This store is one of the most unorganized stores I’ve ever seen in my life. There is more stock on loading carts and knocked onto the floor than on the shelves. Nothing is where it goes and I honestly think y’all need to send corporate to this location to shut it down and start over. It’s ridiculous inside and I don’t know why people keep coming back because I know I won’t.

I can usually find items I need.Update from several years ago: I am enjoying the renovation with some new items I see, and I am happy that you have self checkout available. The folks I have seen recently working in the store are super friendly and helpful. One thing that would really help the store to look nice is for the floors to be mopped.

This is a great Dollar General that is little bit more expansive than most of them. for whatever reason I've always found more stuff that I want at this location. They're setup is also nice allowing a patron to easily navigate the isles. The staff is friendly and helpful. They tend to have incredible deals, like most Dollar generals, on basic holiday items for every season which I use them for frequently.I generally have different concepts in my head about what five stars mean depending on the service. Dollar General is only easily compared to Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. that being the place this place gets 5 stars, because it's the best of this lot in Durham.

Good store has most of what I need. Although it could be more organized, like they constantly have stock floats in the aisles that make it hard for customers to walk the aisles. The store manager is a great and nice guy and he's very helpful.

I stop by Dollar General to get a few items. The store isn't that old but the store looks 20 years old. The shelf are a total size wreck and you can't find nothing. The clerks don't know anything and they are very rude. At first they look nice and speaks to you with respect but in 5 to 10 minutes they change. Today I hear them laugh and joke about people who are barely getting by in this hard times. Then I learn the register doesn't add the coupons you have to get the manager to add them. And he doesn't know anything about the coupon

When your in a pinch and need something quickly in and out this is the store. You can usually find a little bit of everything and a lot you may not expect. Some prices are great, some may be a little bit higher than what you normally would pay. But most of the time it's saving a trip way across or into town so convenience means a lot.

very pleasent and kind workers. Especially those behind the register. Always greet you and apologize if there is line(which is out of there control) it's that reason I stop there almost daily. I much rather go there instead if Walmart any day. Thanks for always being kind. especially when you know it's free ❤️

The staff are very hateful and rude! The bathrooms do not work. Food in the cold section is out of date. I got a pizza from there that had soured! We want be coming back to this location! Just nasty and staff are very unprofessional.

WILLIAM was working when we went in last night and seemed to be working alone. He was able to answer our questions, ring us up, answer the phone, give directions, all while having a WONDERFUL personality and great customer service skills. He deserves a raise or some kind of special treatment. Employees like that do NOT come around very often.-Thank you William, for your great personality and comedic timing! We live in Durham and decided last night after meeting you,, we will be going to this dollar general from here on out. :)

Love this store. Lay out is nice. Komda tight but has nice variety and honestly the clothes are pretty cute and reasonable and hold up well. A one stop shop for me.

This store has went from 100% to zero% since Rick left. The whole entire staff is horrible, everyday the parking lot is dark until about 8:00pm, when asked why is it so dark very rude response by the manager, the shelf are always empty and there's stock all over can't even walk down the isle Employees are always outside smoking, there's never anyone at the front check out., I perfer to shop at other Dollar General, just a mess and too unprofessional by far the worst Dollar General Ever.

I'm retired and on a fixed income. I shop at Dollar General to get great deals on everything from groceries to paper towels. DG helps me stretch my retirement income a lot farther than I thought possible. Highly recommended!

Just a very convenient place to shop. Going into town takes way too long when you live halfway to Durham stores and Roxboro stores. Glad this DG is so close. Great staff.. Rick the store manager runs a great store!!

Our family has loved this store since it opened . Rick and the majority of the people are super hometown friendly but when you get overcharged by $19.60 and the acting manager Candice refuses to see her mistake and treats the customer with blatant disrespect I am wondering just who is making the decisions to promote this person to asst. manager position - someone that has zero customer service skills should not be in the position this Candice person holds . Our Timberlake store has always been about customer service and this experience with this young lady who needs to learn some customer service skills has really put a sour taste in mymouth for the direction I hope our store is not heading toward.

Wish they would make up their minds on how to set the store up. If you need ice don't get in a hurry even if you did in line and it's your turn for checking out. They will make you wait and check everyone else behind you out then get your ice

Having a yellow dot and white dot sale the cashier told me they were new items not on sale her manager told me they were blank... then she contacted the store manager and said they weren't white. Come on now, hire people that know their colors and don't blatantly lie.

Son forgot his shoes and after a 45 minute drive to Timberlake to eat at the Homestead we stopped here to get singe flip flops. Our cashier was extremely friendly. The other lady (white) was on her phone talking to someone while cashing out customers. No personality at all

I really like this DG now! Since they've remodeled and added a larger food section, it's a great place for the rural crowd to get a few essentials without driving all the way in to Roxboro.

This Dollar General is right off 501 and is on the outskirts of Roxboro about five minutes before getting into the actual town. It is easy to spot and sits on the left as you enter Roxboro. Its nice to go to if you need to run in and grab something quick. Its nice especially because the persin will not have to drive all the way to the nearest grocery store.

The Bake Shop is the best place we have visited in quite some time. We live in Roxboro and is well worth the drive just to eat there. Love it.

Okay here's the lowdown are Dollar general this was a godsend to everybody here in Timberlake when it was built. More people shop here then go to Walmart. Because it actually has more in stock then our Walmart does in Roxboro. so we call this our little Walmart because is actually friendlier and more things in stock and the people who work there they know everybody in town and be actually like those who work there they know everybody it's just our little to go to before in between shopping so it's not nice sometimes it's a little cluttered or messed up but you understand that due to the fact that it may be through a rush or what not but other than that it's a great little store when you just have to rush in and get something in between your shopping trips
