The absolute worst grooming service ever. After a reschedule, after a 3 hour wait. We were the first appointment. 8 am. Took 3 hours. And this is the job they did. The lead groomer no less! Don't take your pets here. If I could post a 0 I would.

Today I went in to get a bottle of Stability. There was one worker there who was incredibly rude, I’m assuming he was having a bad day or just entirely over working there. He is bald with a long white beard. He didn’t acknowledge me at the register, then when he did go to one I assumed it was because there was a line forming so I went to that one and asked if he was open. He clearly heard me and still chose not to respond. When he did call me I was trying to hand him the bottle and he didn’t grab it so I just set it on the very cluttered counter. The whole time I felt like an inconvenience to him, and he seemed extremely pissed off. His customer service is poor and I thought about just forgetting the purchase and leaving but it was something my fish needed so I continued to stand there. It was probably the worst experience I’ve had there especially with him. I dread coming to this petco I and probably won’t anymore. Everyone working there seems miserable and like the customers are an inconvenience to them.

Got a ferret from here recently and she is an awesome pet! She is exuberant and playful! Didn't use to shop at Petco much but they have a great store and selection and friendly employees

Needed dog food for a familiar brand Diamond and I normally get it from tractor supply but the three that I went to did not have my brand in stock, so I googled and found out Petco had it. I drove down to the Petco in Wake Forest they had it right at the front door so it was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

We attended 12 weeks of dog training with Katelynn. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Our dog (and the humans in my family!) learned so much highly recommend!

Everyone is soo friendly here! Special shout out to FRANKIE he showed my kids starfish, bearded dragon, and a ferret up close and personal and was just super kind and above and beyond to take the time out of his morning to make my kid’s day!! Thank you Frankie!!

Definitely not a good experience. I have a hamster and I'm pretty new to hamsters. I came in looking for suitable sand for her sand bath. I was looking at reptile sand since I was told by a reliable source that reptile sand without calcium and dyes is safe for hamsters. The manager saw me looking and asked if he could help. I told him what I was looking for and he directed me to sand baths for chinchillas. I did buy the sand, but later found out that chinchilla sand is dangerous for hamsters. The manager acted like he knew about hamsters and even tried to sell me their monthly program in an effort to help me "get more money back" when really it just takes more money than it's worth. He was quite upset when I turned him down for the program because I needed to discuss it with my husband. He said if I needed to fill it out then I needed to do it in the store so they could get store credit. Definitely won't go back to a Petco for help with my animals.

I went to look at this aquarium kit and had some questions about it. The staff member opened the box so I could see how it looked and how it was put together. I needed to think about it so ended up ordering online the next day. Can’t wait to stock it with some small fish.

Petco makes it so easy to provide non-emergency care for my five fur kids so I don't have to run to the vet all the time.Your staff of customer service "advisors" are always helpful, courteous, and have never treated me like I'm stupid or over-protective.

Employee blowing horn? must've been because she was running late for work? While I was opening my vehicle door, she was zipping to pull in on my blind side. She sped to another empty spot and then rushed to get in store. There were at least 20 other parking spots all around. There was no need to blow horn at me? I knew she was an employee bc I questioned her about the incident as she hurried in store. Running late does not justify blowing horn angrily at a customer. It was early in the morning. It wasn't my fault she was running late.

My review is mostly pertaining to Katelynn S. The certified dog trainer at this petco location. The store is great too but most of my experience is with Katelynn. I adopted my first puppy back in October, and she was a challenge in her beginning stages as all pups are! I was recommended Katelynn by some friends of mine, and was a little hesitant because I didn’t really know if a four week program would really help me or my baby dog learn anything… but it really did. I was so surprised and happy with how amazing Katelynn is. She is firstly so kind and compassionate with the puppies! You see horror stories about some trainers and how they handle pups but she is absolutely amazing with them. It’s like she has this little dog whisperer gift. She also trains the pup parents which is so important to continue training outside of the classes! I didn’t know too much about proper technique going in, but I learned everything I needed to through the sessions! The amount of times I looked like an idiot too while I was learning… she was amazing through the whole process! Goals are set at the beginning of the training period, and all my goals were met and all my expectations very much exceeded. I really couldn’t recommend Katelynn and her techniques enough! I’m definitely going to sign up for the advanced classes for my baby Nova, and as well as bring my next adopted baby to her for training when the time comes! Definitely try out a training program with Katelynn!!

Surprisingly there weren't many customers there around 1:30. Phone purchasing is always slow so I expected that, but 2 young guys really acted as though they didn't want to help. I was told to go to different locations twice while they made small conversation and giggles with customers they were serving. I mean really there's a time and place for that. We are there to purchase and move on. It's a workplace not a Social Hour. You need a real Supervisor that can keep things moving in courteous way...Please respect us and our time. You're getting paid for yours. We are not.

The employees were so friendly and professional. They had great knowledge and really cared about the pets. Only gave 4 stars due to the lacking section for small animals. The knightdale store had so much in that area, but every other petco I go to now, barely have anything for hamsters

Proud supporters of Paws for Life NC animal rescue, ask about how to donate, adoption events most Saturdays. Check out the kitty condos for potential adoptions and animal supply donations can be dropped off there as well. Very well educated staff, lots of animals to choose from, groomers as well! Beautiful store

It's a fantastic store. The service is always quick! The store is always tidy and clean. PetCo is quite well arranged! The staff is always polite and helpful. Excellent product selection and value. This PetCo location always has just what I'm looking for. It's always entertaining to look at all of the varied creatures they have. Excellent shopping location. When I order online, the products are always ready when we arrive. It's a pleasant atmosphere all around.

This was my first visit to Groomer at Wake Forest NC . Flannery is a new groomer & she did an amazing job with my Parti-Yorkie! Staff very friendly!! Will definitely go back to see Flannery!!

I an new to the area and my first stop was for dog food.Staff were friendly and store was clean. One employee even shared a great tip on a sale item.Which I snagged for my little dog.Overall a great experience. Ill be back often.

Great staff in the grooming department! My dog had such a good time and the groomers are all so sweet. I understand they have some AC problems and I'm not understanding of why such a large company could have these minor issues. Management needs to get a hold on this problem.

I’ve spent $400 since getting a terrible grooming job on Sunday. My dog has razor burns on his ears but I was told by the groomer he had a possible ear infection because he kept shaking his head which he didn’t have when I dropped him off .He was shaking his head. His butt hole was infected because the groomer must have really gotten in there to cut his butt area; it was super red on Sunday when I picked him up and he was scooting on the floor.She says he had cuts on his lips which is possibly an injury that was there prior to drop off though I didn’t see or notice any damage prior to drop off. He spent the day at the vet and came home with antibiotics, three medications, and a cone.I will NEVER use them or any retail groomer again especially not these ppl.Then they lied to me to boot. They cancelled his original appointment due to technical problems in their system and my dog was rebooked at 8am a week later. I was promised a discount for the inconvenience but didn’t get it.

If I could I will give 0 ⭐️. To begin I told the associate I wanted the cut fluffy, she shave the 5 months old toy poodle to the lowest with the clippers. Didn’t clean the ears, some nail were cut some left uncut. The puppy didn’t have an odor when I dropped it off, when I picked it up it smell bad like if she used wipes on it, not pleasant. My five years old daughter asked me to bathe the puppy. The puppy is traumatized won’t eat or play, will shake sometimes and I waited 24hrs after the service to write this. $60.00 for what. Even I’m stressed to see the puppy like that, to be honest I didn’t sleep all night that’s how bad it is. Never going back.
