Jody and her team are so kind and accommodating. They have great vendor recommendations that make the planning process a breeze. I was looking for a nice outdoor venue in the southeast for an affordable price and this was the best option! I highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience having our wedding at Nantahala Weddings. Jody and her daughter who is now apart of the business are phenomenal people who really care about you enjoying the best day of your life. I still remember when I was calling venues to find the best location for our wedding, and then I talked to Jody. I knew right away that this was the place for us and I'm so thankful we made this decision. If you're even thinking about it - go for it!!! And highly recommend microweddings in this location as well. :) We're going to treasure the memories for the rest of our lives and the tiny houses are perfect for small weekend gateaways in the future for reminiscing!!

I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about this property or the owners or vendors that are regulars here. I'm a bit biased, but I can honestly say we had THE BEST wedding at Nantahala.Jody and Jess are amazing and wonderful angel humans who decided to spread their love and joy by creating the most beautiful of wedding venues. Not only did they create the best place for you to get married, they have carefully cultivated the most amazing group of vendors to make your planning experience that much easier. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! They have also included the use of ALL of their decor so you don't have to waste money on things you'll never use again but are essential for a wedding.To top all of that off Nantahala is surrounded by several gorgeous "first look" spots for you and your soon-to-be hubs/wifey to take photos. As well as an abundance of cabins, yurts, camp sites, and tiny homes for your guests to book for your weekend.If you're looking for a magical wedding weekend in the mountains with all your closest friends and family I HIGHLY recommend spending it at Nantahala Weddings.I don't have photos back yet from our wedding at the end of March but I'll update this review when we receive them.TL;DR - Book your wedding or elopement here. We had the wedding of our DREAMS at this venue!! I am so glad we chose to get married here, and words cannot begin to describe what an amazing experience it was. From the HUGE bridal suite and 'cave' with amazing views of both the mountains and the lake, to the full access to the venue for several days, we could not have asked for better. Jody was so amazing to work with, and her daughter even stopped by during our reception to wish us well and make sure we didn't need anything. Do not hesitate to *at least* book a tour of this gorgeous venue!! We actually booked our wedding before seeing it in person! I know that some would see that as a big risk, but Jody was so communicative and accommodating from the beginning, and the website gave the perfect view of what the venue was like that it was a NO BRAINER. I could not recommend Nantahala Weddings more, and I hope you find it to be your perfect venue, too!

Me and my husband recently got married here and i can’t even begin to express how amazing it was. Jody was so helpful throughout our entire process and can’t thank her and her crew for how beautiful and relaxing our day was. The view and venue was picture perfect and all of the guests were amazed. The best day for us ever!!!! ❤️ we got to have our dogs there for the day as well and it was such a nice touch for us as we love our dogs like family.

My partner and I got married in early May 2023 and it was beautiful! The venue encapsulated exactly what we wanted. We loved working with Jody and the local vendors like Tracey Passmore and Sally the baker. The chapel in the sky view is amazing. There were tons of great spots both at the venue and a short drive away for photos, like at the lake or nearby waterfall. Our guests mentioned the amazing mountain backdrop and focus on family as some of the highlights for them. Our family rented out cabins nearby and enjoyed the scenery while they were there. We loved being able to stay on the grounds as well.

We had such an incredible time at Nantahala Weddings. The venue is beautiful. Jody was more than accommodating and helpful. We ended up using multiple vendors from the list she recommended and we enjoyed all of them! We had the venue for three days for a micro-wedding and we really enjoyed the space. Couldn’t recommend this venue enough!

This venue was absolutely gorgeous!! I could not have been happier. My photos turned out so beautiful. The venue staff was so very helpful, from the time I booked the venue to the time of my event, anything I needed, they helped me with. They were very reasonably priced and worth every penny. The bridal house was the perfect place to get ready and provided excellent photo opportunities as well. It was large enough for all of my family to get ready on site as well.

The most magical venue out there! Our special day was amazing! Thank you Jody and Jennifer for making 06/21/2023 one of the best days of our lives.From staying the night Tuesday night after rehearsal dinner into day of the atmosphere, lodging, and general feel of the place set my heart at ease and had my ready to walk the isle! The clouds parted just in time for our ceremony and not another drop fell all evening.Tracey passmore made some of the best Carolina BBQ we have ever had and we have enjoyed leftovers too! Could not have had a more perfect day, truly.

Having our wedding at Nantahala Weddings was an actual dream. From the very start of booking it to the final minutes before checkout. Jody & Jess were always SO responsive with any questions I had before our wedding and during the weekend. The went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was incredible… and let me tell you it was. All of our guests raved about the stunning view and all of the vendors we selected (all preferred on a list that Jody provides). The place was incredibly cleaned when we checked in and even made it work to put up the tent walls last minute due to some chilly weather coming in overnight. For not being from the area, this team made it so seamless with answers to all our questions. I cannot thank them enough because our wedding day and venue is one our friends and family will talk about forever. THANK YOU!!!

