There's few employees there to assist with any questions. However, the grooming people there are the best! We will only go see Devon who does amazing with our furbabies especially since one has a spinal issue and the other is 110lbs! 🙂

The staffs are really doing there job. They really let you know what you need to do and give you information before they give you the stuffs that you need. I really wanted to buy a janitor fish but she won't give me because she said we have a small aquarium and janitor fish really grows big but I have insisted. Lols. I just wanted to add fish to my aquarium. Over all, I really appreciate that they don't just consider having a sales but really inform the client what needs to do and suggest the best. Kudos to the 2 girls in fish section.

Pet Smart groomers were so kind and caring with my puppy. They answered my questions to help my puppy next visit with them for grooming. They also helped me to know that there is a lot of picky eater puppy’s. I am grateful to them for helping me. His grooming was great.

This last visit was terrible. Let me be clear, the vets are always great. The issue with today's visit is more the abnormal than norm. I stood there for 10 minutes before the desk person acknowledged my presence. She was on the phone and only started to address me by whispering she would help me when she saw me recording the sign, not her. I would not record anyone without their permission.

We had been here for puppy training and the store many times and it’s been wonderful. This negative review is strictly towards the grooming department. We dropped our dog off for a light trim and bath as well as a nail trimming. When we first arrived we where greeted by a very rude women that asked in the most condescending “why does he need to be shaved” we explained he did not need to be shaved and just needed a light trim and nail clipping she recommended a deshedding shampoo or something like that (I have no idea what I paid for because our receipt just had the total) in addition to the trimming. We were told it would be 2 to 3 hours? So we left and about 45 minutes later we got a call that he was finished. When we arrived back we were handed our dog and when he looked exactly the same we inquired if he had been trimmed like we asked and the girls exact words where (I dunno anything about that). We were told that he had been bathed and had their deshedding shampoo as well as a nail trimming. We asked if they could please trim him which they agreed. They took him to the back and immediately started trimming his nails? Which they had just lied and told us they already did. All in all we paid 60 dollars for our dog to get a bath have his nail trimmed so poorly he now has hangnails all over and get a 5 minute trimming NEVER AGAIN. I believe a lot of the staff is nice but the one women that I believe is the manager is very very condescending full of herself and rude. Every other staff member we encountered was polite but I believe this one women overshadows all that with her unprofessional attitude disorganization and overall poor business and management skills. Take the few month wait and go to complete pet care up the road, we certainly will be next time.

Gabriella was incredibly helpful and friendly. She gave her honest opinions and recommendations, was patient and great with my kids. She took her time with helping us and answered all of my questions. We went in for African Dwarf Frogs and left with the frogs, some guppies, and a new Syrian Hamster. Plus of course all the food and needed accessories. It was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a PetSmart.

This review is for the grooming department at the Petsmart in Cary on Walnut St. When I made the appointment, I noted that my pet (she’s an XL breed dog) needed sedation before nail trimming as my sister told me that she took her two pets (also dogs) for grooming at the Cary location and the groomers sedated her dogs to complete the nail trimming. Before bringing my pet inside for her appointment, I talked with Hailey, who was the assigned groomer, about my pet’s need for sedation and how I had previously boarded my pet with Petsmart and when she was taken across the hall for grooming, the groomer did not trim her nails during that appointment, so it was important that my pet’s nails were trimmed during this appointment. That was the primary reason for the grooming appointment. Hailey explained that Petsmart did not offer sedation, but some customers give their pets calming chews two hours before bringing them. I told Hailey that my pet was not already sedated since my sister told me that Petsmart sedated her dogs.I then explained to Hailey that my pet did not like being high up on the table, but I would be waiting in the parking lot if Hailey needed for me to come inside to hold my pet during her nail trimming or to calm her, if needed. Hailey said that she would leave my pet on the floor if she could not get my pet on the table. About 15 minutes later, Hailey called to say that my pet would not get on the table (I already informed Hailey that my pet did not like being on the table) and that she would need to crate dried so the wait time would be an hour or so, so if I wanted to drive around and come back to pick my pet up, I could. I told her no, that I would waiting in the parking lot if she needed to call me.About 40 minutes later, Hailey called to say that my pet was ready. I walked inside and the first thing Hailey said was, “we couldn’t trim her nails.” Hailey did not ask me to come inside to help calm my pet or to hold her so that her nails could be trimmed, just that they couldn’t do her nails. I told Hailey that I would not bring my pet back for services again.Two times at this location and my pet’s nails were not trimmed during either appointment. I do not recommend this location for grooming services.

