I come here often for necessities as I live nearby. I met Sam, a truly cool tattoo artist and awesome individual. She was very kind, helpful and made my past few visits great. I wish more individuals were as awesome as she is!! It’s always nice to feel welcomed and appreciated when you go out shopping for the necessities. I highly recommend DG and hopefully, you get to meet Sam, too!! Give her a raise, DG!! She’s THE EXAMPLE for how to be kind and amazing to costumers and people in general!! Super pleased!!

Do not go to after dark. They do not care about your safety. Light have been broken for over 4 weeks. With no sighs, they want to fix them.

I used to love this store but the people they have working there now are so rude and disrespectful. they advertise that this location closes at 10pm. I walked in at 8:04pm last night and the lady at the register yelled "we close at 8 so hurry up and get whatever you're getting" and I told her I could leave mostly because I understand how frustrating it is for people to come in after closing, but she insisted on me getting my things. embarrassed as I was, I went to go find what I was looking for and no surprise they didn't have it. so I tried to leave but the door was locked from the inside and I couldn't get out! the lady at the register had to come over and unlock it for me with her bad attitude and made me feel horrible the rest of the night. I'm probably not going to be in this store ever again for anything. aisles are never clean, nothing is stocked like it should be and everyone who works there is so rude and most of the time can't even look up from their phone to help me. get better management and employees who actually care about their jobs

Most of the time they are closing at 7pm and not even opening when they are suppose to. Cashiers scream at customers when they walk in at 705 pm saying we're closed. Very rude manager that's never on site and if she is she has very bad attitude and treats customers as if they are a Hassell to even be wanting to shop there.bto be a new dollar general this is the worst store I've ever experienced in the dollar general brand. Needs new management and new employees. Also doors still broken. Also usually out of stock but yet stock is in big bins all over the store but not put up, so that makes walking around and finding items nearly impossible.

I've never had any issues till just recently and I've never felt so horrible in my own skin. To be treated like Im just a little teenager messing around in the store by people that work there. The rudeness is unbelievable. The treatment is truly apuling. Learn how to talk to people. I'll give you the same respect you give me.

Huge store & shocked it wasnt a mess. Only 1 or 2 uboats out full of stock but everything was nice on the shelves. The cashier was nice & pleasant too.

This is the nicest cleanest and neatest Dollar General I have ever been in and the people that work there are so pleasant.I am so happy to have it close to my house. I think it should be rated a five star.

You walk around in store like a drunk driver due to things being not put up left on big bins the people are rude as rude can be I wouldn’t send a pack of rats in there to shop it’s a big joke the worst of the worst

Store was closed for a second time that I have encountered when it suppose to be open. Store hours are from 8am to 10pm and yet when I arrive to find it closed at 1030am. It is apparent this location is poorly managed by lack of customer support, personnel, and poor inventory accomadations.

Newer locations at the intersection of 32 and Centerhill Road in Chowan County and the one on Harvey Point Road in Perquimans County are the cleanest and best stocked locations.

I pulled up because they had a sign that said they were open and it was listed as open online. But when we approached the doors, they did not open and no one came to the door. Very confusing advertising. So disappointed.
