I love the staff and the veterinarians here, always welcoming and accommodating. I appreciate everything you guys and gals do to help with all my dogs! Whether it'd be an emergency or a routine visit, the team here does everything they can to get you in. Dr Slater is an amazing vet and she extremely professional, knowledgeable and super friendly! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and the dogs during my worst times and my best times. I always look forward to seeing you all and so does mickey mouse! 😉

Thank you so much for 11 years taking care of my sweet Teddy bear. Sadly we lost him September 26th 2022. I want to thank the staff for being so kind and understanding during this difficult time. I want to thank them for always being good to us. Teddy was so excited about going to the vet that we had to wait outside so as not to disturb the whole place. He always got kisses whether you wanted them or not. But nobody seemed to mind. The day we put Teddy down the two young ladies couldn't have been more professional. They did their jobs perfectly. But that didn't stop them from being human, as they did it with tears in their eyes. Of course we want to take our babies to the best vetinary care around, but it also means a lot to us to know that you really care. You love our babies too . Thank you again for everything. Our pets have been patients at pamlico animal hospital for 2 years. In that time, I have never had a problem. The staff is friendly and understanding and always ready to go the extra mile. The cost of their services is very reasonable. I trust them with the care of our beloved pets.

I cannot thank your Doctors and staff enough for taking care of my sweet baby Lilly. We have been with Pamlico Animal Hospital for a couple of years now and they have always been great! Yesterday was the 1st time we have needed the emergency services and let me just say they were amazing. I will recommend yall to everyone I see that needs a vet! Thank you for seeing us so quickly and treating us with such care during this scary time. I am forever grateful.

The PAH staff are consistently kind and patient with me and my pets. They truly love animals and strive to be the best at what they do. I appreciate Dr. Martin because she listens to my concerns, answers my questions and shares her knowledge and experience with me. Laura is my go-to person. Since we got our cat in January of 2023 we have been patients of Pamlico Animal Hospital. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and are always polite when we arrive. I brought our cat Nemo in for a weight check and to purchase more preventative flea/ tick medication.Their office is fully stocked with several brands of pet food as well as preventative meds. They also have T-shirt’s and other swag for sale if you want to support them by wearing their brand!I asked them to trimNemo’s nails because he’s been skittish about it. It was not scheduled but they squeezed us in for a brief tech appt. Not much wait time and no problem.They’re very loving and accommodating and it makes me feel like our pet is in really caring hands when we go there. They also have extended emergency hours if needed. Highly recommend Pamlico Animal Hospital!

Everyone we interacted with from start to finish was very helpful and nice. We were nervous about leaving our kitten for neutering and shots, but the facility came highly recommended and was very nice. Prices were great and our little guy is doing great.

Had a wonderful experience with my Pepper a few days ago! I was so worried about him, and got an immediate appointment. The vet -one if the owners and super nice - was fabulous with him! I requested her for our next appointment! He stayed calm and that says a lot. I did have a bit of a wait. I think there may have been some confusion because I had changed the appointment twice for the same day. Nothing hurt and the important thing is my Pepper responded to treatment and is doing well!! Thank you Pamlico Hospital!!

I love this place. The girls up front are always smiling, even when the wait room is packed and dogs are yelping they are so great! The doctors take the time to speak with you and offer advise and information on your pets healthcare needs. I have three dogs that are always treated so well. This Vet offers kenneling which is super convenient.

I can not say enough about how awesome this clinic is. Everyone is professional and kind. Care was administered quickly and efficiently. Prices are reasonable. If you need a vet clinic for your pets I highly recommend this place.

The Pet Resort side on the other hand is not good. The cut is pretty hit or miss and they always sprayed some stuff in my dog's ears even when we asked them not to. He always came back with really sensitive ears after getting groomed and then would need several days of ear cleaning after to clear things up.Update: The Pet resort has made a significant improvement since my original post and they're haircuts are very fairly priced!Final Update:The Groomer has proven to have poor consistency. Our two previous appointments had very good haircuts, but this recent one looks as though they hardly did anything to him.

I was concerned about my cat. Was seen the same day. Vet took all the time necessary to do a through assessment, at least an hour. Gave me options for further testing and treatment. I asked what she would recommend if I was her mother. Vet:s response was, take the cat home and call tomorrow if there is still no change. I chose to take the cat home and cat was better the next day. I am very grateful for all the folks at Pamlico Animal Hospital were there for me and my cat.

I took my kitty fur baby Ghost in for eye removal surgery and they took amazing care of my kitty . I take all my fur babies here and will NEVER take them anywhere eles. I always have the best animal care when I take fur babies here . I can proudly recommend Pamlico Animal Hospital to all who needs Animal care.

My dog will always go to Pamlico Veterinarian for all his needs! He just had a 3 day boarding stay and grooming and my gosh he looks great and happy and they took great care of Patches. I highly recommend all of their services. They always greet your animal like they have always known them. Pricing was great. So a big shout out to the boarding staff and grooming staff and the Veterinarians and their staff. Thank you so much!

Sad to say I lost my girl Kelli on the way home 01/06/24 from vets office.Took her back to be cremated, got ashes back today. I paid to get paw print, but they “FORGOT”, of course they credited my account. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I feel it was important. Was to me. To late now. Negligence is what it was.

Thank you Dr. Van Cura and ALL of the wonderful staff for taking care of our sweet Jake all these years. And thank you to those who helped us yesterday as we had say goodbye to him. Took my cat and dog here for the first time this week. The vet was very knowledgeable and helpful with the issues with both animals. It's been a few days and both animals are doing well. The front desk staff was very friendly and kind. The vet was not very personable, but she was professional and straight to the point. I will be continuing to go for my fur babies.

I don't usually write reviews but thought i would for my first experience with a Veterinarian.Pamlico Animal Hospital was very professional and patient with me, despite being a first time pet owner and not fully understanding the needs of my Pet cat Juno.They were able to do a full examination and cleared her of ear mites, as well as giving me medicine for her intestinal issues.The staff was very friendly and the entire process was quicker than i expected. My only regret was that i didn't think to schedule a grooming session before hand. But they were kind enough to schedule one soon. They were terrific so i'm looking forward to getting Juno properly clean and trimmed.
