I purchased birthday cards for my younger sister today, and I'm overall very satisfied with my selections. The variety of themes with various degrees of funny, religious, and age appropriate messages is outstanding. Excellent stop for your greeting card needs! By the way, I ended up getting my sis a total of three cards. Each has its own character and complete what I wanted to say collectively. Dollar General has become my one stop shop, hands down. Kudos. I'm impressed!

If I could give zero stars I would… That being said, DG has always been my go to for small things I need and just about every time I go in, either aisles are blocked with carts filled with stock, they are out of a lot of items, and at least 1 of the 2 employees working is downright rude! Not to mention, their WiFi stinks but they have an app to use in the store! Their response is call corporate, WE can’t do anything about it. Well, I gave it another shot today, found all I needed and went to checkout. I only seen one cashier/employee. They always have a sign that they won’t give change bc they are short so you have to pay with exact amount or with a card. Why is it that since this pandemic and alleged “change shortage” that DG is the only store that is doing this? I was in the process of finding the correct change in my wallet (21.97) and had 2- twenties, and one dollar bill laying on the counter. The cashier then snatches all the dollar bills up of the counter and I guess she was going to make the change but I did not hand her the money. I was thrown off by this and said hey wait I’m looking for the change! She then says well I have other customers waiting!! So you’re just rushing me out the store? not to mention I have waited in that line before for like 10 minutes for my turn! Nasty Dirty store and ATTITUDES!My business will be taken elsewhere!!!

Store needs an upgrade...Isles to narrow. Stock piled up, cant hardly get in front door..Need more staff, lady worked to death.Love to shop $ General, but definitely needs an larger store.

Great selection of discount items. Got a plaid blanket for $5, super soft. Friendly staff greets you at the door.

Handiest place in town! Great bargains and excellent variety. Location saves me time and money (Walmart on the other side of town!). Friendly staff familiar with all convenience items!

I was spending well over $200 a month at this Dollar General. Sometimes I overspend and on this particular occasion I was $1.00 short. The first cashier had it out for me anyway and stepped aside and another woman started ringing me up. I'm guessing she was the manager, she refused to deduct $1.00 from the total. I got a little P.O.d but asked if I could go out to the car to find a dollar. She still refused. A friend came thru the door and was going to loan me a dollar and she still wouldn't allow me to make the purchase. The bill was over $40.00. Then she threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I meant to call the main office but decided to just start going somewhere else. If you want to go to a Dollar General go to the one in Lilesville. The store in Lilesville is cleaner and they have a better selection. The Wadesboro Dollar General is an older store but I went there anyway because it was convenient. If you are short on cash the Dollar General in Lilesville will deduct an item for you and they are friendly and pleasant. I would give the one in Lilesville 5 stars.

I love any dollar general . They r smaller an have almost what I look for. Need to put in more freezer section an ad a little more to them .

Okay Dollar General get your act together you got to keep house clean so people can walk up and down them you'll sell more stuff and maybe you won't get sued somebody slipping and breaking your neck in that place other than that had a great time thank you very much
