I haven't shopped at this location in several years, and I'm was very satisfied with my shopping experience. I only came here to look for some ladies apparel and shoes, as well as outdoor furniture. There's a lot of variety for the ladies apparel, and the prices were very affordable. The ladies shoes were nice as well but the size of shoes that I was looking for wasn't (Due to Covid retail stores get less variety of products). Some other things that I noticed about this store is that they carry some nice kitchen table sets, and side chairs that are modern and up to date. There's a decent selection of outdoor lounge chairs that are mainly set up in front of the store, the the door entrance. There's a small selection of vegetable seeds, that can be found in the back of the store. They also sell nice electronics such as speakers, flat screen tvs, headphones and earbuds. One of the most impressive sections at this store was the food and kitchen items. They carry rare snacks and have a lot of kitchen items like pots, pans, cast iron pans and much more. The lady that rang up my items, at the check out line was very respectful and friendly. I will be shopping here again soon.

Horrible customer service. The manager to this store is EXTREMELY rude and she lacks skills required to provide a positive shopping experience for her guests. I rather go somewhere else pay more for the same thing than deal with her horrible stank attitude.

LOVE IT HERE! Amazing prices and a huge selection store is very well organized and very clean. They have a great selection of stuff for the low! The customer service is lacking big time that’s the only reason why I’m giving 4 stars. Staff is very rude and unwelcoming. The staff on Patterson at the Roses Express are amazing. I just like the selection here better since it’s much larger.

I have shopped at Roses for probably 20+ years. There were many times when I was young and on my own that I furnished my apartments with 90% of the items coming from Roses. My mom has been a dedicated shopper as well. Two weeks ago, she had an accident where the doors closed on her and she fell as she was leaving the store. The doors continued to open and close as my daughter and another customer tried to help her get to her feet. My mom is paralyzed on the left side of her body due to a previous stroke, so she was not able to maneuver herself into a position to get up. One of the clerks at the store chastise my daughter saying that she should have been walking with my mom which made no sense at all because it doesn't negate the fact that the doors closed when they weren't supposed to. When I called to talk to the manager about the comments she not only stated that she was going to ever talk with the employee but said that corporate offers would call us in a few days to follow up on incident after they reviewed the footage from the video camera. Needless to say no one called and now they're trying to downplay the incidents and it wasn't that bad. My question is how would they know if it was that bad when they weren't the ones being slammed by a door? The idea that is nickel and dime store would try to gaslight a customer is ridiculous. I'm sure those doors are original installs, i.e. old and worn out. Speaking for myself, I won't shop there again.

Rose's is a good place to shop. However, the two locations in Winston Salem and Walkertown are not the best stocked. The clothing are tightly hung making it look like a thrift store. I love the prices. That's the best part.

I really don't have much bad to say on this store. It could use an update. I like it because of my budget. I can go here and put home goods or what have you on layaway and make payments on it. I got an entertainment system with a fireplace for a good deal. My only complaint with that is that it is chip wood and although it is heavy, some of the wood has already chipped. Okay place though.

Very surprised as I have not been in a Roses store in several years. Very clean, well organized, easy to navigate aisles, and an amazing variety of items. I was looking for specific items to donate to an elementary classroom and found them at a much better price than Wal-Mart. My daughter found some nice clothes for 11 year old son including a well known brand name pair of khakis for 1/3 the price at department stores. Lots of neat looking adult clothing with many items under $10.

I am so grateful to the employee that takes in the buggies. You have shown me they're still good honest people in the world. Roses has good and honest employees and I will forever be a faithful costumer because y'all had the decency to return my pocketbook instead of taking off with it. Praise God for good people!!!!

Great prices, large variety of clothing, household items, home decor items, electronics, yard decor, food. It's a one spot shopping for just about everything. I'm disabled and they provide an electric carts, which makes it easier for me to get around.

Has great prices. Even lower than Wal-Mart! The only drawback I found was the store was unclean, they also sold watches, but not watch batteries!! The store is also cluttered. Things are mixed up and not in their perspective places!

My mother and I visit the Roses Store in Walkertown North Carolina at least three times a month. We are very pleased with the store the customer service then meeting is the cleanest how things are organized and easy to get to. I have absolutely zero criticism of roses.

BEWARE.. Great until you have to return something... OMG what a hassle. I have never been through so much BS before in another store. Their profit must really be hurting to give someone such BS... main cashier kept my receipt by mistake. She told them and still the home office went through a month of receipts before they would refund my purchase. I mean BOTH head cashiers told them they recalled it and it was left cause one of the items had to be returned prior due to wrong kind.. STILL, Even when they found most of it and I had another part of it on another receipt, ITS WAS ONLY a few bucks left, the home office had to still again go through the MONTH OF RECEIPTS to allow that... I MEAN REALLY ROSES? you hurting THAT BAD and DON'T EVEN TRUST OWN PEOPLE! trust me consumers, be careful that if you get something you not have a return NIGHTMARE. BEWARE.. no store is worth such a hassle. I am staying with walmart. At least they have a brain and use common sense.. NOT coming back to this store again. They have such a money issue, that tight not to honor things, and have to LOOK THROUGH a months receipt for three bucks, that is ONE DAMN HURTING STORE.. knowing it came from there and knowing the cashiers told them the receipt had been left too. Pretty pathetic.

Not much has changed over the many years this store has been here. Discount prices on just about everything. Good for if you need something in a pinch but I'd probably go somewhere else next time. More for nostalgia than anything.

You know roses is not Target, but it has a HomeTown feel. Like back in the day when I was a kid. Not so much nickel-and-dime, but just a HomeTown feel. They've really improve the quality of some of the items that they've gotten. They're purchasing agent is doing a much better job than in the past. The Isles have become better and easier to move through end I like it overall. If I need something quick or something did you wouldn't think that you could purchase elsewhere, roses seems to have it. Like plastic tablecloths. It's just one of those items that's my go-to store. And doilies which you can't find anywhere.

Good deals on everyday stuff, don't expect brand name electronics or designer clothes. Its a level or so up from dollar store merch. One thing that is a downside is the location. Seedy and shady strip mall with craigslist lurkers hanging out poppin' pills. Just take a glance around the lot the next time you roll up and see how many weirdos are just sitting in their beat up cars, watching people in a creepy way.

Prices can be great on things and quality can be bad. Or good. Got name brand jeans for 3 bucks one time. Other times I get a shirt and it tears when I look at it lol

Nice staff, seem helpful anytime I've ever asked a Q they helped me...Haven't been treated like it's the end of the world when I made returns or exchanges...I enjoy the relaxed shopping atmosphere here.....

Good selection of alot of different items from clothing to cooking. Not a big selection of mens shoes or hardware stuff but still neat to walk around and see what you'll find!

Roses is a good place..allot of stuff is older model this and that. Alott of things are higher priced than Walmart which is wierd. Would love to see more registers open and more assistance on the floor.

Went right in the store looking for a cell phone holder. The Assistant Manager there “Mylee” was so helpful, helping me with my selection. AAA+ staff!!!!!
