Beautiful accommodations!! The cabin was immaculately clean, the amenities convenient and the staff is immensely helpful & kind!! Amazing scenery, don't have to travel more than a few minutes for gorgeous pictures and hiking opportunities. “Between the Falls” is amazing. The cabin is so sweet and comfortable, I was there 2 nights but I could stay a week there without leaving. So much fun to just play pool, sit in the hot tub, watch the fireplaces, cold plunge in the creek, and spend quality time with my Love. Everyone I met in the office was kind and cheery, especially the “boss man’s” daughter Kyla- she was bright and fun to talk to.Rooms: At least in the Between the falls cabin… spacious, beautiful, relaxing, wonderful. Huge bed with an inroom jacuzzi and gas fireplaceNearby activities: 40 minute drive to Bryson city and 30 minute drive to my new favorite restaurant- Sage.Walkability: There are trails onsite to walk and walking to the main office from the cabin is lovely because of the trees and creek… walking anywhere off property is not an option and it is a drive to good restaurantsNoteworthy details: Between the Falls has an outdoor hot tub, in-room jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace, two indoor gas fireplaces, comfortable kitchen… walking trails onsite too

I have come to a place where I just expect customer service to be subpar at vacation destinations. Jaime and Lisa from Cherokee mountain cabins were a breath of fresh air and reminder that there are still amazing humans out there eager to go above and beyond to provide an amazing experience for the customer. Both were so kind and excited to serve me and my wife. The cabins are clean and provide the perfect environment for our anniversary. Will definitely be back. Thanks again Jaime & Lisa for brightening our day!

My favorite place to stay when visiting North Carolina. I have stayed at multiple cabins at this location and highly recommend them all. The location is beautiful and relatively easy to get to. The cabins are cozy, well decorated, and very calming; everything you need for a perfect winter or summer retreat. We enjoy the activities in the surrounding area, especially white water rafting, hiking, and ATV tours. Will be booking yet another vacation here in the near future.A few things to be aware of. Be mindful that jeeps with 4-wheel drive work best to get to cabins at higher elevations on the property. Also, the local area is economically very diverse with a mixture of high- and low-end establishments; the economy is still suffering in some areas so you will see some closed businesses when traveling through the mountain passes.

We stayed in the Bear Tree cabin. Very nicely appointed, kinda snug in the bedroom-because of the super comfy king size bed and wirlpool garden tub. The hot tub looking on the fireplace is so cool! You better have a 4x4 or AWD if there's a chance of inclement weather. The roads on the property, though regularly maintained, are still a bit scary for a couple from flat Florida. There are also a couple of good hiking trails on the property -one that our pup was too lazy to finish.

We could not have asked for a better cabin experience. The cabin was very clean, inside and out...many times we've stayed in cabins that were great inside, but had webs, nests, etc on the outside...but not this one. We were pleasantly surprised that our outdoor fireplace and grill were cleaned after we used them too...we came back from a visit and found them completely clean. The office people were also extremely nice. We will go again, probably this summer for a weekend getaway!!!

Creekside is the most beautiful cabin we have ever stayed in and we hope to come back many more times. The cabin was very clean, and I even commented to my boyfriend that she sheets and towels smelled so clean and comfy. The sound of the creek right outside was the best part of our stay and we loved sleeping with the bedroom window open enough to hear it.

Can't say enough about this place. Have been coming every year with my husband, except during covid,for almost 10 years. Have stayed in about 6 different houses, and they are all remarkable. Top notch with special extras a lot of rental places don't have. Each with its own special view. Great people to work with. They try extremely hard to be so accommodating for you. It's amazing to see how much it has grown over the years, but with how wonderful they are, I understand why. Would definitely recommend it!

