Very clean store,recently remodeled,it's safe walking around the aisles.Food Lion prices, are always convenient for all the consumers, that shop inside their locations.There's plenty of parking, & you could easily call in your orders,if you desire. Like many other large supermarkets, Food Lion delivers your orders to your vehicle & not to your residence, of course there are transport companies you could hire; to do this added convenience.Large parking garage structures are normally not for Supermarkets chains of stores,they usually have large free parking areas. They will bring out your food conveniently to your vehicle,after orders are made online. Happy shopping! While you save,for your family....

This store was amazing until they remodeled around February/March. Every since its been downhill. Shelves constantly empty, pallets of stuff everywhere and nobody stocking. I go because it's close and convenient but boy has it has been lacking since last year.

One of the managers of this particular, Food Lion decided to take it upon herself to confront me saying that I was blocking the road around the building meant for there delivery trucks, since I was in a tractor trailer yes that would be the case but If she had looked she would have seen that there were 3 trucks around back blocking travel already. I had every intention to make my stop quick for a sandwich and drink with the knowledge I was in the roadway. Due to her apparent distain Food Lion lost this sale. From this point forward I will make every effort to persuade others to shop at a more friendly location.

Great customer service experience tonight! My cashier came and helped me move from one line to her line because I was using a card. Then after realizing I needed cash back she proceeded to take me to customer service desk and i was quickly rang up and on my way.

I always love Food Lion.Sometimes, I work at a food back, and for being a small store compared to Walmart, Food Lion always donates the most food. They are really a great corporation! Love them!

This store has friendly staff who are available but not crowding. I spend lots of time just walking around. I'm glad for the opportunity to add to my original post! I'm still impressed with this store I feel very comfortable with the staff. I once lost my wallet there and when I went back to shop again the manager told me he had it, nothing was missing! That really got points from me. I thank God for Food Lion and the caring people therein. Forever a loyal customer. As an update, the only change I see is a few staff members, still friendly and my favorite store! As with anything, there's always changes made! The staff remains friendly and helpful, there's more seasonal merchandise available.

I want to give a sincere thank you to Chris W that helped me today in the floral dept. here in Vanceboro.I have never in my many years of shopping had anyone that went over and above to help like he did. He was absolutely amazing...and genuine. We definitely need more people like Chris that truly make a difference. Thank you again Chris and everyone loved the flowers!!!

If you enjoy squeezing past pallets and being literally shoved out of the way by people stocking shelves, this store is for you. It’s actually impressive they manage to maintain as many empty shelves as they do.

Overall I generally have good/decent experiences here but not overly friendly. Half the time, the checkout person does not acknowledge your presence or they are chatting with other customers (and ignoring the person they are ‘helping’). I would not have left a review just because of that except the last two visits I have had my fresh fruits and veggies dropped into the bag and the next time the person piled items in top of my loaf of bread.Due to often being ignored by staff, I typically do my grocery shopping at Publix or Harris Teeter where staff are always friendly and ask if you need any help.

Great place to stop and pick up a few items. We stop here frequently due to logistics for convenience. The staff is friendly, and service is good. Prices are not the best on every thing in comparison to say wal mart, but competitive if you stick to deals and MVP items.

Their meat section is awesome! Prices are reasonable, too. The staff is always nice and cordial, asking if I'm finding everything ok. Easy entrance/exit of the parking lot. Good for a quick visit or a full blown grocery day.

I would give it 5 stars, because it is a good store to shop in, but they did have a few small shopping carts and now there are none and, plus, the store is too small for a growing town.

The cupcakes from the bakery were amazing. We tried some deli foods and liked them as well for our spontaneous picnic at the farm.

This Food Lion didn't have a good stock of cut up fruits and veggies but their salads were plentiful. Check out presented long lines but Management was quick to open two more lines.

Very clean was not busy. Every employee was friendly. I wasn't impressed with the choice of baked good out on the floor, maybe the time we went.. This was the first time I was in the store will be shopping their again once we are up their.

Obviously I'm partial to this food Lion because I live right next to it but the workers there are genuinely nice one of them in particular is a super hard worker I think her name is andreeka and she is the sweetest person I've ever seen and super helpful and nice.

just like any other food Lion they've got all the same stuff good brands good food but the food Lion vanceboro seems like it's full of a bunch of lazy people every time I go there there's at least four or five workers standing up at the front doing absolutely nothing but talking and joking and laughing there's only ever won the two registers open but they clearly have enough workers to open up more and get rid of the long lines at they usually have.
