My favorite food store in Washington! Best meats in town! The store is just the right size. I hope the new owners don't change the store too much! Piggy Wiggly , no more! Carlie's C now! Small changes by the new owners. Now it has a hot food bar and a bakery.

This is a great hometown grocery store. Really fresh produce (some of the best peaches I’ve ever had!) , a great deli and a nice bakery selection! They’ve got you covered if you’re on the way to a barbecue and have to pick up something for dessert. Specifically mentioning the premade banana pudding that’s in the front by the cash registers- and right on the shelf outside the produce section. I’ve made several banana crème pies with this product and gotten RAVE reviews- it went to last Thanksgiving and Christmas! Give this product a try if you stop in- I’ve not seen it anywhere else!They’ve got a comprehensive and diverse stock in the store. I’ve always been able to find what I needed. The meat section always has nice steaks, burger, chicken, and pork and plenty of ethnic offerings such as organ meat, pigs feet, neck bones etc.The staff is friendly and usually ask if they can help you find anything. It’s nice to have a human check your groceries through since so many places are “self” check now. They bag it and even offer to carry it to your car. This level of customer service is unique & very appreciated!Their prices are comparable to other local grocery stores in Washington, NC . Great beer and wine selection, nice “hot bar” if you’re grabbing something for lunch too.Highly recommend this store. Carlie C’s keep up the good work!

The manager here is super nice, very sweet and so kind he's very good with helping you with anything. When you need your groceries to your car he'll be happy to help he also even help you load your groceries. The prices are very good also. The meat's are fresh as you can get it. The grocery store is super clean the bathroom is also.

A little more expensive than Food Lion. Rarely checkout lines, and they usually have what all the basics and more. I definitely go there if in a hurry and just need a few things.

Great prices. The hot bar is amazing and fresh. The employees are great greets me ad soon as I walk in and at the register and the baggers are great as well. Go check them out you won't be dissatisfied.

Have only been there a few times but each time is good. Everyone is friendly and helpful. If i have a question they are more than happy to help me. Haven't tried the deli yet but I will the next time im in there.

Their wine selection is AMAZING! It is the only reason I still go. Their groceries continue to get increasingly higher. The employees don't seem happy with the new ownership. They are hardly ever smiling anymore

Good prices, great produce section. When I was done paying, I couldn't find my groceries. I looked over and they were loaded into my cart and a sweet employee was there to help me out to my car! I have not had service like that in years! I will be back!

The made to order deli food is awesome! They make the best cheeseburgers and wings. Sometimes they're a bit slow coming to get orders some times but they're great. The store has the best selection of meats in town. The staff is helpful and friendly for the most part (when the younger ones are being supervised).

This is a great local supermarket. It seems a little cramped, but the produce section has alleviated a lot of congestion. They seem pretty good about stock rotation, and their deli seems really popular

Prior Piggy Wigley now NC family owned with 30 stores a IGA member. Performing some upgrades but keeping meat Dept as is. Known for buying prior used grocery stores, so don't expect a shiny new penny, but friendly and good quality foods. Know first visit will be different with upgrades and management changes to strive for high quality on each visit.

I like to shop at piggy wiggly.there prices are reasonable i like that they cut there meats. I can always find the meats I like I find meats there that you cannot get at foodlion. The people that work there are nice. And they have men that will take your groceries to your car

They have a wide selection of produce and they cut their own meats. If you are disgusted by the prepackaged gassed meats in Walmart and other places, then come get the real thing here. Prices are a little lower,so that helps too. My only complaint is the store is too small.

This is one of the only stores left that feels like a small town grocery store from way back when. They don't have fancy equipment, displays and such, but what they have serves the purpose. And all that keeps the prices lower. They also have one of the best meat departments around.
