Honestly I had never heard of this place. I googled ER Vets on a Sunday as we were having an emergency. I called, set an appointment and went in. They took care of my fur child. They were fast and very friendly. They explained what they were doing and why. They were patient with my baby because he was scared. I would recommend them to everyone.

It’s so easy to make appointments online, sometimes even with same day availability. Wake Forest staff is super friendly and great with thorough explanations. As of right now, only one of my dogs is seen there but I will start to bring my other dog as soon as he’s due for routine preventative care in the new year. I highly recommend Petfolk for GP/Urgent Care needs and getting the membership so that you don’t have to pay for exam fees each visit.

My dog hates doctor visits until today. We were welcomed to his new place where the veterinarians and staff are amazing. Soft spoken and warm , it made my dog calm along with the wonderful treats he got for being a good boy. The location is perfect with plenty of parking. Very calm atmosphere.

We are very grateful that Pet Folk in Wake Forest are open on Sundays, we needed to take our sweet Pity, Pixie to see a Vet and everywhere was closed, and the Emergency Vets that were open, had a 4 hour waiting time and were extremely expensive, one even said it was $250 just to walk in the door. Pet Folk got us in within 30 minutes, and we were shocked at how affordable they were, but the best part is their wonderful staff. Gaby was very nice, kind and caring, she went above and beyond helping us, and the Vet was awesome as well. We are going to have our pets records moved to Pet Folk and they will be our family Vet from now on. I highly recommend them.

The Veterinarian was very thorough in explaining to me what made my dog sick . Each staff member from start to finish were so kind . My dog runs to them and gives out kisses each time . He feels comfortable around the staff .

I’ve found our new vet. The technician was very nice during intake. The vet was kind and thoroughly explained reasons for my dog’s cough (there are many). When I told him my concerns he addressed all of them and gave me several options on how to proceed with my dog’s care. They examined the fecal sample I brought in and gave me the results quickly. Upon discovering that she didn’t have what I was afraid she had, he didn’t push any medication that she didn’t need. Both the technician and vet were upfront about the cost of the meds. They’re open 7 days a week and in a convenient location with ample parking.

bring my new puppy Leo with some tummy concerns. The place was super nice and clean, but the staff was even better. The girls who assited us first were super nice and the doctor was very good. Super sweet staff! Took really good care of my min pin (Reese) and made him feel at home. They were quick to figure out what was wrong and acted quickly. Wonderful experience at Petfolk in Wake Forest. Took my dog in for a sick visit. Our mobile vet was booked & could not see her. Kayla and Dr. J. Tufts were AMAZING with Riley. Took time with us. Discussed treatment options for current issue. I was able to discuss some ongoing issues Riley has had to be sure they had her full history. Really great experience. Warm and professional staff. Clinic is clean, beautiful and welcoming. We will be back for her follow up visit and future needs. Such a blessing to find a wonderful office so close by that we’re able to see us today. I was able to make an appointment immediately. Was taken to an exam room as soon as I walked in. A nurse came into the room immediately and took my dogs information and did the initial exam. Shortly afterwards the doctor came in and did her exam. Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful. Price was not outrageous. Would not hesitate to go back again

Had to take my puppy back to check his ears. He still wouldn't let anyone look deep inside. We will try oral sedation in a couple days if that doesn't worked they can sedate him . Staff and Dr are friendly but I was shocked at the price for sedation just to clean and look at his ears. I understand they are a no stress to your pet, but the quote was as much as his nuerter. I definitely will be going back

This was the second time I’ve been to Petfolk with my pugs (1x for each) as my regular vet wasn’t available for an urgent need. They have always been fantastic! Super friendly, knowledgeable and quick! My babies love the people there and we will definitely keep them in mind for our pet needs! If we didn’t already love our vet, we would switch in a heartbeat!

