I usually ways find what came for and probably mist times end up getting something extra as well because of their good buys in a variety of different products. I'm little disappointed I with their recent early closings due to lack of available workers . However this is a matter that the dollar general brand has no influence or control over so it's just one of those ,"dang , maaaan." moments. And understandable. Thanks for keeping up with your promise for lower prices and good products. friendly staff is a good bonus also.

Ran into dollar general, there wasnt any sour cream in the cold section. The lady stocking the fridge, stopped what she was doing and went in the back to find me some. She was very polite and didn't seen bothered by me asking her to go look. I was so greatful that she took the time to do that for me, tacos ain't tacos without sour cream!! The lady at the register was also very sweet she put a smile on my face.

This has been a great help to our area. Really like it. But, there is one employee there who is some kind of manager who is crabby and I've seen her out in her car on the phone while the rest of the employees are needing her help, making the line stop several times. She has long dark hair. She won't let you by when she is stocking. Just glares at me. A couple of weeks ago, the lady alone at the register needed her to come in to help with a customer who needed the manager during the busy 5:00 hour. I whispered to the lady at the register that she was in her car and I would tell her she was needed when I went out. Mind you, she had been out there the 20 minutes I was in the store. I knocked on her window and told her she was needed. She gave me a dirty look and continued talking. She seems to have some personal problems, but you can't make that everyone's problem, especially when it happens so much someone like me is able to pick up on it.

Get store new cashier was awesome. I think her name was Kimberly, should have asked for a last name she was cute😍☺️

They have a very good selection of everything from groceries to knick knacks to about everything else that you might need for around the house and at good prices. This store is the nicest Dollar General that I've been in as far as neatness of the store and selection. Most all other Dollar Generals that I've been in just about always have boxes and buggies with boxes from where they're unpacking stuff to put on shelves and I understand they have to stock shelves but the buggies are always there in the same place and in a way that you cant even squeeze down a lot of the aisles.

Generally, if there are a lot of cars in the parking lot, expect a slow visit. Otherwise, the staff are nice, bathrooms are clean and they have a lot of items you might need to help avoid having to go all the way to Walmart or other grocery stores.

Decent selection at a discount. Although the discount is because the quality of the stuff is not high and almost everything is made in China.I was sad to see Mountain Grocer go to make space for this store but it is hard to stop progress.While this is a “dollar” store, there is very little in the store you can actually buy for a dollar.

*So* convenient when you run out of something simple (milk, TP, soap... you get the picture) and you just don't want to go all the way into town.Miss having a gas station on this end of the county, though.

Biggest dollar general I've ever been in, was like a dollar store had a weird baby with a Walmart. But the staff is very pleasant and with it being one of the closest stores to the house it's going to be a frequent stop

Nice and friendly staff but it has the nickname little Walmart because they only have one person checking people out no matter how busy it is! Still love them because they are close to my house.
