We stayed here overnight On our way to the Outer Banks! The place is great, it’s clean, the slots are level, and it is full hook ups! Plus, it looks like they have an abundance of amenities! I wish I would’ve done my research a little sooner, I would’ve loved to have staying there for a week or two. We will definitely be coming back there for sure!!! Oh, and they have an awesome large dog park as well:) We stayed right next to it in slot 43! And the lady on the phone that I had spoke with was just awesome!!

Fayetteville RV Resort is one on the best RV spots I have stayed in. What makes this place special is cleanliness of the shared spaces, cabins are beautiful, and the RV spots are well maintained. What separates it from the rest is the fairly large exercise room and the amenities they offer on a regular basis. They seem to have some type of event for campers to participate in almost every month as well as a variety of food trucks who frequent the location. They most special thing about this location is the people. It is pretty obvious they love what they do. The customer service, friendly attitudes and desire to make your stay the best possible is their priority. If you have not stayed here, go. You will not be disappointed.

We visited this place this weekend. This review is based off my experience visiting the campground, interaction with people that stay here, with employee and what we saw. When we called before visiting the lady that answered was nice and helpful, answered all my questions. When we visited the employee was a little preoccupied but after returning the visitors ticket she must have realized how she was before because she apologized. The place is not far from post which is great. The ground, for the most part looked very clean, some people areas (with kids stuff) are messy.RV parking spaces are pretty close where the monthly staying people are. Space to drive through the camp ground is pretty tiny. They want you driving through really slow (7.5) Some intersections don't have stops signs which I can see being annoying even though you have to drive really slowly.I did like how they have additional parking spaces off to the side I guess if you have extra vehicles or some guests. They have a lot of community events and the area is flat. People we talked with seemed to enjoy their stay but insinuated some people may have problems with employees. They also said there are a lot of children usually running around.& not sure if it was just because it was the weekend or not but the employee that was on duty couldn't do certain things for the guests so they had to wait until another time to get it handled. *Not sure how much of an issue that would be later. We would have loved to stay here, just because of the price and location to post but the wait list process is ridiculous and not transparent in the fact you don't know how many people are on the wait list before you. This sucks because (not saying they would) they could put others before you or there could be nobody in front of you and you'd just be stuck paying $450+ (example but around there) weekly equaling 1,800+ a month Vs what the monthly (way cheaper) price would be for who knows how long.Hopefully they'll open more spaces or adjust the wait process to provide more predictability for guests but I would recommend you check it out!

The Staff are very friendly and helpful. My pup and I stayed a few months while traveling for work and I highly recommend planning a stay here. The cabin was spotless and bug free and there is always a fun event scheduled on the calendar. The Resort is very well organized and it showed from check in to check out.Rooms: Very clean and No Bugs

We often stop by the RV resort since it is so close the the highway, ie 95 north or south. The sites are big and the campgrounds are clean. The staff could not be friendlier. We stayed Easter weekend and did the adult Easter Egg hunt. It was so much fun and the prizes were spectacular. We stayed in Florida for 3 months and the Rv resort did not even spend one tenth that was spent this weekend at Fayetteville RV resort. They also had a pot luck which they spilled most of the food. Ben and Rachel the managers are extremely helpful and aware of everything going on in the parkSafety: Never worried once about safetyWalkability: The nature trail is amazingFood & drinks: Easter weekend had a potluck and adult beverages and snacks

This is ac really nice RV park!! It’s right off I-95 so it is convenient! This was our second time staying here. The staff is so friendly and they have so many events going on for kids and adults. They have a laundry room on site and a nice playground! They have WiFi that worked great and they have a propane fill up station as well! We enjoyed our visit and hope to come back!!Safety: We feel very safe at the RV park!Walkability: There isn’t much to walk too. I think a gas station up the road and the nearest grocery store is about 15 mins.

If going to be in the area Fayetteville Resort is a wonderful place to stay. We travel with work and was lucky enough to stay here for just short of 2 years. Hated to leave, it is the best park we've stayed in and we've been traveling 10 years. The park is so well maintained and always something going on. The management (Rachel &Ben) are amazing and all the girls in the office are the best, all the guys that maintain the grounds are wonderful. Everyone is so amazing. I can't say enough great things about this park. Meet the most amazingly wonderful people. Definitely hope to go back.

Really nice camp ground. We had planned to be just a one night stop but due to storms we extended a few days. Staff was very friendly and worked hard to get us into a great long pull thru 50 amp site. Nice grounds, two pools, mini-golf, laundry. Close to Fayetteville and not too far from Raleigh NC. The US Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville is AWESOME (and free).

Another great stay at Fayetteville RV Resort. We haven’t been in 2 years because we moved out of state. I liked this campground before but LOVE it now! The management is so much friendlier and welcoming. We ended up extending our stay another week. Gina at the front was always friendly and helpful. The events they had planned were amazing and so much fun. We can’t wait to plan our next visit. Thanks for a great time. 😊

I was trying to check their website for availability to stay a few weeks while visiting family in the area. The website has no published rates (I always question what a facility is hiding if they won't show rates). Checking availability, you have to read a long list of cancellation/refund policies and click the "I agree to the terms and conditions" button, which I did. A pop-up said "You must accept the terms and conditions". So I go through it again and again and again. I could never get to a webpage for availabilty. No rates posted. I lost interest in this place.

Great location but management is horrible and shady. My family and I stayed there for about 7 months a few years back and the events were great. The Event team did amazing but hardly got credit. Management took credit for almost everything. Management is not nice to anyone who doesn’t fit their standards personally. We had a lot of friends there who are no longer there because of the management. They made rules for everyone but never followed them theirselves. They allowed their dog in the event center with a full kitchen (where food is prepped) and in the office but nobody else could do that. Their kids were allowed in the event center, unsupervised and they were all under 13. Management targeted certain guests all the time and if you worked there you couldn’t be friends with whoever the managers didn’t like or else you got in trouble. Overall this place would be absolutely amazing if it weren’t for their Managers currently there.

