Rude employees not helpful… was shoved out of the way by a worker. Never greeted by anyone or asked for help when I’m in here. Watched the loss prevention guy eat a burrito while walking around on the floor!!Safety violations throughout store here’s an example photo below

Debbie, who led the workshop at Lowe's, went above and beyond for my Cub Scouts Bear den from Pack 53. Her expertise and enthusiasm made the workshop a standout experience for the kids. Great customer service from Lorena at self checkout. My items were not scanning and she made the process very easy by entering the barcode number. Also, she sent me to lumber so my items could be loaded by someone. She’s a great asset to the Lowe’s team!

**** UPDATE ***Now unfortunately if you don't have a receipt for an item you basically take it out to the parking lot and throw it out and smash it because you can't do anything with it no store credit no exchanges for something different even with your ID card.Now I would NEVER buy from Lowe's even if items were 50% off or on clearance for a dollar.Very rude and unprofessional employees (George is awesome) ESPECIALLY the cashiers. If you're a veteran.....don't bother going here. I think you would be treated better if you were a thief.*** LISA who is one of the store managers is actually very friendly and very helpful and very professional ****

There was a guy named Adam working the cash register at the Cuthbertson location on 5/4/24 at like 3:00. He was the nicest, most attentive, positive person I've ever met in my entire life. He's the coolest cashier I've ever met and he is the only reason I would go back to this location. I know high schoolers don't usually write reviews, but this guy gave me the best shopping experience everr.

This the problem lowes treats people who steal from them better then there customers I can't stand this I seen a couple people walk out not paying for a 500 purchase and they just don't care the employee walked out even help load there car and told them come back again but lowes Don't treat the customers with any respect sad case shame on lowes home stores go to home depot they respect thair customers fact check this lowes.i seen a manager at a club and he was telling some people that next time they come in and they need to return something just ask for him I think he was trying to get laid that's what it looked like to me.

Very poor customer service! I went into get a simple item that I already checked to see if it was in stock. I looked for 30 minutes for the item or an employee! I then spoke to Vida who said she was the head cashier. She regraded me with a soulless bovine expression and simply said all the employees were out at lunch, I asked if anyone could help me she said that they didn’t carry the item I was looking for. I was so upset with the dismissive way I was treated I then asked for a manger (Wade) The item was in stock and he showed me where it was located. So after an hour of frustration I left the Waxhaw store never to return. Lowes does not know FYI

My recent experience at Lowe's was quite disappointing. I had ordered a trim board and received a call notifying me that it was ready for pickup. However, upon reaching the store, the customer service representative, Vida, claimed that the order was not in stock. I played the voicemail confirming its arrival, but Vida dismissed it, offering no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused.In the midst of expressing my dissatisfaction with Vida's response, her colleague Cheryl intervened, revealing that the item was indeed in the building but not yet logged into the system. Vida abruptly left without providing any information or updates, leaving me uncertain about the situation. For the next 10 minutes, I was left waiting, questioning whether she would return.Thankfully, another employee named January stepped in and took charge of the situation. She went to the back to investigate and messaged Vida, suggesting that I call back on Monday to check if the trim board had been located. Despite January's helpful intervention, the lack of communication and the initial dismissive attitude from Vida made this customer service encounter frustrating and less than satisfactory.

Lowes has moved to total customer self check out. Just seems to be in line with trying to find help on the stores floor - impersonal. Shopped there for over 20 years and have seen a change in service.

So many nice and helpful employees at this store. I love seeing all of the camouflage vests worn by the military veterans, and appreciate their support of military customers. I cannot possibly remember the name of every associate that has helped me here, but most recently Tom D. patiently stuck with me trying to find a few different parts in both plumbing and hardware that I couldn't track down on my own.

