My cashier was extremely rude and talking to the other cashier across the way while ringing my items. Didn’t even say hello to me. He just hands me my receipt and continues to talk to the cashier. RUDE!!!! Teach your cashiers manners

Let me tell you, I’m not even here to talk about groceries! Food Lion has the best plants for being a grocery store!!!! I literally take a trip to the grocery store for the sole purpose of treating myself to a plant! Would you look at my hanging basket?! She’s gorgeous!! Got it in May and she’s still going strong!

Pretty good prices, great selections, but beware some products are damaged like the soda cans 2 were empty and one leaked in my car. Some things I have only seen there and never again but it's an overall good super market

I loved the vibe early the other morning when I came in. Staff is always friendly, but everyone was in such a good mood interacting with each other, which says a lot. I find what I'm looking for, not usually bare shelves, and it is easy to find new things. I also use curbside pickup or order on instacart as well for delivery. Can still use your MVP card on there as well.

I love shopping at this grocery store. It is my primary go to for all the basics. The prices are great, the selection is sufficient, and most importantly the employees are very kind, respectful, and take care of their customers. The store is also very clean and organized. The only thing I wish is a better selection of meats- especially beef cuts. I highly recommend this if you live local.

Been doing online pick up for some time now. Have had moira take care of my pick up last two or three times and she is PHENOMENAL. Very sweet and honest !! Never any issues with this location. Always Accurate and done quickly ! Back to update because my girl Karen—- you know the pretty lady with that gorg red hair. Love her too!! Food lion yall don’t know how good you got it with just these two!!!

This place is an excellent place to work. I've been working for Food Lion for a little over a year. The employees are VERY friendly, don't hesitate to lend a helping hand ,go out of their way for customers and other employees, and have a very high work ethic.

Once I moved to Waxhaw, I was checking out grocery stores and by far Food Lion is the BEST! The staff is the most genuinely polite and helpful. Prices are the most reasonable without the gimmicks. I have found items ex. sponges to be all located in the same place. Discovered another store had them located in two different places, same aisle and the most expensive eye level, the one the cheapest by half, by knee level on the opposite wall. I find the managers to polite and courteous. Thank you Food Lion staff.

I got a promotion today we decided to celebrate 🎉 with our favorite cake from Food Lion. I know not all Food Lions make that cake I asked before. I called and asked if it could be made, person I spoke too was so kind and she was so sweet told me that she could make it and be ready for us to pick up in 15 mins. She doesn’t know it but she made my day complete. I am so thankful for her great attitude. Thank you 🙏🏼 it was so sweet we enjoyed the cake to the max. The cake was chocolate inside with a Hershey’s whipped icing and strawberries on top. To top it off it was on sale my kind of day I guess.

This store has always had very friendly staff. I chose to shop here although I live juuuussst on the other side of the state line, in Lancaster, South Carolina. The owls are clean and free of clutterand if anyone is stalking when you come down, they always ask if you need to get to anything or need to get by. Now, that seems like it should be expected of any store. And, it should. However, it doesn't happen. The selection is decent, and managers specials are abundant.

By far my favorite place to shop for groceries around the area! Everything is always stocked, the store is always clean, and the staff is always super helpful! If there are more than 2 people waiting in a line, they will open up a new one to get customers out quicker.

One of the cleaner food lions iv been into. Selection is alright. But the customer service is not very good. My cashier was cleaning his register when I came up. That is great but then he continued to clean and told me to hold on. Then he had to go clean his hand. And he put some carts away while while he was at it.. I was un a little bit of a rush but this guy could of taken all day.

This store has been recently renovated. There have been several positive changes! The meats and produce have improved. There's a nice wine section. The selection is good, and the prices are much cheaper than Harris Teeter.

I was acknowledging no less than four times as i got my items. The floors were clean, staff was straightened stock. The cashier was stop on, accurate and speedy. I was in and out with out stress or angst

Awesome as always. Good selection of what i need. Way better than dealing with the walmart down the street. Will trade spending a couple extra dollars any day for ease of shopping, less of a crowd, and someone always there ring me up quickly.

This Food Lion is rarely picked over like the grocery stores around it. The people are normally friendly and they have decent prices. It might not look fancy on the outside, but on the inside it's all you would want in a grocery store.

This store is always clean and has fresh produce and meat. Weekly specials are helpful to the budget. The staff are very friendly too. It's a pleasure to shop here!