This is a wonderful RV park. It's large and spacious, has lots of trees and beautiful landscaping, the sites spaced a good distance apart, and it is quiet. Many great amenities such as 2 laundry rooms, 2 pools, 2 bath houses, put-put golf for the kids, a playground, a lovely fitness center, and 2 dog parks. The people at the front desk are very nice as well. We are retired, travel a lot, and have been to hundreds of RV parks and I would say this is in the top 5 that we have stayed at. I highly recommend ... you won't be disappointed!

My girls brought me here for a Father's Day surprise. Such a well kept, clean, friendly, beautiful place. Top notch staff and lots of fun. Affordable cabins, family and pet friendly! Highly recommended! Lots of activities for the family...swimming pools, ping pong, mini golf, walking trail, basketball court, 24-hr. gymThe only suggestions I have... The cabin bed mattresses are on the firm side, so.consider bringing an extra soft layer (thick blanket or pillow top) to sleep on. Also our cabin was directly under a very bright street light, so consider bringing a sleep mask if you like it dark! Just my personal preferences of course.Rooms: Our cabin was the middle grade studio cabin, that has a full size master and a single bunk bed, for a total of 4 guests. Includes a kitchenette, a full bathroom with a shower. Perfect for our family of 3.Walkability: Everything is within a short walking distance and everyone we saw was driving at a slow, respectful speed.

I made a reservation 4 hours out at Fayetville RV Resort and beyond our control, we had a blow out in one of our tires on our motorhome. I immediately called and cancelled my reservation and left a message as to what happened, with no response. I made another call and left a message, no response. Two days later I called to make sure they got my cancellation and I got my money back. Surprisingly enough, they have a no refund policy! This is unacceptable!! In good faith, we did everything we could possibly do. I would not recommend this campground period!!

If you are in the area and looking for a campground, you have found it! This is our go to stop when coming to Fayetteville. Easy to make reservations and check-in, even after hours. The staff is great and very accomodating. The sites are pretty good. Long pull throughs and back ins are available depending on how much you want to spend. Nice gravel pad and hook-ups are conveniently located. My only issue with their sites is they use a railroad tie as a border. With our Moryde solid steps we have to make sure our steps will clear the railroad ties before we begin setup. Our first stop here we found out the hard way and had to move the RV before we could get in and finish setup. We spent alot of time enjoying the wide open spaceof the park. Our daily walks around the park and through the nature trails were a great way to relax and meet other campers. The pools are nice and well maintained and the grounds are well kept. If your bored, play some putt putt or swing by the food truck that is in that day or enjoy some of the resorts activities. If you get bored here, you are camping wrong!

We had stayed at this resort one other time and it was fine for an over night place. We rebooked for another trip and 2 days before we were to arrive, our daughter was in an accident. I called and explained that we couldn't come because of her accident and would we be able to get a refund because otherwise, we would have been there. The manager said no even know they knew the details. Other campgrounds that we had to cancel, gave refunds and really no questions asked. Those campgrounds we will go back to but never again to this one. We won't stay at a place that doesn't have compassion for people.

Tried to stay here long term. As it is cheaper monthly, than weekly. They said they would have a spot open within a month. So, my wife and I moved in. They told us we were 2nd in line. Then, we were next in line. Great. Then went to the office and all of a sudden we were 3rd in line? What the hell? Am I too fat? Too ugly? I feel discriminated against. There were 2 open permanent spots. All of the temp spots were mostly empty. Save us, and A few others. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU ARE DRIVING A NEW, CLASS A MOTORHOME. BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST WORRIED ABOUT HOW THEY LOOK. We obviously left, which I am glad we did. Found a better place, with nicer people, right next to a lake to fish. Waldos. Good riddance.

I have been staying here for an overnight traveling back to NY from FL for several years now. Previous years were great. However, this year (2023) when i called months in advance, i was informed most cottages are now leased as monthly rentals. of course, now the only available cottage was much larger and cost more than double the price. Then i was also charged an additional $25 reservation fee for a ONE night stay. Despite a "to do list" before leaving (sweeping, washing dishes, take out trash, etc.) I was also charged $25 cleaning fee and left an evelope for a tip! Since i'm a late arrival depending on traffic, i ended up being charged an extra $50 on top on a much hight rate for a one night stay in a much larger cabin. Not so sure I'll be returning as the cost of a one night stay has has now increased 300% over 2 years. warning to check your credit card charges, not that you have a prayer because they just charge what they want to your credit card. very disappointed for my 2023 stay & not willing to donate an extra $100 to them because of inflation.Noteworthy details: check your charges before they hit your credit card!

We arrived for a one night stay and when I went to check in our door to the rv locked with it running and our dog inside. Of course all our windows were locked. The awesome ladies in the office called someone to come help. He got us in and we were so appreciative. This place is so well kept up and clean. Even the dumpsters are nice! We will be back again when we can stay longer. Amazing people here.

Stayed here for an overnight headed further down south. Campground seemed super clean, super convenient to 95 without all the noise from the highway, amenities matched the size of the campground, and the staff was super friendly. I actually ended up forgetting something in my rush to travel the next day, and they were kind enough to check the site and have it shipped back to me. I'd stay again, perhaps more than just a travel night.

Great place! Not sure if Harry is still a resident there? He’s the guy with long hair that claims to have been “Special Ops” a Green Beret and many other things. This is all untrue he is in fact a fraud and a liar. He never was a Green Beret or Ranger qualified, beyond a shadow of a doubt he is lying.