Excellent location for your pet's needs! Staff is pleasant. Bella, my Pomeranian, enjoys running around the store on her leash. I can always come here and get her favorite foods. Hill's Science Diet is a science-based diet. Small Bites Chicken Meal When she leaves the store, the staff always gives her a treat.

I've had 3 very frustrating customer service experiences where I have an appointment and arrive on time, only to be told it will be a long wait before they're able to take my dog. What's the point of an appointment if it's consistently not kept?! (Grooming salon)

I like going here for 2 reasons. #1 there's a employee (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) she's a mature woman and she's so incredibly friendly. I hope you treat her well! #2 They stock their Science Diet cat food appropriately. It's rare that I come into this store w/o leaving with what I need for my kitties. Thanks PetSmart!

False information sale....unsanitary grooming. Puppy came out smelly and chopped face no cut on body she looks like a mut. BUT MANAGER waived fees and refunded my grooming package. Staff is very helpful, BUT no on grooming...watched you tube and fixed her choppy cut.

I arrived at this petsmart store at 9pm when they close. I asked The manager if I could come in to grab a very quick couple of things she gladly said yes With A smile. I had asked a couple questions about some products and they answered them with a smile and were very polite about it's very Knowledgeable. I had only came in with $20 to spend and when I came to check out I was over by just a little bit The absolutely lovely and amazing cashier Cayla Very kindly and sweetly offer to pay for the remaining amount It's such a rare occasion that you run into customer service that she had offered She was such an angel and you could tell she was just such a sweet individual to do that for me it truly made my dad. Cayla, you May and my dog banjo's day Thank you so much and I wish you the best

Very friendly staff. Only issue is that walk-in appointments for nail trims do not start until 10:30 (when they open at 9). I definitely understand prioritizing appointments, but I do wish it was written somewhere on the website so I didn’t have to drive 45 minutes to the store just to have to drive back home.

REVIEWS WARNING: a famous comedian with lots of followers entering the store was offended. Any reviews over the past month have all been about racism and the mean manager, Mike. If you look at all of these reviews, 99% are from out of state; people who have either no reviews anywhere else or multiple reviews in another state and just this one review in Wake Forest. No mention of racism prior to a month ago nor any mention specifically of the manager, Mike, then all of a sudden it blows up with out of state reviews about racism? I haven't personally seen any racist actions in this location or I would have called them out myself. Sounds like someone got everyone they know to make reviews on a place that offended them. 🤷. ANYWAY, Devon and grooming is awesome and takes extra special care with my medium sized dog who has had spinal surgery last year. We also have a large, St Bernard mix that has been very well taken care of in the grooming salon. As for the rest of the store, everyone is usually very friendly and helpful when you approach them for assistance. Unfortunately, some of the dog food and cat food prices have gone through the roof. Banfield is not usually very helpful or friendly but I believe they are a separate business within the store. Other than that, no complaints.

Super disappointed. I’ve been coming here for awhile for cat supplies . Recently my cat passed away and we adopted a lab mix . A lady from banfield came up to me and told me I couldn’t have my puppy on the floor because she didn’t have her shots . (She’s had all her shots ) and how she’s not 10 weeks and will get more sick get she is 11 weeks . then told me how enthical breeders are and how the food i was feeding her was garbage . Then tried to sell me a 20 dollar coupon book . Honestly so disgusted by this and will not return , I’ll also be returning all the pet toys I bought and will get them somewhere else

Beware when you go into this store if you do not look like the majority. My dear friend, the comedian Darren, had an awful experience with the Manager Mike, and his crew. His dog was new to the store and was overly excited/happy about getting groomed.....and let's say, instead of making the pet owner feel at ease (because they are the professionals and have seen all different types of behaviors from pets) they insulted him and his dog in an effort to escalate the situation and make matters worse, so they could refuse him service. Such a wicked tactic. There was a clear difference in how they treated him.verses the other less pigmented customers. Then staff follows him and laughs as he walks to his car. I guess to show that HATE WON. (So they think. God sees all.)I don't know what's going on down there in NC, but I know Petsmart as a company doesn't tolerate such racism or foolishness, being that their success is because they foster an environment that respects all human beings and pets. Leave your hatred at home. Walk in as professionals.

As a former employee I may be biased, but I truly love the staff there. They take every aspect of the job seriously. Whether, it's taking care of the animals we have in store (obviously first priority), followed by teaching the customers what they need and don't need, and finally the smiling faces the great you and check you out at the register. Anything you need, they have it! Any advice you need, they have it! If you smile at them, they will make sure you leave smiling with what you need .MIKE REALLY HAS BUILT A GREAT TEAM FOR THE SITE AND FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!I can even vouche for the animals on how well they keep them safe.
