My motorcycle broke down saturday and I advised store assistant of my situation and she told me to park bike on side of building were he Jeep was parked. I made it back to store within 1 to 1.5 hours and there was a vehicle with 2 people inside checking out my bike....they seen me and my trailer and left....got a good look at them.......only person who knew that my bike was broken down was the store assistant that I spoke to.

Normally the people that work there are pleasant, but today I encountered a young worker who was quite rude and refused to sell me a lighter. I am a grown woman and she said since I look to young and didn’t have my ID with me I couldn’t buy a lighter, even though by law you don’t need an id to buy a lighter. She was working the counter at 11:15 on 12/05 and I will never shop at that particular location again because of her horrible behavior.

Very interesting place. I went an ordered $58 dollars worth of food. There's something about their it doesn't accept over $25 when using a card so they got their manager and she said it up with three different charges I asked did they want me to get out of the way of the people behind me? And to my amazement that they said no you stay right here until we have your order complete I thought it was very professional and also very nice way to go Taco Bell on 135 I will be back WC Johnson

I was treated very rude. The cashiers name is Tia. Not just once but twice I went in and she was working and she needs to find another job that does not deal with the public. The rating is low due to her. I go to this store very often and have never felt this way leaving.

Love shopping here my daughter's and I come in all the time everyone is so friendly and so very helpful 🙂 I'm in the store at least three times a week lol or more prices are great and it's so convenient for me and I love they stay open til 10

Honestly didn't even want to give one star. Some of the employees that work here obviously have a problem with me others are very nice. One of the managers looks like a child molester is very unfriendly. After having to return a few items that my bf had already picked up for the house he looked at me as if I had stolen the items I was returning even though I had the receipt. I feel as if if I'm being watched every time I try to shop. Also I thought DG required drug testing of it's employees. One of the newer cashier's is clearly strung out on drugs. For some reason she will greet other customers and be very friendly but as soon as I step up to the register her attitude completely changes and I've had my change basically thrown at me without so much as a have a nice day. Others may have better experiences but honestly ive gotten to the point I don't even want to shop at that particular DG. Maybe if they got some better employees.

Went into store in Walnut-cove at 220pm.Found what needed. Then went to registerstood in line a little bit. Then the other employeeWaved hand to go to next register. I did then stood there listening to them talk about internet with another person and cashier. So put things on counter and walked out These places should be grateful that they still have a job. So do your job.

I would LOOOVVVE to be able to get in car and simply go to this DG because it's local it's got what I need and everything would be great except I have been there 5 times too many when their card reader was either not working at all, only allowed me to pay for my items but wouldn't let me get any cash over when I know I have had the money in the bank every time but making matters worse it was a known problem by the employees because as I said it happened several times with me but after I would have to deal with this mess with the card reader it would actually start working again and read the card of the person behind me and would allow them to get cash over then the next person it would do 1 of the few BS things that it did to me! Now this all sounds like it would be SO very frustrating and it most absolutely was but believe it or not it only got worse by the way the employees handled these BS situations which would be them saying they don't know why it's not working correctly yet anyone with the common sense that's in a billy goats toenail ( in other words it takes zero common sense) they would have this simple problem fixed! I mean come on after this same BS happening this many times with me and mind you I am only 1 customer although as I said every time that I've been in there when it's been 1 of the 5 times when this has happened to me I'm not the only 1 it'd be happening to so as I said without any common sense these employees should of had this problem fixed and resolved a long time ago or they should have went ahead and put a big ass sign facing outside so anyone pulling in their parking lot would be able to see it and read it saying "DON'T bother coming to shop here unless you only carry cash because we are too stupid to get a card reader that works properly for every customer not just the lucky 1 out of every 3 customers!" I absolutely hate having to put out any bad reviews on businesses out here big or small but it's ridiculous to feel as if I have to write such a long but 100% negative true story otherwise I would feel even more wrong by not letting people know don't go to this store because still to this day their card reader does not work properly and I only know because anytime I just have to go there I make sure and bring cash but less than a week ago I seen two people's card get rejected and you could tell both of these people were not only surprised but of course upset because they knew that cousins are cards we're good!. Sorry about this book I had to write but I had to be honest to let y'all know to save you some time... Blessings and love to you all, Shan

Very Nice employee's always in stock with everything we need. We shop their at least 3 time a week.. only complaint is they need more coupons , but thats not a complaint on the store that is on corporate!!

The system does not take off all my digital coupons. I have to hold the line up and check them and show them on my phone what I am supposed to get. And sometimes the only reason I buy certain things is because I have a coupon. Not a happy shopper. And my family frequents this store 3+ times a week.

I hate to post bad reviews but after giving this dollar store many attempts and seeing other customers have the same issues with the card reader and the employees there look dumbfounded when the issues arise and don't know how to handle the problem, so you end up walking out with empty handed after shopping finding what you need then only to get up there and the card machine won't take your card for unknown various reasons and excuses. And all they can say is I don't know. I've went in there and the problem happened to me 3 different times. I literally wasted a trip going to this dollar store when I still had to end up going to walnut cove or sandy ridge in the first place and saved gas money and time. I've tried to give this store many chances because its a local store but if they can't work out there issues with the card reader or know how to be professional about it or try their best to fix the problem to keep the customers stopping there, then I can't take the chance anymore going there. Never had a problem at Sandy Ridge or any other store around, so I don't understand why that store can't get it right. Please fix this problem! Get a new card scanner and some professionals to fix it right and educate the employees how to fix it or punch in numbers manually, something, so you won't have to turned down customers and lose business because they don't have or carry cash in hand.

This store is a mess. The employees are always too "busy" to help customers find anything. There are very few people there that are not rude. I will not be visiting this store again.

the phone number they have listed DOESN'T work so don't bother to call but instead ull have to get up and go there when they may not even have what u need! It's ridiculous to call themselves a business when it's very unprofessional to not have a legitimate phone number THAT WORKS!

There are boxes and stock on carts that you have to move or try to shop around to get what your shopping for. When you check out you can be in line for up to 20 minutes with only one register going.

Just stopped in to get the girls a drink and a snack. I also need cream of mushroom soup and sour cream to finish dinner. Great they had everything I needed.

I was doing the roofing job up here a while back and this place was a lifesaver...There aren't many other shops in the vicinity where you can get something to drink and a snack.
