees are super helpful and eager to help you. There are typically several in the store at once. Only once or twice have I had an issue with finding a product.- I found a cat carrier here that was the same size and cheaper than Walmart- Decent selection of items for special dietary needs- They finally groom cats!Cons:- They groomed my girl but did not cut close enough to the neck even though it was specified- Prices can be significantly more expensive than other places on certain items- Some employees can be unhelpful or short- Lack of prescription cat food

My husband and I just got a cute female Chihuahua to add to our pet family and she needed to be special fit for an extra small dog harness.The girls at the store that were working that night were so friendly and helpful and I really appreciate that so much! = )

I'm in there at least once a month, and the staff are always welcoming. They do/did have one woman who would sometimes make inappropriate political comments, and wear her mask well below her chin (that was back in COVID days), but other than that this is a great store, with all the selection you need.

After dozens of times visiting this store as the only local option to purchase the specific food for my dogs allergies, I have finally had enough of the rude employees and management and I feel the need to leave this review. Mind you that I do not enjoy leaving bad reviews and prefer to not leave them at all as I feel they do little to nothing for me. However…I work 50-60 hour work weeks(managing a retail sales floor similar to this) supporting a family with no other option other than swinging by at 8:30pm(30 mins before closing) due to my work schedule.Every time I’m bullied out of this location with lights turning off at 8:40pm, managers urging staff to close tills 10-15 mins before closing, along side of obvious rude stares and lack of conservation. My dog approached the manager tonight and the manager rudely shook her head and ignored her with an obvious passive scoff of “hurry up and get out”(25mins before closing).I know box store employees work long days and want to go home and I among many others respect that it’s the end of your long day. Many of us have also had long days and just need a bag of dog food to go home and feed our pet. Again… this is the only time some of us have available to come in. It’s not like we’re dining for 8 guests and the restaurant closes in 10 mins.The passive aggressive turning off of the lights and giving rude stares to bully customers out of the store along with 0 conversation is amongst the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a box store. Not to mention it happens every time.Atleast the girl at the register who offered a treat to my dog and provided service with a smile is doing her job well and outperforming every manager at this location.