Extremely disappointed with our stay from this past weekend at Cherokee Mountain Cabins which call themselves “luxury accommodations.” Our first night we lost power only to realize that we had no indoor working fireplace, generator, working landline, or cell service to call for help. We luckily had friends staying in a nearby cabin whose cabin had a generator and when reading through the cabin instructions realized it was up to us to contact Duke Energy ourselves to handle the outage. Contacting Duke Energy was such a hassle because it required account numbers and passwords which we didn’t have. When we then contacted management about the outage the next day we were met with “power outages are out of our control.” I understand this but what IS in your control is having generators at every cabin, working indoor fireplaces in the event of outages, or at the very least having language on the website noting that some cabins aren’t equipped with generators.When we were trying to catch up on sleep the next day when talking about the power issue we had kindly asked the front office not to send anyone up to look at the cabin for any potential lingering power issues and to give us privacy. We had been assured if anyone was going to come up, they would call first. Not even an hour later without a call, someone on staff rolled up the driveway to check out the electrical box. I had to call down to the office again asking to please not send anyone up.The steep gravel roads are unkept and very difficult to get your car up and down.There’s also hardly ever anyone in the front office so if you need to check-in or stop by with questions etc. during regular business hours it’s impossible to catch anyone.

This was the most beautiful and clean cabin we’ve stayed in!! Very high quality. The views were breathtaking. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The service was beyond excellent. We could not have been happier with our stay here!!! We will be back and recommend to our friends and family!! If your looking for a beautiful clean place to stay and gorgeous Mountain View’s this is the perfect RELAXING vacation for you!!! AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!! I would give 10 stars if possible. We spent a week in the "Paws Up" cabin. The cabin is beautiful and everything was clean and in great condition. The view from the front porch is gorgeous! It is a steep drive up the driveway to this cabin. It was nice to have 4 wheel drive to get up the mountain every time. Would definitely stay here again if we ever get the chance. Highly recommended!

We had never been to the western mountains of North Carolina and wanted to give it a try. We came across Cherokee Mountain Cabins after researching online. The pictures looked great but in the end, the actual cabins were even better than advertised. The staff is incredibly attentive to your needs and can recommend a multitude of activities. We fly fished, hiked, and went rafting. Of course, we relaxed a bunch in the hot tub as well. Really spectacular.

The staff members were accommodating and professional. The cabin was pretty nice. For me to be comfortable enough to give any more stars they would have had to have been able to accommodate a few requests that my wife and I had. That was really my biggest hang up. The cabin was on a beautiful section of creek. It was professionally decorated and pretty well laid out. The only issue with it was they tried to squeeze a pool table in an area that just wasn't going to work well. It was a nice time all in all

Stayed at Heaven's Ridge. It was a beautiful cabin with beautiful views. Love the people there, Laura is a rockstar. Can't wait to return to Cherokee Mountain Cabins. Nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub with a blazing fire in the outside fireplace ❤️

We have visited Cherokee Mountain Cabins for several years now. Every time has been an absolute perfect vacation. Peaceful and relaxing. Breath taking scenery. Every visit has been better than the previous. The staff and service is far beyond expectations. The most recent visit was to Paws Up cabin. This is the best cabin to date with the price for a night with the most scenic views. Hawks Landing is also very nice with a awsome views. But,Paws Up is a wide open panoramic shot of the mountains from the wrap around deck. We also love the pool table being on the first floor with plenty of room to move around it. Worst part of our trip here is returning home. Hate to leave this place!

We just spent three nights (one in the Hideaway and two in the Tree house cabins). We're still debating which one we liked better, but both were superb! The manager was fantastic, location spot on and truly luxury cabins. They attend to every detail. There is so much to do in the area from water activities, hiking and scenic drives. We'll be back!