Nantahala Weddings is a dream come true. Jody has put in all the effort to make every detail of this place so well thought out and beautiful. From the unbeatable views of the mountains and Lake Nantahala, to providing a huge assortment of decorations to choose from, to the amazing amenities to stay in for several nights, the venue is immaculate. Me and my husband were looking for a dog friendly venue in the mountains and selected Nantahala as our wedding venue without visiting it until the weekend of our wedding. The whole process was still so smooth and simple. She provides all of her customers with a list of recommended vendors which made planning so easy. Our guests were easily able to find rental properties nearby and we loved that we were able to spend more than just our wedding day with our family and close friends. It was absolutely the perfect destination venue in the mountains!

We got to stay on site to celebrate Kelsey and Zach’s beautiful wedding. First off, the venue itself is incredible, so beautiful! We were in awe the entire time. The main cabin is where we stayed and it was great. Rooms were clean, the fireplace was our favorite, and staying on site made it so easy to get everywhere we needed for the wedding. Highly recommend, and we are so thankful we got the opportunity to celebrate our family and their marriage here❤️

My wife and I were married here in August of 2023. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and many of our guests said it was the best venue they have ever attended for a wedding.This venue was 4 hours away from where we live, and the owner Jody made it very easy to plan everything we needed despite being unable to visit the venue very often. Jody's recommendations for vendors were also very helpful, and helped make sure our wedding went off without a hitch.Overall, I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a Smokey Mountain wedding!

I was married here in late October and it was simply magical. The setting is spectacular, better than photos can show. But what makes it truly unique and wonderful is the people. This is a community that cares deeply about bringing people together. I worked with Jody and Shayla and co. for two years to make the wedding happen, and not once did I feel unheard. The memories I made here will last a lifetime. And the new hand-carved wedding arch and lectern were made specifically for Nantahala and are completely unique, just like the site itself. This venue is one of the best in the industry!

Dreams come true at Nantahala Weddings. This venue is one of the most unique venues I have ever shot weddings. We are Appalachian Wedding Photography and we give this venue 5-stars: Jody-the owner is amazing, responsive and honest. Team- the vendors on the recommended list are amazing and work very well together. Beauty- the Appalachian Mountains are romantic, breath-taking and intimate. Ceremony- the site overlooks the lake and the mountains; giving the guests such a treat. Central- the venue is near waterfalls, lookout towers, lakes, rafting and amazing national forests. Party- we love this venue because there is lodging on-site, pets are allowed and quiet hours are very late.

I don't even know where to begin. Working with Jody at this venue was a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was the first person I spoke with when my husband and I started planning our event and she was instrumental in every decision, from choosing the best package for our event to advising us on the perfect vendors for our vision. The venue itself was breathtaking! The views were everything we'd hoped for and then some. We had full run of the venue while we were there, and Jody (along with our incredible team) bent over backwards to make sure everything ran so smoothly. We had a vow renewal instead of the traditional wedding, so our event was smaller than usual, but it was still treated with care and importance. We HIGHLY recommend this venue if you are looking to have a wedding (or event) in this area.

I booked this venue for the price, location, and beautiful views. I really loved having the venue for a couple days before the wedding so we could set up and get ready to go before the big day. Fie Top housed the bride (me) and the groom, along with a couple immediate family members, which was really convenient. There are also plenty of AirBnbs nearby for guests. The designated space for the rehearsal dinner is beautiful. The views are incredible around the entire property.Jody, the venue owner, was great! She responded quickly to all questions and concerns we had, and went out of her way to help solve any issues we ran into. Cara, our coordinator, was recommended for the venue. She was absolutely fantastic, as well!Overall, we had such a great experience. I highly recommend hosting your wedding here!

This is such a wonderful place for a wedding. We had many options for lodging. The views are beautiful, and the proximity of the wedding and reception were so close. Yes, there are a few steep paths, but it’s an outdoor wedding in the mountains. That’s what made it special! The venue makes travel accommodations for those who need it. If you’re lucky, you will get the most perfect blue skies like my son and his bride did. We are so happy about the way it turned out.

My husband and I got married here in June 2018. Jody and the Nantahala Weddings Team was absolutely amazing and made our wedding day a dream come true! If you live in North Carolina like we do, the Topton and Nantahala area in general is the perfect place to feel like you booked a destination wedding! The lake is stunning and so much fun and the mountains are so beautiful especially up on Wayah Bald where we had our ceremony and the surrounding forests and creeks are perfect for a first look like we had at Wine Spring Creek. The venue is stunning with beautiful landscaping and included everything we needed like a covered area for our reception, bathrooms for our guests, street parking, and a lovely little bonfire area for s'mores! Jody had great vendor suggestions that we used and were so pleased with. We recently went back this month to visit the area and we stopped by the venue, which now looks even more magical!! They built a new covered reception area, a new ceremony site overlooking the lake and the mountains, several guest cabins, and a larger honeymoon suit cabin with the option to have a rehearsal dinner. The larger cabin even has separate areas for the bride and groom to get ready in and additional rooms for other family members or guests. Overall, if you are thinking of getting married here, you will be so happy with the beautiful Nantahala area, customer service, and the stunning venue site! We were so happy we chose Nantahala Weddings!
