I've been going to Junaluska Animal Hospital, since 2005. Dr Mike Giusti is our primary vet. He always goes above and beyond, for my dogs. I've had dogs with rare illnesses and they all lived long, happy lives. My dachshund lived years longer than anticipated, after his diagnosis. Dr Mike listens and explains everything to me. When my chihuahua was diagnosed with megaesophagus, he researched a treatment I had read about. It's a rare illness, and she had other problems that complicated things, but he came up with a great treatment plan. She thrived. I also really like Dr Keith Reason. He is very kind and I trust what he tells me. Dr Keith and Dr Mike were so compassionate, with end of life stuff. It really helped. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

They were excellent!!! From the time I called them very concerned about my dog they got me right in! Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. So thankful they were able to help my precious Tucker and I will definitely be using them in the future!

Start to finish-EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! Three years ago I was rescued by a Husky who had experienced lots of trauma. It’s been a long bumpy road and we’re new to NC. Every staff member at Junaluska treated her like the Queen that she is. She & Tamara had a very special connection and for a dog that has been afraid of men, especially men with beards…that went out the window with Dr White. My girl found a new Vet home, and I’m so thankful. Junaluska knows how to make you feel welcome!

Dr. Burge was so great with my very unhappy to be there kitty whom has had a few very traumatic visits to a different local animal hospital. Dr. Burge and her staff were so patient and very loving to my cat and took excellent care of her. They went over a treatment plan and all the pricing so there were no surprises. Very happy we switched to Junaluska Animal Hospital.

Professional/friendly people at Junaluska Animal Hospital. Was very pleased with their services. Prices are higher than other Veterinarian Animal places, however still satisfied with service.

We love Junaluska animal hospital. The staff is incredible! Friendly and informative and great at what they do. They were very good at answering all of our questions and concerns and making us feel at ease. They have saved my sweet babies life twice now and we couldn’t ask for a better group.

Came in today on Mothers Day due to our dog had her nail caught in a vent and was bleeding yesterday and today it got worse. Called and they said we could come in. Our dog is very nervous and not aggressive at all and the staff here was AMAZING! They were so good at making her feel comfortable and provided us information about other health concerns we had. They took the nail off and did blood work to make sure the medication they were giving us was safe for her. Absolutely incredible staff thank you all so much for taking care of our girl! 💕

The care we have been shown, regarding our pets, is beyond amazing! They helped me with my rescue dog. They were very thorough in finding out what was wrong with 2 of our dogs (dad and son both had cancer) they had to be put down! Max , Zach & Jasmine 💕

They gave me an appointment the very day I called. Very friendly and compassionate with me and my sick kitty. Explained the diagnostic testing that they wanted to run and then went over the results with me. They treated my cat (2 injections and take-home pills) and sent me home. In just two days my kitty was back to normal! They even called me today to make sure she was okay. Great experience, but not cheap.

I have had great service at this facility! I am new to the area and will not go anywhere else! I love that the two doctors I have seen are young women fresh out of school. I come from a medical family and my parents have always said that the best doctors are those right out of school. They have both been fabulous and thorough. As an internationally known groomer, I have had close relationships with many vets. I know good when I see it!

My male cat was having some issues in the litter box, and even though I told them he had had these issues before and was probably just a flare-up, they took us right in when we arrived and made sure he was okay. Dr. Reasons explained everything and made sure to calm my nerves. They even worked with a compounding pharmacy so that I can get my boy’s medicine in a form easier for him to take. The care and concern they have for their patients and their willingness to help was so comforting, and I will definitely be bringing my animals here in the future.

Even though our trip tonight was not what we wanted or to hear the news on our dog. The staff and vet were professional and caring. We had to have our 5 year old German Shepherd put to sleep, they were very caring and supportive to my wife and I. Highly recommend their place and care for your pet.

Honestly one of the best vets I have ever been to. They explain things so clearly for someone who doesn’t understand the terms and also answer all of questions no matter how silly they seem. I’ve used them for my other two fur babies that had to be put to sleep and even then they were extremely kind and caring. I will always go here and recommend them to everyone.

There aren’t enough stars for me to give every single employee that works here.We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our very sick furbaby. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do as a family. The pain was unbearable… Each and every team member were beyond sympathetic. The Dr himself got on the ground with us and had tears in his eyes from the pain he saw in our eyes and for love he has for animals. I can’t thank Junaluska Animal Hospital enough for the support they provided in our distress. I wish we had come for better reason but our experience with Junaluska Animal Hospital will remain with us for the rest of our lives. They showed love, compassion, and sympathy in a way that helped us start the healing process. We look forward to bringing our next furbaby to Junaluska Animal Hospital because of the trust we have in them and the amazing care they provide. We recently adopted a breeder rescue dog, and decided we wanted to have her vet care at Lake Junaluska Animal Hospital and urgent care. We went for her first visit this past week and were very impressed. We liked that we could wait in the car until the vet tech called us on the phone to say she’d meet us in the lobby. Our new dog is very skittish right now and we appreciated not having to sit in a crowded waiting room. All the staff we encountered were so nice and friendly and listened to our concerns. Dr. Mike left us feeling that Rosie was in excellent hands. We scheduled a dental that day. We like the fact that we can go there for routine visits, but that there is also urgent care if necessary. The facility was very nice and is convenient for us.

I was seen for my puppy appointment right on time. The vet tech Beverly was wonderful and caring. She kept us informed of every procedure being done. The vet Dr Alt was also very attentive and answered my questions. Osying the bill in the exam room saved so much time. Overall a very positive experience.

I've brought both my dog here. Bentley n Liberty. My older girl Liberty has been aggressive and miserable as she's gotten older. I forgot her muzzle and was concerned how she'd react. Dr Reason was great with her and also his tech. I was so relieved and now she's on medicine to help her feel much better. I'm also very happy with how they approach care up front with no surprises. The prices were reasonable. I'd recomend this practice to anyone. They really cae for your animals and for your budget.

I love this Animal Hospital! Everyone is so nice and they are very thorough! I like that you wait in your car until they are ready for you. This way my cat isn't freaked out by other animals waiting. Very much recommend Junaluska Animal Hospital!

It was our first visit to Junaluska. The girls who helped us were so helpful and friendly. Dr Mike was amazing. He took time to get to know our dogs. He made suggestions and recommendations but was never pushy.I would give them a 10++