I absolutely love this place. Every doctor that has seen my cat is always amazing. They were so loving towards my cat and made the appointment a breeze. I also love having a vet that’s open everyday and has same day appointments. I will always trust all the doctors and nurses there with all my babies. They also never try to force procedures or anything on you. They are very honest about what is wrong with your animal and very price transparent. I highly recommend!

I had an all around wonderful experience at the Wake Forest Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care hospital. I was able to get a same day appointment for a skin issue my 15 year old paralyzed pug developed. The vet tech Quentin was extremely welcoming and caring with my old girl and Dr. Sawyer was very knowledgeable and came up with a great treatment plan. It was wonderful to get the quick care my girl needed and will definitely be back. I highly recommend Petfolk!

Petfolk is amazing! I am so thankful that I found them. I was going to a vet that i just didn't have a great feeling about and I was in an emergent situation and went to Petfolk in North Hills. They were so friendly and easy to get in with. The staff seemed very attentive and on it. The place was clean and well maintained. I love how high tech they are with their app functionality as well; you can text with someone when you need something. Amazing customer service. I got the care plan which seems to be a great way to go. I ended up coming back for a follow up and saw Dr. Heinze and she was INCREDIBLE! She was able to diagnose my dog with a meat allergy when we were really perplexed and confused about what was going on. She works out of the Wake Forest location but happened to be there that day. Now I go to WF location to go see her, but I am happy to go to any of the offices, which is another great thing, that they have a few locations, and they seem to all be consistent. I obviously highly recommend them!

We love the folks at Petfolk Wake Forest! Such a great staff and they take such great care of both of our dogs. Strongly recommend getting the membership, it quite literally pays for itself within 1 or 2 visits. It waives the $99 visit fee each time you go. Since typical vet visits are so stinking expensive, we would previously try to wait a couple days for more of the minor stuff to see if things would resolve on their own to avoid a big vet bill. But since the visits are free with the Petfolk membership, we bring our dogs in frequently, as soon as we see something pop up. It’s a win win for everyone! Also they have appointments available pretty much daily, so we don’t have to worry about waiting when things do come up! Noticed my dogs ear was red and itchy at 9:30 last night, booked an appointment next day and had a selection of multiple appointment times to choose from!

This was a sad visit because it was to euthanize my 13 year old cat who had kidney disease. Though I have known that this was the inevitable outcome, it was still sad. I guess that's because I loved her for so long!The staff was fantastic. This was not a time for me to be chatty and things progressed petty quickly which was appropriate. Because they used a catheter, there was only one "stick" for Charm. Then the Vet came in and administered first the sedative so she "went to sleep" and then the euthanasia drug to stop her heart. I held her on my lap and was able to feel her heart's last beats. A very peaceful way for her to move out of sickness and onto whatever is next. I feel that I honored her by recognizing that it was time for me to let go and Petfolks helped me through a tough time.Thank you very much to Petfolks for making a difficult visit as easy as possible!

I'll be switching to Petfolk from now on. Today was the second time visiting this office and I had zero problems getting an appointment either time, and both times were urgent. Also, I tried getting an appointment with my regular local vet that I have a "plan" with before contacting Petfolk both times, and both times I was told the earliest my dog could be seen was days later. Petfolk had no issues seeing my dog the same day both times. Everyone I dealt with today were very kind and loving to my dog and answered any and all questions that I had. DO NOT hesitate to contact them with any of your pet's needs.

My dog had a severe eye Infection and my current Vet could not see him until next week. Called 5 places and the only Vet willing to see him today was the new Petfolk in Wake Forest. It was a 10 star experience! Dr. Charles Robinson III and his Assistant were beyond amazing and my Dog will be on the road to recovery soon. Brand new office and super clean. Since I have 3 Dogs, Petfolk will now have 3 new Clients!

We were impressed with the staff nurse (Gaby) and Dr Tufts. Very helpful , thorough and informative with our GR who had post op issues from surgery elsewhere. I will recommend the practice to others.
