This is my all-time favorite grocery store. Has everything you are ever looking for. The produce is exceptional. Beads are fabulous. Cookies are unbeatable. Great beer and wine selection. They have beers and ciders we can't find anywhere else. It's definitely not a new grocery store with wide aisles. This is old school and it is just wonderful!!

If you want personal attention and a wonderful hometown experience, you will love this place as soon as you walk in. No employee turnovers and management is always there to great you personally or help you at the checkout. It's one of Tryon's best businesses.

Small, "cute", convenient little grocery store. Better than an actual convenient store, it has all your grocery needs packed into less than 5,000 SF.It's where you go instead of dollar general, and any other, larger supermarket is 7 miles away in either direction.

Truckload meat sale is AWESOME. Loading up the freezer. Store is very close & convenient to us. Its large enough to have most everything we need and the prices are good. People are friendly & helpful. We love it. Our own little home town grocery store. Update: Sadly, since Covid, no Meat Truck that we are aware of. We hope it returns soon.

All the workers and also the manager was sitting around on their phones instead of interacting with customers? Very minimal talking when checking out.. So awkward… this is my first time here and will probably be the last. Not very welcoming. The only positive thing is they had good prices on meat.

Sweet little grocery I like to pop into when in Tryon. Small, but varied and fresh veggies....which is what I always buy here. They also sell plants, which is fun in spring. Nice staff as well.

They were very nice to me when I showed up at their gas pump with a European credit card that the machine didn’t like. Very agreeable country general store with lot of delicious but calorific American treats. Just a few hundred meters from historic center of delightful Tryon, North Carolina, where they boast with justification how welcoming they are.

It's local, it's convenient, it's a small store with a friendly staff. This store has good sales & specials each week. It's great for when you need to run in and get something quick. They're like a big chain store so you will likely be able to find what you want. They do sell items that are more gourmet minded and their prices can be on the steep side but overall it's a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

I love visiting my local IGA store in Tryon. Nothing is too much trouble. Every store member is happy and friendly. The deli is great and the produce section has fresh fruits and vegetables. Whatever you ask for is no trouble. Want something freshly cut or frozen, not a problem. Checkout staff always talkative and friendly. The owner is always on the premises and you often see him bagging up your groceries and delivering them to your car. Support this locally owned business. It's a great place to frequent.

Store is ok. Rarely, go there. I find the prices to be higher than the bigger grocery stores. The aisles are really small not much room to push a cart especially if someone is coming the other direction.

Great place for the most part. BEST MEAT AND MEAT PRICES FOR MILES. Prices are a little high for regular grocery but the customer service and quality products make up for it. Only downside is the produce. Fruit is generally acceptable but I'd check anything else thoroughly. Especially whats reduced....its reduced for a reason.

Be careful what you buy as proper dating procedures are not followed on items such as cakes by the bakery, any freezer to floor product such as hostess or entenmanns. I've noticed this on more than one occasion and disappointed to find my 7 up creme cake was filled with mold when I got it home and cut into it.
