Sorry this was not an Ingles visit. I was at 1020 Hwy 65 at Home goods for less. Only been there since August 2019. Great prices and selection of Home goods. Handicapped parking but no public restrooms. Very clean store. A very helpful and friendly staff. They had lights for all rooms of your house inside and out. Patio furniture, bedding, shoes, bathtub and sink. Odds and ends of other things. A friend of mine order some blinds online from them and they were wrong and Leslie and Namoni made it right.I will be going back. You need to check out this store it is great.

Great selection of products, many of which can't be found at most of the other stores, and the general atmosphere of the store and the neon decor are very nice and inviting.

As old as this store is, it is keep up very nicely. I'm 58. My parents moved to Walnutcove when i was 13 and I remember this store being the place where mom would always shop, and that's where I will always shop.

I love Ingles but this was the worst one I have ever seen. I drove 15 mi from my new home to get to this market, only to find that it was old, dirty, run down, poorly lit, poorly stocked and the employees seemed to have very low morale. After touring every aisle and department, I walked out and purchased nothing. I won't return again.

Very nice store! I got what I came for and a few items more. Very bright, spacious, and well stocked shelves and displays. Friendly staff that helped me, also. Worth stopping for.

Biased, I have a friend or two working here from my highschool, but the best grocery store in the market. The deli and bakery provide the good stuff, and their rewards program save me reliably around 5 bucks minimum on whatever I'm getting. Thanks for hiring my friend Ethan, he's a diligent, selfless, and hard worker, and this place is only better for having him staffed.

Wish there were more Ingles around. I'm really getting to like them. Prices a bit high on some things, good on others. The veg coolers need to be cleaned or updated at this store, they look HORRIBLY GRUNGY with brown food rot all over the back glass. I may call the health depth to come inspect them.

Well I was new customer to the store. I didn't realize that in order to get sale price I had to have a card. I looked at receipt while walking to my car and I knew it didn't seem right. I notice I paid for 2 pks of 8 AHA water $9.18 I believe it was. So I took receipt back in and a lady by the name of Rita ask me if she could help me. I explained my issue, she went to a lady in customer service. Well she came back down from customer service and stepped over to the register where a pad a pen was. Well she picked it up slamed it on counter at customer service where I was standing and didn't explain to me I needed to fill this out, didn't say a word to me. I happened to look down at it seen what it was so I filled it out. After about 15 minutes she came back around where I was near customer service she passed me, the other lady says I'll help you figure that out. So other lady came back done my refund at the register. It was not my whole refund but the majority of it. My 1st time ever visit to this store. If I return I will make sure I don't get the rude lady Rita! Don't plan on returning no time soon! 😔

Great place to shop. Super clean, has extra wide aisle. All employees are helpful and nice. Big selection of everything. You can find things here you can't find everywhere else. Be sure and sign up for there discount card.

The deli is so awesome at this store, officially addicted to the gourmet chicken salad and the broccoli slaw. Everyone who works back there is super nice, polite, and helpful

The prices are a bit on the high side in comparison to Food Lion, however, there is a better selection of products available. The workers here are friendly and helpful. I can't stand the lighting in this store. It is simply too bright!

Love to shop at Ingles. Grocery bill is about the same as when I shop at Food Lion or Walmart Marketplace, some times lower. The store is really big, good layout design (easy to find everything and don't feel cramped), good lighting and clean. Employees are kind and helpful. The only thing I didn't like (and the reason for removing a star), was the already cooked food they have near the back. The regular fried chicken pieces and potato wedges are delicious, but the chicken strips I got for my son were very dried out and rubbery. The okra was rubbery as well. Its probably because we got it at an odd time though (around 2-3PM). They apparently just make it for the lunch crowd then just leave whatever's left in the buffet to dry out. Its most likely all amazing if you get there earlier than I did. If you're getting there late, go ahead and get the regular fried chicken but choose cold sides from the deli instead, like potato or macaroni salad.

Quick review of Ingles ...The Good: great staff, clean store, and considering todays climate, they stock most everything other stores do. The Bad: the produce section could have a wider selection. The meat department needs to keep much fresher stock. Most packages of meat I saw on 8/2/22 were marked "managers special" and many were un-meat like colors. Again, my opinions. Caveat emptor.

I actually wish there were more Ingles locations across the piedmont and Eastern NC. This location constantly has great meat selection and reasonable prices on weekly ads. The store is overall clean to be as old as it is. Some products not on weekly specials can be pricey but with savings they can be reasonable. I like the layout of the produce section and the freezer foods. The only issue is really parking and access for handicap individuals. The spaces are a little far away and the trip can be uphill. Its no way really around that but would be good to have a few curbside handicap spots.

I rated this store badly 4 months ago but popped in there again and my experience was better. Store was cleaner, stocked well, and cashier was pleasant. Only giving it 4 stars because I don't care for all the self checkouts.

Decent selection of groceries, but the staff are rather rude (and I mean every single one I interacted with), and the place has a peculiar smell to it. Not horrible, but not pleasant either. Anyway, just telling it like it is.

One of the last old grocery stores left, located in Walnut cove beside of Danbury NC. This is something of a discount grocery with some modern items, overall the store is clean but could use to advertise all their sale items because they are not all on there.The bathroom was mostly clean but really needs to have more than one stall. They have 4 checkouts but they are not obvious and are different than the modern ones.
