By far the best groomer I’ve ever taken my pups to. I have a 13 yr old lab with joint issues and they made me feel completely comfortable that they could get him groomed without issue and they sure did - went above and beyond and even helped me to the car. Also did my long haired young shepherd and he looks amazing. Experienced and caring - excellent groomer.

Experienced excellent service for our first time with a groomer. Our fur baby came home smelling great and happy. All our boxes were checked with Barkside. Recommend highly.

They shaved my dog to the skin on his face, neck and knuckles. I could see his veins and he is a black dog with gray skin. He also had no matted areas. They called themselves schooling me saying that is how poodles are professionally groomed. They knicked his elbow which could happen to anyone so I let that go. They claimed they gave him free services such as teeth brushing etc. to compensate for that accident. I gave them a second chance and this time they shaved his face perfectly, however they left his body too long. I specifically told her how I wanted him cut after the first fiasco. She said that was as short as they could go. I told her that there is a setting between scalping and what you did today. The length of his face is how I told her to cut his body and legs down to his pompoms. They told me I should just take him somewhere else from now on. The price is too expensive for what they do. Also, the price increased from the first visit to the next. The first time was $54 and the second one was $66. I asked why the increase and she said the first time was discounted because of the accident. I reminded her she told me that she gave him free services for that not a price reduction. Anyway I would not recommend them. I am appalled at the way I was treated! They were very unprofessional! By the way i did tell them how I wanted him cut the first time and thought we were on the same page...evidently not.

Omg I would not take my Chihuahua Lucy anywhere else!!! I know when she is there she is treated like the queen she is!!! U can't find a better place to take your animals if u truly love them and want the best!!! Everyone that works there is great and the owner Markie is the best!!!

Maria washed my big scaredy-cat of a dog Bernard the other day and everyone is still talking about how good he smells and looks. She even pointed out an issue with his nail on his back paw that I would’ve never seen. Thanks for taking care of that big Ol baby!

Had my mother in laws daisy mae groomed today and picked Bark Side Daisy is a shih tzue I hope I spelled that correctly. Very Friendly staff, very neat and clean, also very professional, great with my mother in laws baby also gave her her own puppy glamor shot. Definitely if u are looking for a groomer this is where to call, we got an appointment next day. And only a 20 min drive from where we live. Worth it.....

I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else, she always leaves the groomers smelling so good and happy. Everyone here is so nice and lovely and I have yet to be unsatisfied!

Markie is absolutely wonderful with my dog, Chloe. When Petsmart gave up on her and kicked her out, Markie gave her a chance. We have been with her ever since.

We had a house fire Thanksgiving night and our dog Cochise saved our lives. He was covered in smoke and soot. Last week we took him to Bark Side Pet Grooming and I am so impressed. Thank you so much for your understanding of our situation. Cochise smells so nice and looks really good. He loves his scarf and says it helps him get the girls. We will definitely bring him back again and on a regular basis when we can get more situated. Thank y’all so very much.

My dog is an older dog and the staff there treat her so good!!! She is very nervous but when she goes in there they are so good to her that she seems to jus relax. They treat her like one of their own animals. They do a great job on her nails every time I take her in there. I would recommend this place to anyone all the staff there are very friendly and kind to me and Heidi. This is the only place I’ll take her to get anything done

I brought my two dogs to have their nails cut and they did a great job. Most places that I have been taking them they wouldn’t take enough off of them but they did take off as much as I possibly could. I was very pleased with the results because their nails were long, I will be taking my dogs back.

I have took my puppy there twice now and the first time they said he would get a puppy introduction which is fine but this time I asked for a trim all over and they only did the puppy introduction again! If I’m paying for the grooming they should do what people ask! I can bathe and fluff my dog out at home I don’t need someone to do it for 20$

One star is too much for this place. They are terrible and should not be in business. The front desk person is rude and unprofessional. I gave them three tries with my dog and do not know what I was thinking. They shaved him so close to the skin I had to take him to the vet for skin irritations. I cannot recommend anything about this place.

Markie always takes the time to get to know you and your pet, and makes sure everyone is comfortable and happy. She listens to what you want for your fur baby and is definitely able to groom your pet the way you want. You definitely will have a great experience on the Bark Side.

Jasmine smelled so good when in picked her up and her coat was super smooth and soft. I'm sure Jasmine probably pitched a real fit in them but they never said anything about her bad behavior.

They’ve recently gone way up on prices unannounced. They claim it’s because they need to pay groomers a living wage. What really happened is I tipped only a small amount the previous visit - due to my financial changes. In turn, they jacked up the price. Steer clear on this place.