This Lowe's tends to be somewhat unprofessional, unkept and unorganized whenever I come in. The customer service desk can be hit or miss depending on who's working. The layout of the store is cumbersome and can be unsafe to navigate since they have those tall step ladders in the aisles all the time.This store is constantly out of stock with many items and they don't stock many items you'd find at other Lowe's locations. When it comes to special orders, that too can be hit or miss, they'll mess up your order then not inform you until, we'll until it's too late. Most of the time management will rectify situations but it shouldn't come to that in the first place.Overall, I recommend this Lowe's if you live in the area but otherwise, no need to drive out of your way. This Lowe's could have better training for some associates who can be rude, arrogant and unprofessional.

I am a regular at Home Depot when buying for work. Upon moving and taking on a new project, Lowe's was the closest home improvement place around, so I tried it. Big mistake. I regret even trying it and am leaving very frustrated. The last at the paint desk that we had to wait for tried helping, but didn't seem very knowledgeable about what I needed, which was a basic eggshell color I get all the time at Home Depot. The store also didn't have one of the other two things i needed. Won't ever go back to a Lowes. None of the staff seemed very professional.

Not a great lowes.Staff knows very little about the product or even some basics. I asked for help near the pneumatic nailers and the person in the area knew absolutely nothing about nailers. He was suggesting nails that would not fit in the gun.Often the app shows that they have items but they are no where to be found. Asking for help they just tell you other stores that have the item. They don’t care that an item is misplaced and won’t order more until it’s “scheduled”.Often things on the shelves have been opened and/or returned. I’ve purchased many items only to realize after I get home that the item doesn’t work. This happened with a work light. It had clearly been returned. Nothing was secured in the box. It was half assembled and didn’t work. I bought a few gfci electrical outlets and one box had tape on it. At the time I didn’t think much of it. But I went to use it a few days later and that one didn’t work.Home Depot is much less convenient for me, but will be going there instead of here most of the time

My mother-in-law is a LOYAL/VALUED CUSTOMER of Lowe's with a family of home builders & home improvements, especially at this location. Many years of good service now has changed to a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL LOCATION, MOST OF ALL NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is very important operating as a customer based company, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS EVEN IF JUST PURCHASED WITH RECEIPT.Mother-in-law brought a refrig for approximately $1,700 & noticed after afew days that it wasn't making any ice, so she called the company(LOWE'S WAXHAW, NC) to inform them of the defect from the newly purchased appliance(refrig) & to request a new one or moneyback. They denied her on both request, but did state they would send someone out to fix. A few days later they came to fix, and appliance(refrig) was good for 1 day and it occured again, ice maker not working. That is completely ridiculous & unacceptable. Why should she have to KEEP AN APPLIANCE(REFRIG) THAT HAD A DEFECT FROM THE BEGINNING AND SHE PAID HER MONEY FOR IT, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE DEFECT! GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD HAVE TOLD HER THAT HER NEWLY PURCHASED DEFECTIVE APPLIANCE WOULD BE REPLACED FOR A NON DEFECTIVE APPLIANCE. How many valued customer has your company treated in this manner & should you all be REPORTED TO ACTION 9, especially dealing with senior citizens? Response please & thank you.

What is going on? Why is everyone here so angry, and disrespectful? Does Lowes have low paying wages? Are there toxic managers? This place seems to be understaffed, overworked, unpleasant... I just wanted a plumbing part and it seemed like I was such an inconvenience. I just wanted to make sure I had the right thing. Incorrect! You are to know exactly what you need and to purchase it and leave. Noted.

My favorite home improvement store to shop at. Very friendly sales staff and although it is smaller than the lowes in fort mill, it still carries a lot of equipment. Easy to navigate and not as packed full of people as other lowes stores.

Spoke with 3 managers including the overall store manager and the repeated trend was that it was my fault that I didn’t return my dishwasher within 48 hours of delivery since it was defective. The sales associate told me I had 48 hours from install but didn’t let me know a “certified plumber” wouldn’t count since it has to be their installers and they were 2-3 weeks out from being able to install. No matter who I spoke with it resulted in more work for me with no ownership by lowes or their leadership.