We’ve lodged at Cherokee Mountain Cabins many times over the past nine years. It is truly our favorite place for a family vacation. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful, and attentive. They strive to make your stay comfortable and fun. We’ve stayed in four of the cabins, and none of them have disappointed us. The cabins are private and surrounded by beautiful woods and a stream. Even though we’ve been there at times when all the cabins are booked, we’ve hardly known any other guests were around! You have peace, quiet, and that lovely stream sound to relax and enjoy. The cabins are clean and well stocked with quality appliances, dishes and utensils. I usually cook dinner each night, so I’ve used many of their items. The cabins are a bit removed from nearby restaurants, so we like to go on adventures and eat out during the day, then come back to eat dinner at the cabin by the stream. I often make and freeze dinners ahead so that it’s easy to pop them in the oven while relaxing on the porch. If you want to grill food, you’ll need to bring charcoal. If you are staying longer than a night or two, you’ll need to bring your own supplies of soap, paper products, etc. as they only supply a couple day’s amount. Some cabins have a steep drive in and out while others are easier to access. Ask the staff about this if it could be an issue for your vehicle. While there we enjoy driving (thirty minutes plus) to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, hiking, white water rafting, birdwatching, and trout fishing with a local guide company. The cabin staff can help you arrange these things, or you can go off adventuring on your own. We’ve already booked again for next year, and we can’t wait to return. Ten Gold Stars!

We just loved staying at Hideaway cabin!! This was our second trip to Cherokee Mountain Cabins and it will definitely not be our last. The amenities were exceptional and the staff goes the extra mile to make sure that your experience was great. If you are looking for a getaway with your family or just a weekend with your significant other, this is the place for you.

Love Cherokee Mountain Cabins. Beautiful cabins with beautiful Mountain views or creekside views with that beautiful sound of rapidly flowing streams around you. Covered decks with beautiful wood burning fireplaces while you relax in a hot tub. Who could ask for more? Our weekend retreat would not have been complete without residing in such a beautiful cabin on the water! We were rafting the Nantahala River for the weekend. The cabin was so convenient to the NOC as well as many other hiking trails. We would highly recommend! Patrick, on-site Manager was wonderful and prompt to respond to any request. We stayed at the Bear Tree cabin. This place is amazing! The cabin was very clean and well equipped. Had a great time playing pool in the loft. The hot tub was so relaxing. Everything was in good working order. The staff in the office are super friendly and very helpful. We loved sitting on the porch at night and listening to the running creek. Bring some food I'd you plan to stay a while. It's a beautiful 20 minute drive into town (Andrews). A great place to get away.

HONEYMOONERS! We have stayed in NC from FL once before but this experience was truly amazing! We stayed in Paws Up. When we walked into our cabin, we walked in to rose pedals on the floor, strawberry covered chocolates, fruit, wine... Then of course we both cried. The view was perfect. The staff was so helpful! From booking the cabin, to recommending activities to us, to simple congratulating us on our marriage. We definitely will be back!Thank you!Mr & Mrs French

My husband and I went to Cherokee Cabins on a whim. I had never gone to the mountains or anywhere near a forest of any sort, and I found this place online. We went in on Sunday and left on Thursday, and it was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Being petrified of the winding roads, I didn't get to drive much, but I didn't need to. The Paws Up Cabin was so beautiful and serene, I needed nothing else. After all, I had my favorite guy and piece and quiet, who would want to leave? The staff was awesome, and we were able to get a discount on our upcoming stay. There are no nearby grocery stores, so I made sure we got everything we needed on our way to the cabin. The view from our deck was beautiful, looked almost like a painting. The air was crisp and clean, and I did not see one part of that forest that was not clean and beautiful. We got to ride horses just a few miles away from the cabin, and we spent so much quiet time in the hot tub on the deck, of course with the fireplace lit. I did miss having a television in the bedroom because I'm so used to it at home, but that was the only thing I would change if I could. We will be taking our 7 children and 2 grands in August, and we simply cannot wait. Our marriage was suffering, and we never got time at home to work on it, but Paws Up had a little magic about itself, the calmness, the distance from outsiders and the undeniable romantic atmosphere gave us time to share our thoughts, feelings, time and space that no one else could interrupt or share. This was the only trip I've ever taken that I didn't go out on excursions, but I must say, IT WAS THE BEST TRIP I've ever taken. I would recommend this to EVERYONE. I already have recommended it to those I love, just so they can experience nature and the surprise of the beauty this place has to offer! If I could give it 10 stars, I would!
